What's new in HTML5

Please release more update for the HTML5 version of Tanki Online. You promised that development and updates would be much faster in the HTML5 version of the game. Is that true?

Much faster than in the Flash version. If these updates were released for the flash version, they would take much, much, longer.

So I tried to load the html5 page and it isnt coming iup..

The old HTML5 version is working.

If the new HTML5 version is not working for you, check if your PC and browser support WebGL 2 using the link in first post.

The new one only works with Chrome, Opera and Yandex browsers for now.

The HTML5 looks kind of bland in terms of color. I personally think that it would be much better if the new HTML5 interface looked dark green with green text, just like it is with the Flash version.

HTML5 - Bland version:

Flash - Green dazzling colors:

Please change the boring gray colors of the HTML5 version to the same green colors that you see in the Flash version of Tanki Online. Tanki Online's interface looks better and more exciting in green. All the HTML5 menus and submenus must be re-colored in green as with the Flash version. That includes both matchmaking battles and pro battle menus, along with all the garage items and features.

By the way, green is my favourite color.

Few problems:

I would like to switch between (supported) languages.

I would like to turn the radar off.

I would like to sort battles by maps.

Keybindings for creating battles etc. are kinda cool, but why do they all differ? One specific key for one specific action would be better (for example: create/start battle, same action).

Music doesn't start as soon as the game does, it has a small delay.

Tanks give you the impression that they're floating.

The whole gray looks boring, monotonous.

This.

Doesn't help.

Loading screen looks boring, I mean:

Come on.

Shadows look...

yeah. Welcome to 2019

Graphics look washed out. Here's a quick comparison between Flash (with and without mip mapping) and HTML (max graphics):

Flash, Mip-Mapping: sharp

Flash, without Mip-Mapping: sharper

HTML, max graphics: washed out

Flash without Mip-Mapping looks the best, since it's the sharpest!

There are some more problems here and there, but I'm sure they were mentioned already.

Would be nice if things like a moving skybox could be added!

New interface themes will be added and will be buyable for real money. But I'm pretty sure they will be available for Tankoins and in Containers as well.

More languages will  be added after the official release. Turning off the rardar will most likely be added. About the inetrface, explained above. The graphics will surely be improved and look way better than the Flash version. And shadows. Loading screens, they probably will change with different interface themes. All I know.

Developes must add more control settings in the settings menu. The FPS and ping has to improve.

The new interface is designed to RAISE your fps IMO. The only way your ping can improve is if you get faster internet.

Exscuse me but how do I change the controls in the game? I go to settings and click " Control " but i cannot see anything but for mouse users.

Custom controls are planned but not yet implemented in HTML5, perhaps your best option currently is to try some key rebind software.

What FPS are you getting at the moment?

HTML5 is limited by your monitors refresh rate, so if you have a 60hz monitor you won't get more than 60fps, 95hz = 95fps and so on, as long as your graphics card is up to scratch.

What happens when you dont go to html? Will your acount be transferred automatically?

For now players can play with HTML5 or Flash version, there is no need to transfer accounts as both are the same game.

when they release the final version, it will become the default for all tankers, and the flash version will be gone.

dont think ill like it very much tbh

The current version has some missing functions, glitches and gameplay bugs but everything will be fixed with the final version, i am sure it will be better than the current version.

The new camera behaviour for keyboards is awful. I don't mind it being flowy, but the fact that it takes way too long to catch up with the turret after you do a sharp turn, for example, is just way out of place for me.

So, we still have no plans to fix the balance of MM battles!

Probably not. Devs have better ideas based on their knowledge of game economics and game psychology.

We're not humans, we're not even tanks, we're just numbers.

WebGL2 does not work on my device, even after updating my Chrome and Firefox browsers. I haven't figured out why.

So, for those of us who can't use the HTML5 version, how about occasionally putting "3 Hours of Premium" into Containers again so we can access Pro battles once in a great while? I haven't seen that for some months.

Try disabling 'hardware acceleration' in Chrome.

The new version doesn't work in Firefox for now.

I'd believe that if not how rapidly the decline accelerated over the past 9 months. Like we lost 50% of the playerbase in less than a year haha

EDIT: If we're numbers, then Semyon Strizhrak must have trouble with problems such as: 'which number is bigger? 60000 or 12000?'.

:D
