Sir , we want to see the numbers on how many are really buying them. see the only ones I can see of even thinking of buy would be staff due to the bonuses they get. for us who have to battle to gain any coins  seldom buy now.

 

. see when this event first came out lots bought into it , including myself. this is why he raised the price . more bought into it for a cheap price .. now on the second one we got smart and realized that it was not worth it less bought into it cause of the over high cost. so now you lowered the price again hoping players would jump into it again..

 

what I don't get is Tanki has rules for players to follow and yet when it comes to this event such as most see it as gambling . the rules do not apply .. why is that ?

right now company's are not looking at it as a gambling item.

 

But the F T C is looking into them ( as of Oct  2019 ) . They are right now deciding  whether or not if they are classified as a form of gambling .

so time will tell what will be happening to loot box's.

You are correct. I did a little research and it is true that the FTC is looking in to "loot boxes" as gambling.  There is a blog on the FTC website dated April 8, 2019 that states you can file an online comment on the subject until Oct 11, 2019.  Here is the URL for those interested in further reading: https://www.ftc.gov/news-events/blogs/business-blog/2019/04/ftc-workshop-looks-loot-boxes

Just like anything else "Caveat Emptor"  (Buyer beware).  I still say regardless whether it is considered gambling, it is a major form of RIP OFF.

 

Tanki must be desperate for money because they certainly make free playing not impossible yet, but certainly more difficult.  Take for example this change in missions from "finish so many games in a battle" to "cause so much damage to enemy tanks". On my Brigadier account,  I got a mission to "cause 300,000 damage". Out of curiosity I played 5 battles and i barely broke 70,000 hit points, due to the fact that

1. I was dumped into battles that were unbalanced and they ended within 2 minutes from my entrance

2. I was dumped in to battles with Legends which means I was up against opponents that were 7 ranks higher than me with more protection and better combos than me! Good luck causing a lot of damage. It comes out to 14,000 average damage which means that I would have to play 21 battles to complete the mission! Even if I managed to bring my average a bit higher, still it would require a substantial amount of battles. That is not for a casual player like me! And all this for 6 batteries!

I just feel sorry for the newbies that get hooked on this sort of thing and spend their parents money!  But then again as they say in my village "there is one sucker born every day!"

Hey bro, how are things?? I sent you a PM, long time no chat :)

 

OK, well if you either re-log or simply go to the "Battles" screen then back to the Garage and back to the "special" section then you should see the Coinbox - I had the same issue. On another note, personally I wouldn't recommend buying coinboxes (aside from with your "free" Tankoins on an account which you don't play enough to ever reach the 500 for Battle Pass) as I don't think personally that they are a good investment - better to buy something with a guaranteed reward in my opinion such as the Battle Pass for 500 Tankoins.
