Your only task is to colour one of the provided tank designs

As it has not been specifically announced in the main post that you're allowed to make such modifications to the provided tank design images other than to of course colour them, it is safe to assume that you cannot, and it would defeat the purpose of this contest anyway.

 

So, using a graphics editor, we're allowed to do things like blur, smudge, saturate, etc. the colors we add right?

Of course, that's perfectly alright, and a key component in showing off your skill in graphic design. ;)

I worked with saturation, contrast, layering, smudging, blurring, brightness, color balance, levels, curves, threshold, posterization, noise, neon, etc.

Well, we aren't talking about a mere coloring book. I think they're speaking pretty broadly when they ask us to color the image.

I submitted my work to the form and typed my name in the box where it asks you to, but I forgot to include my name in the work. Should I resubmit the work with my name in it this time, or would that be illegal for being a second submission? Do I even need my name in the work? good job on yours . but I don't think its what they wanted , Digital coloring, using a graphics editor . only saying this from past experiences on many times entering . also you might  still have time depending on your time zone.

there is a huge mistake on judging these photos .

Your only task is to colour one of the provided tank designs; either digitally with the use of a graphics editor, or physically by printing out the image and colouring it with pens, crayons, acrylics, oil colours etc. — whatever your choice may be. :)

seeing most of these entry's have been added imagines which is not right. . When a mod stated we could not add drawing images into the photo. ONLY COLOR our images.

 

this makes this contest unfair . also digital images were not allowed to photo shop things into the pictures as well. they were based only on coloring ..
