Keep in mind that your battle score and EXP are two different things now, so try not to compare your battle score with EXP, keep a close eye on your EXP bar, you'll notice the difference after a few battles.

 

 

 

Your battle score is now what powers your reward at the end of a battle. EXP is not the same as Battle score anymore - Meaning that 320 earned is not the same amount of EXP you earned. You earned 130 EXP points as stated in your mission. This was explained in the v-log right before MM came out, and it was explained in This topic.

This was happening yesterday, 3 times in 2 different game modes, TDM x 2 and RGB x 1. 

 

I was close firing with the enemy with Vulcan/Titan when suddenly the game completely froze for a few seconds then caught up. 

 

The following explains one incident, but is relative to the others:

Map and game mode: TDM on Highland using MM.

 

I had only been playing for a couple minutes. I was on the enemy side in close combat with Vulcan/Mammoth. Game froze completely...no turning turrets, no one running into walls, etc. After a few seconds, the game caught up and there was a big explosion, which was me just as I was killed. I respawned. Game continued on for another minute or so and the game froze again. This time, it didn't catch up. I reloaded the tab, got back into the game and was unable to move at all. Again, I reloaded the tab, but this time the bar didn't go all the way over. I clicked out of Tanki and restarted my computer.

 

Logged back into Tanki and picked TDM again. I didn't have to wait very long. I was sent to a different map. After a few minutes of playing normally, the game suddenly froze, again. This time I was firing at an enemy tank half way across the map. The game didn't catch up, I just sat there unable to move and no one else was moving, either. I clicked out of the battle.

 

Thinking it had something to do with TDM, I chose RGB in MM. Play started out normally....no glitches, no lags. Rugby ball spawned. I grabbed it, loaded a SB. I didn't get very far before the game froze again. No one was moving and the game didn't catch up. I logged out of the battle and didn't play for the rest of the evening.

 

Late last night (or very early this morning) I logged into a battle with no problems at all. I played a few battles this afternoon without incident. When the game froze, no messages appeared, no pop up windows. The last time I experienced this was a few years ago with a much slower computer.

TO had some issue last week, they are gone. However some are still there.

Whenever I am moving and shooting at the same time, my tank will not turn it's turret, which makes it virtually impossible to use Firebird or Freeze. It is a problem that is getting really annoying, if it was a previous update please let me know, but if not I would really like it if I could get it fixed. TIA

That sounds like an issue with your keyboard called keyboard ghosting, it can only take in a certain set of inputs at the same time.

 

You can test if this is the issue by pressing BOTH Shift keys at the same time and typing in "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog". If your keyboard does not type all the letters then you know its ghosting.

 

There are two ways to try to fix this; buy a gaming keyboard with anti ghosting features, or if you're willing to experiment you can open game settings and try swapping around your control keys to a set on your keyboard that don't ghost as much as the default controls. (ghosting varies with every keyboard and combination of keys pressed)

Bugs & Glitches in these days:

1. No damage in XP/BP battles,
   
2. An error occurred; Tank didn't show & player's name didn't shown in statics, (I'm facing it since 1 week)
   
3. Everyday server Lag between 1:00 - 2:00 GMT/UTC +0
   
4. Battle joining Glitche in XP/BP battles,
   
5. & Server connection failed.

I forgot the infamous error plague I've got within the last week.  Every time they popped up, 1) my screen would freeze or, more likely, 2) my turret would go limp during battle and not damage anything.  And this is on top of the crashes (I posted screenshots of these instances on page 229) I experienced when waiting for a battle.  On any browser or the official client, when the Matchmaker finds a battle and sends me there, the loading screen for the battle would not pop up, and after a few seconds, I get disconnected from the server.  Using the Flash Player Debugger, I am able to see some error text elaborating what went wrong while I was being sent to a battle, specifically mentions of missing stuff or "null object references". 

 

Personally, I'd like to think the newly added paints are partially responsible for some of my crashes, but I don't know for certain.  So far today, using the official client, I've had a smoother, crash-free experience.  Hopefully it pans out later today.

 

Edit: I've been on a mid-2014 MacBook with a 2.5 GHz Intel Core, 16 GB of memory, and two graphics cards (NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M and an Intel Iris Pro) for almost 4 years.

That's a false positive of anticheat, usually closing and re-entering the client should work. Also, there are known issues when running the game on Windows XP.

Sorry, this is useless. Because I play Madness map every day. In every 10 battles at least 7 battles appear this bug, 1-3 times per battle.

 

Also, there are known issues when running the game on Windows XP.

 

I play many maps of PRO battle and no PRO battle every day. But this bug will only appear on the Madness map. So it should not be related to Win XP operating system.

This is an old bug usually caused by unstable connection to the server or framerate lag, there isn't much you can do to stop it.

How old? I play this Madness map almost every day, starting from four years ago,(I have more than ten accounts) this bug has never happened! It just started about three months ago. OK?

 

I think it may be caused by some new update, not about the unstable connection. Why? Because this bug only happens on Madness map, many other maps do not have this bug. OK?

Are you doing missions in non-pro battles? Missions can only be done in non-pro battles, click the big green "Battle" button and select the desired mode, and it will take you to a non-pro battle.

That's really weird... have you tried playing Tanki on another computer to see if this issue occurs?

Dear Mods and Devs,

 

I'm experiencing a serious problem with TO.

 

Ever since the latest update introducing the 3 latest drones (4th to 6th) and Freeze rebalance, the client has been increasingly freezing with errors and now the browser's started getting them too!

I've tried playing on a MacBook instead of my regular PC laptop, clearing my cache, cookies, temp files etc. for my Firefox browser, deleting and reinstalling the client, nothing works- I get errors all the time on both! It took me about 10 restarts and 2 hours just to get my 50 kill mission today!

 

I'm counting on the next V-log and update with drones/juggernaut to iron out these problems, otherwise I'll be at wits' end.

Indeed this is correct, there are also no product kits in my Garage other than the supplies kit.

 

Is Tanki working on a fix for this?
