Nope, nobody has done that

  2. FPT9PQj.pngClick 'Mixer'
  3. cWwG6ym.png

Look for your browser and click un-mute along with system sounds and speakers.

Is there something wrong with the Silence map? I can't find it in any of the servers even though I'm a high enough rank.

There is nothing wrong in the map silence, just change the server and move to another server. Search on the map silence to play.

Please next time ask the question here: Questions & Answers

It still doesn't work, idk why

Assuming you're using Windows, go to:

Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound

On the window that opens, go to the 'Playback' tab (probably already selected when the window opened) and make sure that your Speakers are set as the default device - they should have a green circle with a tick/check mark in it. If the Speakers aren't the default device then you need to click on them and then on 'Set Default'.

I'm sorry, but how exactly do you do that? images?

Depends which version of Windows you have. Are you on Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8...? This is why that template in the first post is useful. :D

Windows 8

I have Windows 7 on here, so I can't use my own screenshots, but I'll grab some stuff online. First step...

Step 1: Open the Control Panel - from Windows 8 help pages:

To open Control Panel
  • Open Control Panel by swiping in from the right edge of the screen, tapping Search (or if you're using a mouse, pointing to the upper-right corner of the screen, moving the mouse pointer down, and then clicking Search), entering Control Panel in the search box, and then tapping or clicking Control Panel.

Control Panel includes some additional settings that you might use less often, such as customizing the desktop.

Step 2: Click on the Hardware and Sound option.

select-hardware-and-sound.png

Step 3: In the next window, click on the 'Sound' option, which is the third option in the list. I can't find a suitable screenshot for that but it's fairly obvious. That will open the Sound window.

Step 4: The window shown below should look like it does there, though your speakers and digital audio option will probably be a different brand. If the speakers don't have the tick by them then click on them and click the 'Set Default' button near the bottom.

Step 5: If that didn't work, try going through this tutorial: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/no-sound-help#no-sound=windows-8&v1h=win8tab1&v2h=win7tab1&v3h=winvistatab1&v4h=winxptab1

Windows 8

Check hardware

Many sound problems are caused by hardware that isn't set up properly. This step covers checking your sound card, plugging cables into the correct locations, making sure the hardware has power, and checking the volume.

1. Check your sound card

Check to make sure your PC has a sound card, or sound processor, and it's working properly.

Open Device Manager by swiping in from the right edge of the screen, tapping Search (or if you're using a mouse, pointing to the lower-right corner of the screen, moving the mouse pointer up, and then clicking Search), entering Device Manager in the search box, and then tapping or clicking Device Manager.1f9463c2-c968-47bf-9b4d-939c5d1af477_9.j  Administrator permission required You might be asked for an admin password or to confirm your choice.

Double-tap or double-click Sound, video and game controllers to expand that category. If a sound card is listed, you have one installed. If no sound card is listed, check the info that came with your PC to see if there's supposed to be a sound card installed. If there should be a sound card installed, you'll need to install one according to the manufacturer's instructions.

  • If you think you have a sound card installed but you don't see it under the Sound, video and game controllers category, expand the Other devices category and check the devices listed there.Laptops and tablets don't usually have sound cards. Instead, they have integrated sound processors, which appear in the same category in Device Manager.

If there's a yellow question mark on the name of the sound card in Device Manager, there might be a problem.

Press and hold or right-click the name of the sound card, and then tap or click Properties.

Tap or click the General tab, and then look in the Device status box to identify problems with the sound card.

If there's a problem, you might need a new driver for your sound card. For more information, see Step 3: Update drivers.

2. Check if the cables are connected properly

  • Speakers and headphones
  • HDMI cables
  • USB audio devices
  • Multiple audio devices
3. Check power and volume

If you have speakers, make sure they're plugged into a working power source and turned on.

Make sure that your speaker volume or headphone volume isn't muted or turned down too low. This is particularly important for laptops and tablets, which often have small speakers that can be hard to hear.

Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search.
(If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, and then click Search.) Enter Adjust system volume in the search box, and then tap or click Adjust system volume.

Move the slider up to increase the volume.

Make sure the Mute button isn't turned on. If the button looks like this:bc956393-768b-49ea-96c0-59e0e9100880_9.j Picture of the Mute button turned off, muting is turned off. If the button looks like this:d186b500-30b7-4799-a2e0-ebb43f9d2bd1_23. Picture of the Mute button turned on, tap or click it to turn off muting.

  • Some laptops and tablets have an external volume control on the outside of the case. If you're using a laptop or tablet, check the external volume control to make sure it's not turned all the way down.

In some cases you might have several volume controls to check. For example, if you're using Windows Media Player it has its own volume control, Windows has a volume control, and your external speakers have their own volume control. If any of these volume controls are set to their lowest setting, you won't hear any sound.

Use a troubleshooter:

A troubleshooter is an automated tool that can find and automatically fix some problems with your PC. The audio troubleshooter can diagnose and fix common sound playback and hardware problems.

As soon as I reached 800 mines (I don't use them a lot), they stopped deploying every time when I press "5" even if I have just respawned. Of 30 tries, only 5 mines actually went down. This has improved to about 1 in 3. Is there a "mine glitch" that is somehow preventing them from working "as advertised" whenever you are allowed to use them?

This is not a cooldown issue, and in fact they seem to work better just after another tool was used (eg 1,  or 4).
