I some-how got points in parkour mode without doing anything  :ph34r: don't know how. Other teammates was also able to see it, I ended up leaving and going to another parkour battle and it cleared.

this topic is for reporting bugs and glitches, not for solving technical problems.

 

 

What's the difference between a technical problem, a bug, and a glitch?  And how are users supposed to know what is causing a problem?  All we know is it isn't working.  We might be able to guess if the problem is on our end (internet slow, computer, etc) or maybe not.

 

My issue, and this has been going on for a long time:

 

A.  Enter a match.

B.  I'm in the game, driving around, and other players can see my tank, but something about it isn't working.  It's one thing for it to happen once in awhile, but this happens maybe 50% of the time.

C.  Things that stop working:

1. No sound
2. Take shots but they don't do any damage.
3. Can't pick up flags, cap CP's, or pick up drop boxes.  This usually happens along with #2.

D.  About 1/2 the time #2 or #3 happens, it's resolved by being destroyed once.  So, I suicide into an opponent, often, at the beginning of a game.

E.  If "D" doesn't work, reloading the game solves the problem about 1/2 the time.

 

Could overlook a glitch once in awhile but it happens so often, and takes so long to reload, it's a serious problem.

 

System:  Samsung Chromebook using 4G wifi most of the time.

 

It's a shame because I appreciate the ability to use Tanki completely within a browser.  Can't install any software on a Chromebook.  But I suspect this will all end soon, when Flash is blocked completely.

You're absolutely right. We don't expect players to know the difference between technical problems, bugs or glitches. That's something for the programmers/software developers to find out.

What this topic is for, is simply reporting issues, so we can escalate them to the developers as quickly as possible. This topic isn't the place where players can go to receive help with or solutions to the problems they're having. That's what the help site is for. The help site contains a lot of articles that offer solutions to various technical issues, and if there isn't one yet, players can post a new help topic there.

I've checked with a Developer, and it seems like what you've reported is not a bug though merely an effect of the anti-power-leveling system taking place.

I also have a bug happening with me, although I don't know if its just me or other players too, because it only happens on my browser

Whenever I log into Mozilla Firefox and enter lobby, pressing the 'Play!' button doesn't perform any action. Just shows the animation for a press and doesn't load a game for me.

Sometimes it happens too in the client. After a few battles, the button does not work and I have to close the client. And when I come back, it works.

NVM, it worked in the flash version. Now we know where all of these russian druggers get their supplies from!

nah it works but i think it doesn't effect the actual "value" of the supply, it just changes the visual number

Only a visual bug, after joining a battle your numbers will get back to normal.

As explained above it is just a visual glitch but it is quite interesting one since even I was confused when I saw it before. It will be forwarded, thanks for reporting it. :)

 

Those players who fight in Parkour, this is a pretty good trick to use and tell others to not mess with them since the picture might show 1 million mines..;p
