It's been happening for years. I doubt it's a bug because it loads at EXACTLY one minute remaining in your pause time.

It doesn't reach one minute for me, but it's still enough to consume a notable portion of a battle's length.

Flash client. But sometimes, the battles don't load and I get kicked out for "inactivity"

Actually, as far as I know this is not the type of question for the Help site. This is more of a discussion topic because people can chime in with what they've experienced. Not everyone's garage takes 1 minute to load, so it's helpful if people can state whether it's the case for them - it's not a black-and-white answer.

P.S i'm not familiar with every game mechanic or everything in TO, so please don't judge me or @Zekrom (my other account), because we're only 13 - we don't have to know every game mechanic in the game P.S the newest update I remember on this account is probably the introduction of overdrives - the overdrive which activates RK, DA, DD, SB and Mines, also for other allies nearby.

To a Captain who's been here for years, many people will not take kindly to that.

It sounds super condescending, which is one thing for high ranked people who have been well-known on the forum for years (I would certainly not put myself in this category, being low-mid ranked and only being here for 6 months), but certainly another for a low-ranker that barely anyone has heard of.

Just keep it in mind. You can answer questions, but anything forum- or Tanki-related should be answered as humbly as possible (unless you find someone lower-ranked than you... which is unlikely  :rolleyes:)

I'm not saying you're opinion isn't valid, but don't talk down to people like they're inferior to you, or that you know how to use the forum better.

Sometimes it just doesn't load which by then you've already wasted 1-2 mins

The garage loading times are based on your internet speed, and are also assisted by the cache. If you have fast internet, the garage will load almost instantly, but with slower connections it may take over a minute. The delay is not intentional.

 

If your connection is slow, you can help it by loading and closing your garage at the start of the battle while there isn't much action, so that when you actually need to quickly open it and change, the loading will be much faster.

 

This should only last until HTML5 and the new interface, since at that point the internal loading mechanics will most likely change. Also, it's planned to eventually add a quick combo change system where you will most likely be able to quickly switch to another favourite combo with the press of one button.
