My current thinking is that efficiency calculation does not use PRO-battle scores, hence he is stuck at 973xx. My gut feeling tells me that you can inch your efficiency up these days by using a support drone with sharing capabilities (mechanic, trickster, supplier) playing in a certain battle mode where your teammates are bunched together. Doing this with a dictator hull also helps. Boris4311 was ranked around 50 for a number of years and got up to the high 30s, now back down to 43. During the run up from the 50s to the high 30s, he was using a dictator. But again, where is the fun doing this chore babysitting your teammates when you can blast any enemies nonstop. That is the essence of p2w.

AYYY!! I just finished the Challenge and the 1000 Mines mission! I have 44000/50000 battle score for the final mission

I didn't think Hopper would help me return to Tanki Online. I mean, I used to hop on every now and then, but this is truly a big jump for me. 

Vulcans are still annoying though. It has 0 skill and offer no strategic element to gameplay. Especially with Hull Augments.

I opened all my containers. I got some AP augments which are already pretty bad for things I NEVER will use. Speed Boosts and Mines which nobody wants, and Titan XT. Well, time for my hibernation again.

I've seen you playing very well in both of our battles. That cap from the sky was hilarious with hopper

the jump in the Bridges Map was indeed really funny. You can't stop that cap. Anyways, dudeeee the AP Augments are trash! There is no other word for it! It is basically a weaker Hornet OD!

No skill in using vulcan, i beg to differ.

Now using a FLYING CHEAT to cap a flag because it by passes half the map is my definition of no skill.

Your a kid, i get it, kiddies like gimmicks, and bright coloured hulls, and shot effects etc, the FLYING CHEAT is a OP gimmick aimed at the little kiddies and the buyers.

Also can't believe you have completed the mine mission, suppose someone has to.

How you figure?

Unless you have the fire immunity (can't buy with crystals) you have to start/stop firing.

It's not insta-kill so targets, especially protected ones, have options - get under cover, use RK, activate DA, activate OD, etc.

It certainly has weaknesses like terrible tracking up close - they are quite vulnerable to melee turrets.

You may want to re-thing your evaluation of it.

You forgot incendiary band

I also have maxed out crisis on one of my accounts to go with it.

And on another 2 accounts i have maxed out defender drone

Having said all that it does not compare to the FLYING CHEAT.

You ever come up against a really good vulcan player you will see how much skill is attached to this turret.

Vulcans turret speed is pants, and like @wolverine848 said, it's tracking ability at close range makes it extremely difficult to keep it locked on to a enemy tank.

The locking on at close quarters is the skill i'm referring to, you need to be good at this if you attack like i do.

It took me awhile to get good at this, but having said that, i still sometimes get in a muddle and lose sight of the enemy.

At CQ it's the hardest turret to get used to.

You think i'm wrong then equip vulcan in your next battle and try doing what i do. It took a lot of practice, and like i said i don't get it right all the time, because it is hard to maintain, especially with a slippery wasp/hornet that can out turn you at a much faster rate, along with whatever turret they have equipped.

Vulcan is the true twins. Brick on space bar and shoot. the overheating isn't even a problem when its reload is already so fast. Didn't they nerf Vulcan a while back because of its damage issue? Where the barrel spins slowly? It needs to be as slow as back then.

Since you haven't been playing during the experiment, i believe you have no say in this. Also, this "flying cheat"? I haven't seen many Hoppers around that jump across maps as you say and we are similar ranks. So for you to condescend to me is really immature of you. I played the game for like 6 hours everyday this past month (October) just to see what you are so upset about. 

Also by the way, the caps I made are not my fault. You can blame the experiment for doubling the tank health. If you think Hopper is so broken, why don't you play it Vanilla and see for yourself?

During the hours of play, I found Hoppers fairly easy to destroy. Yes I did find some tankers with Crisis Drone fly at least one bridge length in the Bridges map, but that's clearly not as far as you depicted it to be. 

I think Vulcan is an unnecessary turret because it is the design itself. When there are like 3 Titans or Hornets equipped with Vulcans, there are little to no space to run and it always ends up ruining games and causes so many people to leave mid-game. It almost instantly counters the repair kit and has more overpowered Augments compared to the old fashioned Twins. I have no problem against Twins because of its lack of range. You may argue, Vulcan is a far ranged turret! Well, yes and no. It is meant to be lesser than that of Thunder. So if you miss, boohoo! but even at long ranges, it doesn't lose much damage/or your teammate just steals the kill! The turrets from left to right in garage, top to bottom on Wiki is in order of range class of turrets. If you want to play long range, use Railgun, Gauss or Shaft. Vulcan is not a long range turret and I still think it needs another nerf like barrel charge back to the old 2.5 seconds, or just remove. (Which I doubt)

The current version of the "game" is a Complete Failure !

Frankly, I don't know why they use the name Tanki Online - what we have now has nothing in common with the original Tanki Online, except for the badge of the game.

 

Now we have a ridiculous, pointless circus designed for halfmorons - effects, splashes, speeds, colors, etc, that  can only appeal to the simple-minded.

And finally - to get things mol in order - remove the cheats - there are far too many of them (the flying and stun cheats are my special favourites)... I can hardly live with the DA/DD/DA/RK/N2O, but all the rest is really too much an offence for any sane player - all this trash makes the game confusing, unpredictable and hence devoid of any skills, tactics and strategy and hence absolutely boring.

 

Shortly, in  order to have something that looks like a gameplay, instead of the brainless, childish shooter we enjoy now:

MUs - to be removed

ODs - to be removed

drones - to be removed

alterations - to be removed

various hilarious status effects ot what-so-ever trash - to be removed

speed - to be decreased twice (we have tanks here, not sports cars)

time of rounds - to be min 15 minutes, best is half an hour.

hulls - to be clearly diffentiated by HP and velocity

tankoins - to be removed

shaft - to be removed

magnum - to be removed

colors - to be subtled

 

That will take a lot from the devs to compensate for all the "stuff", but I personally do not see any other exodus out of this mess we've been observing for the last 3-4 years ... it hurts me to watch this agony going on bitter and bitter by the year ...

No.  That was ridiculous - 3 seconds to spin up. 

Often the Vulcan was dead before it fired a single bullet.  Targets had plenty of time to find cover.  It really was a useless turret at that time.

And it's hardly same as twins - unless you are comparing now - with 2x health and will continue to fire even with afterburn because it can afford the damage.

I doubt it now. There are drones. Every Vulcan user has a drone equipped. It is what it deserves. Will be more strategic to prepare the barrel behind cover. The game would be much better if Hammer, Twins, and Ricochet stayed as the short range turrets. Instead of camping in one spot and just have a brick on the spacebar. Magnum is kinda the same, but at least it fires only 1 projectile at a time.
