Migration to new HTML5 version

The new version is not good at all ... we want the old version

Old version will be no longer possible due to the Flash technology being abandoned by its creator and removed from the web browser. So there is not choice in that matter, TO has to move to the new version.

Saying that, Devs needs to make TO HTML5 better or as good as when with Flash, therefore share here with more details what you did not like.

I do not see the Product kit in the HTML5 garage, bug, mistake, will be added latter or is it by design?

The stutters and frame rates are impossible. (Yes, I have an older machine, but it has Nvidia graphics card. I double checked the settings. I can't swear it is working properly.)

 

Please keep supporting the client. I cannot play without it. Of course, if you force HTML5, I won't have any regrets just quitting.

 

I tried the mobile version some time back and hated it. What I just played in HTML5 is at least as bad as the mobile.

I have old laptop also and i got same problems , and i know somebody else with older pc/laptop and he also suffers same problems .

As long as they keep the client as it is ( maybe here and there some minor changes) , all is fine . If i have to switch , then at the moment its a no go , since its barely playable . I do have account for mobile , and did try a few games there ( well not even full games since it was too embarassing ) and did not go there again . If i cant play , well then i cant play ... nothing i can do about it . So keep the client or lose players ( i know im not the only 1 having problems with it ) . I am not saying , get rid of HTML 5 , not at all , only it isnt for me and my old laptop . Its fine for many people , so good for them and i can see the changes they made ( looks lot more like the mobile version ) .

bring back the old log in system. for some odd reason this new system wont allow me to save my account / password to log in with. been hitting the remember me button , but for odd reason it wont save. everyday I have to remember my account password

I assume you just quoted the wrong post...I think you meant Viking4s and his typical whatever Tanki did is great type of post. 

I am not always happy, don't say that so lightly. I dislike the fact that the radar shows red bleeps in DM battle instead of green, that does triggers my OCD (but it is minor). 

I also shared a month ago about the grey interface with few shade of grey which made it difficult to see what is ours / we bought and what is not. They changed it so now it looks better, is it enough for me maybe not for everybody, someone suggested a radioactive green (yuck).

 

Camera needs reworks, can't play with wasp, hornet is better. And I will not say that it is great (it was ok a month ago, they changed it and that it ain't my fault). 

 

For the mission/quest, "cool" feature is a bit extreme. Useful yes for mission seekers, if not accessible we will survive (it is minor compared to the camera issue). What is possible is that they removed the access in battle for the exact reason that Pedro wrote. The other possibility is that it will added later. 

 

The product kit no being available in HTML5 garage is also worrying. And I will not say that it is great. 

 

And there is many other useful stuff added and improved.

 

We use different computer, and play for different reasons so we will experience different issue and concerns, therefore when I say that I have no issue for a specific matter, that does not mean it is fine for the others. I do not represent all the players (I am not that popular), the same for any other player. I have played the game a lot and still enjoy it, sorry to disappoint.

The new version of HTML5 is good BUT it's SO HARD to play with the enormous sensitivity of

the turrets. PLEASE change it, i can't play professionally as i did and it's hard even playing normally!

I will stop playing Tanki Online when this HTML5 is forced onto client too. Reason is simple, when I need to adapt to new graphics(crap) why should I not try other games?

I have both Internet Explorer and Google Chrome, but I've always played Tanki in Explorer (using Flash of course.) I have tried out the HTML5 version in Chrome and it's cool, but I was wondering if this same version will be available on Explorer when and if Tanki stops using Flash altogether.

where is the protecting modules information icon during battles?? i dont want tht info in scoreboard, i need it how it is in flash version

why chat in menu, or waiting room is only in my language?? why i cant talk other people from other countrys?? i dont want to be infonet excluded.

why i cant change the language of my game??

why you guys say press G to go garage fast and it does not work

why garage is 3 or 4 clicks away and need like 2 minuts to figure garage layout?

why hlm5 gameplay version compared to old flash one is trash?? why sensitive of movements looks to high??

why  a pc game looks like a  version of a phone and not the oposite????

Why everytime i play in hlm5 i regret doing it?? like in the occasion i played tanki in phone for first time, and i regret so much  that already delet it.

Still using app until better performance of new version. if it ever gona exist. cause how it is ,not fun to play.

Hmmmm! I play World of Tanks and War of Warships on different computers and I have no issues whatsoever. Everything looks and behaves the same no matter what computer I use. I guess since they are solely client based, they do not have the issues Tanki has.  Oh, by the way. a small note that when entering a battle in either game, you always enter at the start of the battle, teams are evenly matched and you are matched with players of your rank and perhaps one higher rank above you.  Not 7 ranks higher that Tanki places you!  Food for thought!

You're right about everything but I will answer to this.

 

In the Client, it's easy to see the modules information. It's also easy to open the garage.

 

In HTML5, you can't see modules information during the battle. And opening garage is a mess.

 

It looks like they decided to remove all the cool features and make them bad instead.

 

Seriously, they are making all the wrong decisions, it's insane.
