Migration to new HTML5 version

I might try alternating between HTML5 and Flash with today's battles, but still struggling with HTML5

 

Does anyone know why this change was made? The increased angle of turret movement before the turret appears to be stationary relative to the environment. It's the thing that's made using Smoky more difficult for me (and other turrets for other players, presumably). UI / fonts etc. stuff is trivial compared to this.

You can fix the camera and make it feel like Flash and also improve your aim especially in xp/bp by decreasing the height of the browser to half of the screen.

Your view angle will increase too which makes you able to see more around you.

Just test it.

Pretty sad.. They made a whole new thing and (a large part of) the players still just wants Flash interface

Hi,

reporting problem:

  1. Sounds do not operate as it should be. sounds seem to be like losing radio frequency and gaining it back and go on like loop.
  2. I got a little bit drop in FPS to 30, 35 , 40. while in Flashy version it is more stable  45 FPS.

 P.S. Will there be any "Downloadable Client of HTML5" just like what flash has now?

Currently HTML5 does perform slightly worse than Flash for some PCs, hopefully this will improve in the future.

 

A downloadable client version is planned.

Some PCs? I never saw any Youtuber of tanki making videos on so-called HTML-5 ugly versions.

Nope, that just turns up the volume on my Mac. And using the function + fn11 key shows me the desktop. I can go fullscreen from the garage though.

 

New to Html5. What's going on with the colours? Why is everything washed out and pale?

 

Also I hate the sizzle effect when supplies are charged, Sizzling from behind usually means an Isida has snuck up on me and is killing me. Every time it goes off I automatically hit a first aid kit!

I use Windows, so for me is just F11, for Mac you need following shortcut: Ctrl+Command+F

For me the html5 camera is definitely a lot better compared to flash, I use mouse controls.

Wait, what? if you use keyboard contrlos you control camera with keys, i use mouse so i control camera with mouse, camera in html5 with mouse controls feel so much better,but  for keyboard controls i dont know.
