Did you guys notice the Wiki now show stats for Augments on the specific Turret/Hull's Page?

Click the Augment icon you want to see stats for, and the stat table will update to show what will change if you equip the Augment.

That’s a good thing no? Devs still got time to fix those unbearable augments without making the other half unbearable as well. And it’s not over there even some of the “alterations” need fixing

It would be nice to have something like this in game itself, or at least what each augment change: reload, damage etc. (like it was in the past), not only description of augment.

I know it's good. I prefer the "Alterations" more then the "Augments".



But it's bad that half of the so-called "augments" aren't even upgrades.

Meaning you practically wasted 245,000 crystals on something like RIcochet's Plasma-Torch if a few weeks later, you get Super Smart Minus Field, which is arguably much, much, much better as it's a true upgrade.

I think now all the turrets are balanced again, not like what was from 2019-2021. Gauss had a 90% damage of 12m, which was unreasonable and intentionally OP. But I think now after the critical damage, all of the stock turrets are balanced.

Been a years before this happening, in 2015 and such a years, there was no turret intentionally buffed, except a few buffs for some underused turrets which not makes a lot of difference.

Though I feel until now Magnum and Gauss still somehow strong, Gauss can kill a 2-3 tanks around each other. But I mean in general it's not like what it was..

For me I see there are few changes must be happen.. #1, Magnum splash damage should be reduced. #2, Gauss mid-splashdamage should be reduced. #3, Railgun should have the same damage 1745 of Gauss/Magnum with the same 10% chance of them. #4, Shaft damage should be reduced to 3000. #5, Striker's new critical damage should be retreated. #6, Isida damage should be reduced to 1000.

TOXIC TURRET

this turrets mechanism is just like the short range " firebird  and  freeze " . its a mixture of freeze and firebird . what i mean by " its a mixture of freeze and firebird " that when you press space bar to shoot it shoots out toxic gas like a flame thrower and also spraying acidic toxic flakes . which will disperse to spread further and also turn into toxic gas  , thats not it ! the longer you shoot for the further the gas reaches and stronger the toxic fog becomes and the higher the damage rate becomes.

the specialty of this turret is :

you can sit at your base and keep shooting , to maintain the fog you have to keep shooting which you can't do. to do so it will require teamwork.

HOW? if you start shooting first and when your ammunition has finished and if your teammate carries on your fog will remain there. basically you have to ask your teammate for help , mainly helpful is your trying to protect a base or a teammate . I doubt any of mine or any ones teammate will assist in doing so. forgot to mention the more ammunition used to form this toxic fog the stronger it gets.

If you want to revert that Shaft buff, you gonna at least buff HC to +40% sniper damage and LC to -15% sniper damage.

Yeah Maggy's splash damage is a bit too much.

Basically reverting the change...

My changes:

 

Firebird:

Afterburn damage reworked back to pre 2018. It now starts off high, but as your enemy burns, the damage will decrease by 10 DPS.

  • For example, 10 seconds of afterburn would look like 100, 90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10 damage for each burn tick.

To compensate, Firebird's afterburn can last longer than 10 seconds now. 

 

Freeze:

Freezing effect now slows down turret rotation speed a lot more than it does now. (Like a 60-80% slowdown)

 

Isida:

Damage reduced to 800 DPS.

Healing increased by....I'm guessing 50%. (Basically, the pre 2019 healing)

  • The current version of Isida will be changed into a new alteration called Assault Nanorobots. This alteration removes the healing ability and lets your Isida do 50% more damage, equalling 1200 DPS at Mk8.

 

Hammer:

Clip reload is increased by 1 second.

 

Twins: 

Increase projectile speed for more accurate hits.

 

Ricochet:

Increase range by 10 or 20 meters. (It's projectiles fly faster and hit harder than those of Twins does. Why do they have to have the same range?)

 

Smoky:

Congratulations, no change is needed here.....yet.

 

Striker:

Reload increased by 0.1 or 0.2 seconds. (Basically revert the recent reload buff)

 

Vulcan:

Make the overheat burning use a different code than Firebird's afterburn so we can change one thing without changing the other and messing up the game.

 

Thunder:

Increase range of maximum damage a bit. (It's got bigger and more potent shots than Smoky, I don't see why the two turrets have the same range)

 

Railgun:

Make it do enough damage so that it requires 2 hits to destroy a Wasp, 3 hits to destroy a Hunter, and 4 hits to destroy a Mammoth.

 

Magnum:

Reduce the reload. Preferably for the higher leveled modifications.

 

Gauss:

Reduce aiming recovery time to 1 second.

Increase lock-on time, or reduce damage, or increase reload.

Reduce the sniping splash radius.

Or

Give a better indicator to the target so they know a Gauss is aiming at them.

 

Shaft:

Reduce sniping damage so that a fully charged shot only has enough to destroy an equal-leveled Hunter. Nothing else higher.

 

All turrets except Smoky:

Remove critical damage

Actually I didn't liked it, when I use my Freeze to freeze them and I see they can easily get out by turning their turret as nothing happened. But honestly as it will put the MM bots at a more disadvantage and it's not explicitly noobs' advantage like if this was reversed (if turret slow down become higher than the hull slowdown) I will become really angry about that.

MM Bots? I mean some players look like bots, but I wonder if bots really exist in this game.

Came across this player in a Cross CTF today - https://ratings.tankionline.com/en/user/I_GVA_I

According to the ratings page, they are WO4 with 7 hours played in the game in total. In the match today, they were using Isida Mk3 and Titan Mk3 (with XT skins for both), four fully maxed protection modules for their rank (including Armadillo), maxed out Crisis drone, stun immunity augment for Titan and the new Vampire nanobots augment for Isida.

Before the match even starts, they were zooming across the map capturing flags, completely unstoppable thanks to an array of OP P2W gadgets. I can only imagine how many thousands this guy spent on Tanki. Pathetic.

I am so jealous of this dude now...

But, I don't mind this guy. Another man supporting Tanki. We need buyers to keep the game alive.

We also need better chances at more content for f2p. Or providing more rewards in general. Like measly 7 Ultra Containers for the amount of work we put in for 25000-50000 battle points missions. Tanki, we keep your game alive. If you want us to keep playing, give us a 1 to 1 ratio, like 25000 points, is 25 Ultra Containers. 50000 points is 50 Ultra Containers.

 

I've gotten Exotics, and status Augments (recently pulled AP Hammer from this), but not everybody is lucky.

Honestly when I saw Tanki headquarter (from Vlog) I just get stunned when I noticed it have 3 floors, and fullfeed of employees with highest cares and high PCs. Honestly I wondered how the game revenue can cover all of this.. Every developer/employee at least have a 1000-3000$.

But no problem and it's not my business to interrupt?  But when I see the current state of the HTML5 and the boring pale interface and bad physics, I thought they are just a group of employees in one apartment.

I hate how the drones are seems just a nothingness thing with just a small indicators, while they're a real game changer.

As I said a lot I play the game for many years but I left in 2019 and returned in 2020 (around 1.5 years), but I was still watching the weekly Vlogs because they were interesting. When I returned I just get stunned by the many changes especially the overdrives. BTW, I kept leveling and ranking, but I noticed that I get one-shot alot, and noticed many things that makes buyers kills me quickly. I was assuming that the difference in tank upgrades don't make this radical disparity. I wasn't give a cares about Drones, I thought they're hard to understand and wont make a huge difference.

Then after I cultured more, I noticed that the drones are the thing. Booster can give you one-shot chance with any turret, Defender give you 1.5x armor. All the drones are just giving 599GS atmost. Their shape and indicators are just too small, I don't differ between most of the drones. I just hate this thing, a hard gamechanger have the lowest appearance and signs in the game.

Now even 20/20 Brutus, can give you 3x of the power of non-drone-players. If you have 9400GS without a drone, you're much weaker than a 9999GS with a drone.

So I think Tanki must do a thing about this matter, Drones must be more obvious and must take more portion from the Gearscore.

I didn't make an overdrive rework idea...yet...

But I did make a "New Supplies" idea.

The idea converts all the drones, overdrives, Tanki X Modules/Supplies, and the EMP and AP status effects into "Supply Alterations" that you can equip. (I also threw in some new supply ideas too)

Basically, with the idea, instead of having a Repair Kit, Double Armor, Double Damage, Speed Boost, and Mine supply, you would have a...

  • Primary Supply (Ex. Repair Kit)
  • Defensive Supply (Ex. Double Armor)
  • Offensive Supply (Ex. Double Damage)
  • Support Supply (Ex. Speed Boost)
  • Special Supply (Ex. Mine)

And you would buy a new supply and equip whichever supply you would want for each type of supply.

As for bonus boxes, if you catch the Speed Boost box (which is a Support Supply Box), it would activate whatever Support supply you equipped on your tank, same goes for all other bonus boxes and their respective supply types.
