Let's look at Harvester Mk4 in the shop showcase - cost 90.1k cry

1. Titan mk4 - 0.05k+2k+16k+29k
2. Vulcam mk4
3. Protection module mk 4

Looking at the wiki I have to pay for Titan mk4 all the previous upgrade: 0.05k+2k+16k+29k => 47.05k
do the same for the turret and PM Vulcan Mk4 => 77.55k (0.55k+7k+23k+47k) and PM mk4 => 49k (1k+3k+15k+30k)

Total kit would be 47.05+77.55+49 => 173k Compare that against 90.1k for the shop showcase it is 52% savings and not 15%.

 

The question is why the discount is different?

If you look in the product kits details sold with tankicoins you will see that only the last modification cost is taken into account. if you do that you will have the 15% reduction. 29 + 47 + 30 = 106 => minus 15% => 90.1k.

So the 15% seems low, but it will only happened if you have bought the previous MK3 kit.

 

If you had already the previous kit for crystals, the system is indeed unfair compare to Tankoins product kit as you have to wait till the offer happens randomly and it is one rank above Tankoins product kit unlock. 

 

If you already have the MK kit below, wait for any weekend discount above 15% to buy equipment individually. Or even better wait for the big 50% discount.

@Viking4s explained it well, but to put it in simpler terms — it is more beneficial for the economy to sell stuff for tankoins instead of crystals, because tankoins are a premium currency. In the end the crystal price is still much cheaper because, unlike tankoins, you can actually realistically earn crystals in battles for free.

There is not much else to discuss here. You can talk about kits in this topic.
