The Yin Yang Conflict is over and we’ll be handing out the rewards later today.

 

But before we do, we’ve got an important announcement to make.

 

Due to a technical problem, there was a mistake in how the paints were placed on the landing page. However, you do not need to worry about your rewards. To make up for this unfortunate mistake, we have decided to give rewards to all the players who participated in the Conflict, based on Stars earned (as explained in the announcement), regardless of which side of the Conflict they were on.

 

Therefore:

• 400-799 stars: 5 weekly containers, 3 regular containers* and the unique event paint.
• 800-1399 stars: 10 weekly containers, 5 regular containers* and the unique event paint.
• 1400-2199 stars: 15 weekly containers, 10 regular containers* and the unique event paint.
• 2200+ stars: 20 weekly containers, 15 regular containers* and the unique event paint.

* Containers will be issued only to those players who have purchased a Battle Pass at least once during the February challenge.

Welcome to “Conflict — Yin and Yang”, the event where two opposing factions will clash to earn Containers and the exclusive Yin Yang paint.

 

Conflicts are a lightweight version of the Wars we’ve been organizing for the past months. From now on, “War” will refer exclusively to events similar to the “War for Christmas” where you vote for the territories you want to attack and defend.

 

How Conflict works

 

1. The event will run from February 1st till February 29th, starting and ending with the server restart.

2. To participate, you must buy the special distributor paint, available in the Shop (price: 15 Tankoins) throughout the duration of the Conflict.

3. The distributor paint will randomly assign you to one of two factions — Yin or Yang.

4. Then, all you need to do is play and collect Stars.

5. The faction with the most Stars at the end of the event, wins.

 

The members of the winning faction will receive the following rewards based on their efforts:

 

• 400 - 799 Stars: 5 Weekly Containers, 3 Regular Containers*, Yin-Yang paint**
• 800 - 1399 Stars: 10 Weekly Containers, 5 Regular Containers*, Yin-Yang paint**
• 1400 - 2199 Stars: 15 Weekly Containers, 10 Regular Containers*, Yin-Yang paint**
• 2200 Stars of more: 20 Weekly Containers, 15 Regular Containers*, Yin-Yang paint**

 

**ATTENTION: The Yin Yang paint will only be awarded to members of the winning faction who have earned a minimum of 400 Stars.

 

 

*To receive Regular Containers, you must have purchased at least one Battle Pass during the event.

 

Get ready to join the Conflict and make sure you track your faction’s progress on the special page.

 

P.S. Keep in mind that this month we will have TWO Challenges with a 24hr break in between, starting from 02:00 UTC on February 15th till 02:00 UTC on February 16th. During this period, you will not be earning any Stars. However, your Stars from Challenge II will be added to the ones you earn in Challenge I, so you will not have to start from zero.

plus i see you have increased the war paint price  from 10 to 15 tankcoins

why does it even have to costs tankcoins, i mean if a player from 2014 would want to participate why would they, they would have to grind 3 weekly missions just to buy the pant, and then grind a few hours everyday and use up all their suppies and buy a battle pass, uggh

tanki is becoming more and more disgusting every time.

they say they want to listen to the players advice

soon they will have no players to take advice from if this continues

yeah... you're right about that...and not only that you need to get a frickin battle pass to get regular conts....on top of that rewards will only be alloted "if your faction wins" -_-

It's really not hard at all to complete your daily missions. You don't even have to complete all 3 weeklies in one week, because they add up. Anyone with half a brain can accumulate 15 Tankoins.

Weekly Containers are very good items in and of themselves, because you get giant hauls of drugs every week from them. Animated Paints are just a cosmetic and don't mean anything when it comes to your strength. You can only use the Green paint and get from Recruit to Legend just fine.

The fact that only the winner gets something... maybe next event... Let's see: Do you want to sink your time in a job that has a 1/2 chance to give you no salary?

-->This war feels like a giant "be in the top 3 spots of the winning team" mission. You may be winning at the start, but then, boom, you lost, nothing for you. What a shame.

Since I have some tankoins to spare I'll see if I get lucky, but if not I will just ignore it. What's even worse is that some players whit countless alts will only play for the already winning team increasing the score gap, so the distributor thing loses some of it's meaning (this is not really the dev's fault, but come on, at least give the unlucky losers something).

The distributor paint will be different depending on which side you get put on, and if your side wins and you achieve 400+ stars, you'll get the yin-yang paint.

Basically, to sum up this contest, if your already planning on completing stars for the monthly challenge, yo can pretty much gamble 15 tankoins (which isn't much) to recieve extra rewards, so in hindsight, it's actually not that bad.

So you're saying if I earn 2000 stars in Challenge I by February 15th, then I will still have 2000 stars on February 16th when Challenge II starts and I will have automatically completed that challenge with the stars that have carried over from the previous challenge? Or am I misunderstanding that

You're correct :

Example : 2000 earned in Challenge 1 and 50 earned in Challenge 2 and then on 16th onward you will be having 2050 stars :

2000 (C.1) + 50 (C.2) = 2050 (C.1)

The statement is solely about the Conflict. Your Stars from both Challenges will be added only for this event. On the other hand, you need to earn 1000 stars separately in both the Challenges.
