Freezing lasts longer than 2.7 seconds stun does.  Players will whine about that too.

Uh no, I meant that it's next on the list for nerfing because mammoth and titan already got their nerf. Also IMO yes, hornet's overdrive is underpowered as it is rn.

Couldn't agree more, I can literally buy maybe like one star with the amount of tankoins I'm able to get in a week or two (I'm obviously a non-buyer). And not being able to buy product kits w/ crystals anymore in HTML5 version is very, very stupid.

Exactly.

 

The way it was phrased    "should be next on the list for nerfing, after mammoth and titan"    made it look like mammoth & titan needed to be nefed.

Wasp OD is not OP, no matter what the potential, and that is just ONE EXAMPLE (?). I don't care about counter, it's not my point here.

 

Hunter is different from others OD in a huge way. As I said BEFORE, it affects enemy tanks in 3 different ways. Am I using proper words here? 3 different ways. Hope that clears it up for you.

 

But I don't know why I waste my time here, you're clearly a fanboy, with soon 200 hours on Hunter.

Not a fanboy.  Just realistic.  I don't like fact that hornet OD lasts 20 sec and allows it to one-shot my medium hulls.  But I live with it and move on.

Not realistic, biased. Hunter OD is OP because it affects enemy tanks in so many ways. Hornet is probably the next OP OD and it would be less OP with only 10 seconds instead of 20.

And although you are right that it has its flaws, like having no visible difference to enemies when active, I think it does more good than harm.

The system being randomised and multiple rank mixed all together, therefore the chances to be with noobs, noobs buyers, skilled free to play player or skilled buyers are the same for both team.
Don't assume that every buyer is unskilled, same for F2P don't assume that they do not have strong equipment (many F2P claim to be skilled, don't discard them with demur).

If you play the game you would have known that free supplies are available to all by the thousands, so YOU can too destroy everybody without using the slightest bit of skill. I have so many of them that now i dare spam them in parkour format, i would never have done that 3 years ago.

Team performing poorly than the other is the "weak" team. Poorly by having less organisation, fewer kill and more death, too many snipers no enough defender,... 

Maybe a problem for people unhappy to die too young early. Now you drive to the enemy base and shoot to make your way, bam 0 damage your shot is wasted. As there is no way to know if and when the "temporary protection" is lifted, and tell me how this is better for the game play.

Because it'll be the solution to spawn killing epidemic. Sure it currently has some flaws, but it'll be a good feature.

Hunter OD is definitely overpowered, but you gave me a real shocker there when you said hornet was the next most powerful.

 I've left my hornet m2 in my garage collecting dust for a year now... Not enough armour for me. I prefer my viking m1 TBH

I think that could be the only solution to the game.

 

Reboot Tanki.

  • Make a new game based on Tanki.
  • Everything the same except for a new HTML5 interface.
  • And no Overdrives, no Drones, no Alterations, no Siege, no Assault, no Gauss, no Magnum, for a while or ever.
  • Start with Smoky, Fire, Wasp and Hunter.
  • Call it New Tanki.
  • The current (Old) Tanki could continue for some time, a year or two, but with an announcement that it will end.
  • Transfer all accounts to the New Tanki.
  • Some can wait until the end of the Old Tanki to transfer, while others can transfer as soon as the New Tanki is available.
  • Accounts that transfer should get all their economic advantage in the form of Weekly Containers with value based on their Old Tanki rank, meaning they get the full value once they reach the same rank or equivalent. If you open all your Weekly Containers at Recruit you wont get the whole value of your Old Account, you'll get a lot less.
  • Aesthetics could be transfered with an Aesthetics Currency.
  • It may be the only way for Tanki to continue.

 

PS: I was kidding about the new word.

Would being able to go from Mk7 to Mk1 have any economical problems or  other problems with tanki and tanki players?

This game is now a complete JOKE and this is most likely all we will see from now on. 

Might as well rename this game to Dictator-Online

I am disgusted that this is the current state of the game, this is completely against the spirit of the game (where you have to use your skills and work hard to win, ie. EARN crystals and play well to finish first). Players can now get a Crystals/Experience (C/E) ratio of (in principle) infinite since they can exploit this 'update' (which I will only refer to as a 'mistake') to boost their efficiency by excessive amounts, since they can make crystals while earning (practically) ZERO experience. One player recently managed to get a C/E of 104.47 on a particular day (this would have been impossible prior to this mistake). I shall not mention the name of this player. No longer do we need to use our skills or put in any effort, instead, we can achieve the impossible:

I can tell you that this really is a mistake, and, I hate this because it actually harms the gameIt harms the game because the game is no longer played in the spirit it was supposed to be.

Agree with AbsoluteZero and IllusionZone on this one.  Often see the same thing in Siege and CP too.  It breaks the game.  It takes away from the crystals and stars received by the people on their team that are actually playing the game and not taking advantage of bad mechanics.

I’m assuming they updated Dictator’s OD to get people to play with Dictator as it was probably the least used Hull in the game. Great, they got what they asked for, but I still think 25 points per player is too much. Ideal would 10 points per player. Maybe even 5 points exclusively in Siege mode.

 

Dictator Online sounds about right ?

I wouldn't give a hull anything - no other hulls get special status. The reason they'll state is for giving it extra points is to encourage the player using it to share its effects with others. If they want players to use it more then they should give the overdrive some additional feature, eg, drop more mines for the player who presses shift or give it 3 seconds of God Mode.  Additional features worked for Hunter's popularity so why this for Dicator?

 

Tanki do this type of thing every year and that's why I'm so sceptical about their motives. It's really put me off playing.

Further to this, the rise in popularity now with dictator has now spoiled the Supplier Drone. With dictators running around, ignoring the game mode, doing their best to share their overdrive, Supplier drones have little time in which they can be used because their drugs are activated half the time which stops the drone from being used. Supplier is now defunct and game mechanics are broken.

 

I see @theFiringHand logging in all the time but at no time has their been any response regarding any of the concerns raised. Is there any wonder some of us become so cynical.

 

500 stars in to this challenge, I'm done.
