Ideas to solve a BIG problem in TJR

Problem:

 

When you're playing as the Juggernaut and one or more of your team mates try to get you and that player killed so that player can be the next Juggernaut.

Solutions:

 

I think players that die close to you shouldn't become the next Juggernaut, including Isidas, unless that Isida is at a good distance.

 

You can post you ideas too, I'll list them here is they are good. Thanks.

It would do more harm than good. Blocking is just part of the problem (and not that big of an issue at all since Juggernaut has greater mass), but what about your teammates intentionally not shooting enemies when you're being attacked? Or teammates using knockback to knock off your aim from a distance? On the other hand, good teammates, who are actively helping you by standing next to you and blocking enemy shots with your hulls, would suffer from this.

 

I personally don't think it's a serious enough problem to require any anti-sabotage mechanisms.

Some team mates stay near the Jug without shooting because they are waiting that the Jug is low on health to get close to the Jug and have both killed.

 

When tanks stay next to the Jug, even if trying to help, is not good because it limits the Jugs movement and cause the Jug to get splash damage. But maybe team mates that are fighting shouldn’t be affected by this, as long as they are doing damage to the enemy.

That's a lot of complicated conditions for something that likely won't be very effective, and isn't a significant problem anyway.

It’s a big problem at mid and low ranks.

 

Maybe a radius of 10 meters from where the Juggernaut dies should mean tanks that also die within that radius within a certain amount of time don’t become the next Juggernaut.
