Why bother with rank limits on modifications when you can micro upgrade

Hi, 

I am always seeing people at w05 with full m3 combo, this makes the game very unbalanced. 

 

Btw i am a non buyer and am at colnel rank with 3/10 m2s

Hopefully thats what the Mk update seeks to address. It will split up modifications to 7 steps so there isn't a massive gap in between them all. 

 

Remains to be seen how well it will work.

I always said that MUs should be limited based on rank. So instead of instantly unlocking the next modification via MUs, you should be limited to the base modification at first, then 5 MUs after a couple ranks, then another 5 after another couple. But the modification system changes will basically serve the same purpose.

I think the prices of the equipment should be based on the modification upgrade and the micro upgrades that come after it.

Id suggest that having kits and garage purchases together is not great. Id suggest removing kits entirely and lowering prices of protection or soemthing to accomodate. Let ppl buy what they want individually. Currently there is zero reason to purchase items in garage until after marshall.

Kits are not the same bargain they used to be, and kits are notoriously hard to pin down - they are not readily available.

At early ranks you can easily rank-up beyond the kit you were hoping to get before it's actually avaialble in garage.

 

Plus you pay for things you may not want/need... paints especially.  Buying individual items on sale gives way more flexibility.
