completed Recreate polls for “Let’s discuss turret/hull!”

These polls are very old, and have been voted on during old metas.  It is likely many players did not change their vote and left the game.  This provides incorrect data about player preferences, and may influence a player into believing something is superior than all others(e.g Thunder Viking, as all polls show).  

 

I propose that we can simply delete the old results and create a new one for players to vote in.  

 

I would also like to add an additional poll for best alterations either seperately in “Let’s discuss turrets!” or all together in “Let’s discuss alterations!” for each turret.  

 

I don’t know when this should be updated though.  I doubt we can trust players to keep this updated, but resetting it every update will be annoying.

I think the polls are just entirely pointless. They don't really give any useful or interesting results and should be removed completely.

Fair enough.  I just found it kind of interesting which turrets and hulls are more popular, although still on a small scale.

I don't mind having polls, but we need some more interesting questions. Things like "do you like it" and "would you buy it" always yield the same kind of results because people visiting the thread are usually fans of the turret/hull.

All I know is that the developers love Viking, Hornet, Thunder, and Railgun more than any other turret and hull and that they will always prioritize making Skins and alterations for those turrets/hulls first.

 

I mean, just look at it, Thunder and Viking have FOUR skins each and Railgun has the most alterations........

It's the players who made that choice. Those four items (also Hornet) are by far the most popular equipment in the game.

Sadly, there are also players who don't play with Thunder, Viking, Railgun, or Hornet.

But yeah, I get the fact that things in popular demand are put on the priority list.

What if the questions were changed to:

 

Do you think turret/hull is balanced?

Strong 

Balanced

Weak

Useless

 

Better words can be used, but this would act as community feedback, but quantitative data.  After all, the discussions are almost always based on balancing the turret/hull.

Well, the poles really don't provide much of any information nor is anyone quite keen on viewing these since everyone likes to get first hand experience when it comes to turrets and hulls. But Information is information it should be available to all whether they are interested or not, none the less it would be quite appreciable if even one player were to be benefited from other players opinion. You never know, you just wake up and see the polls being the hottest thing around.

IKR!!! I hated that, especially that it meant the alteration I just bought " Compact tanks" was no longer as valuable as it used to be because everyone did 300 damage now.
