Got it .you're right viking would've been better but dictator is not a suitable choice .it's stability is bad for sniping -shakes too much ,hence takes more time to snipe and i mostly use peek-a-boo sniping (pop out ,zoom in ,shoot ,pray that it dies and repeat) and for that dictator is a nightmare .

besides on a totally unrelated note -damn the holiday paint looks hot af on a mk7 combo

I am just amused on the sidelines people complain about TO still. They'll never fix the game. They don't actually listen to feedback. Just give up. When they nerf things, it is actually the developers raging when they battle each other.

The way things have gone so far for me on that front - I'd be better off if containers were never added to the game.

I have a net loss compared to most other players.  I fall behind as they get decent rewards and I do not.

MM has been crap since it was introduced and they have made almost no substantial improvements in... how many years?

Hornet OD has been running amok for years now - no signs Devs are balancing that either.

And this summer experience-boost program has driven away half the low-to-mid rank players since it's a crappy deal for them.

What is there to be happy about?  It's much worse today than it was 4 years ago.

You get experience in Pro-battles but battle fund is cheaper.  Same issue for < Legend.

And you left out the 3rd option - which MANY are doing - park the account for the duration.

Battle funds are cheaper than in mm  these days anyway, not gonna get any difference in pro battles after this exp boost thing. So best way to not rank up too fast is by playing pro.

I'm pessimistic because the Devs have not shown they are capable of fixing MM or balancing ODs.  Heck - they aren't even trying.

Wrong -  If you play Pro-battles you get more exp than crystals.  So the best way to avoid the dumb exp boost if you are < Legend is to not play at all.

Yes but you would rank up slowly - very slowly if you play maps like wave and serpuhov. Besides you get like discount weekends and more events almost always(after this exp boost too) so crystals may not be much of a problem. But what u say is true for lower ranks so all they can  do maybe is to “park the account for  the duration:)” or to create new accounts and play.

Disagree. Best way to get around it is to change all missions to crystal missions by watching ads on mobile , of course not possible on iPhones, but Android is far more common than Apple products anyway. Should you have an android device you can get around 5k crystals every day depending on rank from daily missions for less than 1-2k experience, add weekly mission rewards on top of that and I make 60k every week minimum just from missions alone (7 x 6k + 18k from weekly containers). Going to be lower for lower ranks but still probably above 50k for anything above major.

This is not including the 3 free containers that could net you some decent rewards - I've had 100k crystals and some augments for both turrets and hulls drop from those. 

 

This current tanki economy, if anything, benefits the casual, daily mission player and severely disadvantages non-Legend players who grind and try to complete challenges and super missions and the such

That's what I'm doing mostly for my mid account - play to do some missions if there is synergy.

But this account is playing a lot of pro-battles for fun and - exp is actually a good thing - slowly gets to new rank for another 40k.  (they should bump that by 2k to 5k) each subsequent rank-up.

Personally, I like using iOS, I sold my old Android phone to my friend and he plays TO Mobile. I'm pretty good there too, but the HTML5 version works fine on my MacBook Pro, which is what I'm now "currently playing" Tanki Online on.

Why are there so many toxic players in the game? I just came out of a battle which had a player who was shouting and swearing at our team just because we were losing. I joined the battle late (there were only 3 minutes left) and I was reaching his score fast. He got so angry that he began to mult and swear at me repetitively. He was going crazy to just get 3 stars. It's so petty.

MatchMaker on it's own has enough issues.

Challenges doubles down on that.

I rant at players on my team from time to time.  The ones sitting there all game doing nothing.  Or the Legends entering the battle with a GS < 5000.  No excuse for that - they are basically mults at that point.

 

And more crap battles today where at the start it's 8 vs 5.  3 tanks not loaded to battle 2 minutes in.  MatchMaker is absolute crap.
