What You Bought on 50% Sales

I believe @TheCongoSpider made a topic like this on the Tanki Birthday but I couldn't find it so I'll say it again (just so people talking about the subject have one place to say it).

 

What did you buy on the 50% sales, how are you liking it, how are you doing with it, and what would you change if you could?

 

Before the sales, I had 260K crystals (roughly).

I bought two M2 protection modules (Falcon and Wolf) to go along with my existing two (Grizzly and Eagle). I also bought a kit, Pirate (Gauss/Mammoth), for 2.6K TKs, which gave me a fifth M2 module: Owl. 

I upgraded the three new modules to 28% protection, and upgraded Gauss to 6/10, going on 7/10. By the end of all that I had 23K crystals left, with which I upgraded Grizzly to 29% protection.

 

I've played 4 battles with Gauss so far.

I then played with Hunter/Gauss in Polygon CP and did well (no screenshot).

Overall, I'm very happy with my purchases.

Upgraded my firebird to 9/10. And my hunter is upgrading to 7/10. Got compact tanks but I was too lazy to get more protection modules. I literally only have 2 lol.

• Isida M2. I forgot how fun this turret is to play with

• Wolf M2. Duplet Hammers are the bane of my existence, especially with the Viking OD

• Two paints I've had my eye on for awhile: Jade and Pixel

• ~100 Repair Kits (wouldve bought more, but I was rather low on crys already)

 

I'd say I made good purchases all around

I bought three M2 modules, Rail / Thunder / Gauss, and MU'd them two steps on this account

And two M2 modules, Rail & Gauss, and two MU steps for another account. That one isn't going to make it to Captain before New Year, so might have to wait until the next 50% sale after that one to get it

In my Issimo account I had to play a lot of hours to rank up and buy Titan M1; I also bought Brutus and Fire Prot M1. Then a couple of MUs. Could've bought Keeper long ago, but didn't want to have the Keeper paint.

 

So, I went from 0 GS to about 1200 GS.

On this account: I bought 1 MU for everything that I use nowadays. Am left with approximately 35k.

 

On my VikingPrime account: I bought 1 MU for everything, and a couple of alterations which were 10k each. Also opened 5 containers and received the Hammer XT skin as the final reward.

 

On my KillerDiesel account: I bought 1 MU for a few items, and m2 viking which I can use for juggernaut battles. Also received the new thunder and Viking Prime skin, and looks awesome.

 

So Black Friday has been good to me.

Gauss M1 on a WO1 alternate account. It's awesome. 

Cyclone alteration on this account. Considering I'm using it on a fully MUed Striker M1 in battles where people are using MUed M2s, I won't say it's really bad. The lock-on and 8-rocket salvo are pretty great, but other than that, the single rockets aren't making much of a dent on enemies.

Upgraded my Falcon Module 1 step. Don't like using speed ups.

Would have bought Gauss M2 if I were 2nd Lieutenant.

I bought the Fireworks kit on my RTL account, and fully micro-upgraded the Hammer, and bought 7/10 upgrades on the Hornet. The combo pairs nicely with the Hammer XT I received from the XT container from this month's challenge 

 

On this account, I fully micro-upgraded my Ricochet M3, which allows me to fly some very far distances when paired with my Wasp M0. I spent the remaining 50,000 or so crystals on Double Armors and Repair Kits, but unfortunately, I have already used most of these completing this week's Parkour Survival task (which I still haven't completed)... 

 

 

Side note: Loving the new Discord emojis! Now I can use my favorite ones in the Tanki Forum, as well as on Discord!
