Each month = 4 and half week

each weak = 3 weekly containers = 3x8 = 24 coins

so each month (1)= 24x4 + 24x0.5 = 96 + 12 = 108 coins

Each month also = 2x challenge

each challenge = 100 + 1 weekly container = 108 coins

so each month (2) = 2 x 108 = 216 coins

total each month = (1)+(2) = 108 + 216 = 324 coins

so total free coins per month = 324

total 3 month coins save = 324x3 = 972

—————

in order get 990 coins, you need play 3 month + 1 week to get, that is 4.5x3 +1 = 14.5 weeks, less than 20 weeks, but still quite some time

Every battle feels like a DM battle. Teammates don't help you, nor do they talk to you (to be fair, half of the time they speak a different language) and it's as if you have to attack and fight alone. 

I wish we could go back to the times where teamwork would actually help you win. In old CTF battle, teammates would come along with you to attack the base, clear any enemies, you'd take the flag, they'd ensure a safe journey back, and then you could capture the flag. If you couldn't make it, they'd capture it for you. This is just one example. It still may happen, but nobody really cares about the TEAM winning, they care if they're the one at the top of the leaderboard. 

This is just something I've been feeling recently and I think that feeling of loneliness on the battlefield takes away some of Tanki's charm. Are we truly fighting with and alongside real players?

Because losing is doing nothing now, winner team and loser team does have a very close rewards. And both are finishing their missions (with exception of winning in TOP3).

Imo players should especially new players should be able to enjoy this game. i started a new acc few days ago and buyers already had premium and fully upgraded mk2's destroying me and am an experienced players now imagine new players.

If you are not using a Hopper or Paladin, don't even bother wasting your time in CTF.  You will be a spectator watching others rack up their score by capping.

And for crying out loud - NERF FREEZE ALREADY.  It does not need 400% critical damage. It was ridiculous when the Devs gave  that bonus. Now with cold somehow removing DD bonus (makes no sense at all) it's just criminal.

So how would removing the shop solve anything? You probably get placed in matches with higher ranked players. Which in return, you will see how they are obviously stronger

Hopper is trash can, so there's that. I agree Paladin is OP, nerf that. Viking still no nerf to its OD, PLEASE NERF THAT. Also, Smoky is OP now ?. It reloads so freaking fast! Makes Autocannon feel like a joke!

I suggest you to replace your hopper teala combo with smoky - viking

xd the enemy team was full but someone decided to leave.

We would have won much sooner actually but our third player just  up and while trying to be kind and give me a flag to cap it turned out to be a free return for the enemies (happened twice). We also had a couple of useless players but that's routine nowdays. Also reminding that after the GS update a lot of players GS dropped (while being around 8-9k)

Props to Hot for not using any flying hull and used gigachad Viking LC for the whole battle.

Well GS is more accurate now, even if they were 8-9k before but had a weak drone that was inaccurate - if they are 5 to 6k now that shows their true power (apart from the fact Brutus should show up as less GS than it does, as it has no additional effects). Drone is so important since the update linking it to supply power.

It seems in most battles that the game is decided by a handful (or maybe even 1 or 2) good/high GS players on each team. Multiply their relative influence by 1.5 - 2x if they are using Paladin in capture modes. So even an eSports pro probably isn't going to win with a trash team against 2 or 3 good players, even if their gear is slightly weaker. But still well done to win with Brutus though :)

yeah we had 2 paladins, but the guy had 30% protection from everything and was using Defender so ig that goes up to 50% from everything.

He was using the mega-flex 30%-against-all spectrum? Should give him 10300 gs or something :P Ouch. Well maybe that would tilt the balance, Brutus does suck though, so you were at some disadvantage there.

Paladin however is so strong compared to any other hull in CTF or RGB - 1 paladin is basically worth 2 other teammates, as I find when I use it, especially if I group with another Paladin. A nerf is coming, fun for now however lol.

Paladin however is so strong compared to any other hull in CTF or RGB, 2 paladins can take on many players at once as I often do with a friend of mine. A nerf is coming, fun for now however lol.

i do hope for a nerf asap.

Noo shhh :P I need more crystals before Christmas sales ? It is OP, though with Paladin and Hopper nerfed, I wonder if we will be able to capture anything in those big map CTF battles. Could be painful. I always hated 14v14 CTF since it was introduced, Hopper or Paladin at least made it winnable.

Paladin is very hard to fight against :) (Although turrets which deal a lot of non-critical damage in a short period of time, such as Striker on Salvo, Shaft or Gauss are probably the best counter - as well as Crusader overdrive), however without it those 12 v 12 and 14 v 14 CTF/Rugby/ASL matches would be very painful. I always maintain that 12v12 and 14v14 capture modes should be removed from matchmaking. Once Paladin is nerfed, we will be back to the situation where those battles are 15 minutes of TDM, with one side lucky to get even 1 capture, and many games ending with scores like 1-0 or a draw. Absolutely dull.

However Paladin does also make things unfair for other hulls in 10v10 and below capture mode battles, that's for sure.

I dislike current state of supplies. It makes people play passive, suboptimally and resourceful. Why? So that you don't run out of supplies so quickly. People hide and camp to not take damage and not be forced to use repair kits. Some players don't even use boosted armor and damage. Many complain about druggers but it's basic part of gameplay. Yet people blame you for playing right. You have to use supplies yourself!
 

I will be honest I'm writing this because I run out of repair kits and mines :P . But luckily I have 3 other accounts with supplies. I made multiple accounts because I know that system punishes for progressing too fast. I thought that eventually I will be playing only on one account but at the current state it's impossible.
 

I'm not mentioning batteries because thankfully Brutus drone doesn't consume them.
 

It's weird but it feels like the game wants you to play set amount of time and no more. You see what I mean? You complete daily missions and that's all. 

  • Weekly missions? If you complete dailies usually you don't need extra effort for them. 
  • Challenges? Just complete dailies. 
  • Ultra weekends? Yes only on weekends there is reason to play more because at the end you will be rewarded with supplies xD. JK sometimes you get lucky. But yea no. It's rare. 
  • But outside of that? No. It will cost you supplies and batteries so better not.

 

There is no progression after completing missions. Worse! There is penalty - loosing supplies with no return.

I like this game. It's fun. Just pointing out one thing that could be done better.

So you acknowledge that Paladin does have an obvious advantage over other hulls?

And honestly your last sentence is somehow weird,  you are expecting Paladin alone itself to dominate battles under 10v10 but above 10v10 battles Paladin is balanced because it can't dominate the full battle? For a one Paladin player!

Supplies aren't the fundamental game problem currently.. Drones are.

If you only play for finishing your daily missions and right close the game after that, repair kits should be enough for you. But any playing more than that, will make them drain quickly.

How are supplies not a problem when any playing more than daily missions will run them out quickly. Ideally I would like to play more than just a daily missions.

I mean if you compared supplies to their value in 2011-2017 approximately, they were really strong, and you can get just a very small amount of them.  Now they're no longer in that strong. Drones and Augments are the biggest game problem.
