In the new September challenge the player would receive a random XT Skin that he/she doesn't currently have. My idea is to give the player 2 extra chances/rolls at the randomizing system, so if he/she gets a skin they don't want they would have 2 more chances to get another one.

I assume the decision was intentionally made to encourage players to complete the challenge regardless of what the final reward will be.

They should offer a specific XT, but when you already have that XT, you get a random XT. That way players know what to expect.

 

I don't think players can get the chance to select the XT they want.

 

With only random XTs, players are faced with a big gamble of getting any 1 of 26 XTs. Many will get frustrated.

 

But with a specific and random, some will go for the specific, while others can try their non-existing luck.

Well, it's what the devs decided. It's already a thing. Either way, if you have all XTs, then 500k crystals isn't much for you.

How often do you get an XT? And how long is it gonna take you to earn all 20 of them (22 when Gauss and Ares XTs are added and more as new equipment comes)? Knowing how often Tanki changes stuff related to rewards, I would be surprised if this 500k compensation lasts over 6 months before it gets reduced or removed completely.

First of all-it was meant it as a joke I didn't mean it (I thought writing not really would let you know I was being sarcastic).

Also-if you needed all 22XTs to get crystals-then it isn't actually worth it-so Tanki maybe should leave it for the first time you get an XT after you have all of them-since no one is buying 22 XTs for 500k crystals.

If it would get removed completely what would they put in its place-just leave it empty?

Bad idea, as updated, unless you're allowed to pick one of three offered it will be just disappointments.

 

My idea of 1 specific and then a random if you already have the specific is better.

Don't get started with drone XTs. Soon there will be protection modules XTs, supplies XT, and maybe even paints XTs. Tanki just need some cosmetic items for buyers to dump their money on. I think the price of some paints is already enough for buyers to pay-but if someone is willing to pay, tanki won't give up the revenue, and will concentrate on creating more cosmetics.
