Game rules
Upon registration the Player receives a game tank and 10 crystals. The player now able to participate in battles and fight other players.
Successful performance in battles provide the Player with experience points which determine his rank and standing, and crystals (an in-game currency). The crystals can be used for purchase of consumables, new weapons and hulls, and upgrades.

Following actions are prohibited and will lead to permanent termination or wipe of the account:

- Pretend you're a member of the Administration team.

- Use of 'swear' words or which are otherwise offensive, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable in their nicknames.

- Use of words related to drugs, sex, alcohol, or criminal activity in their nicknames.

- Use of nicknames that rouse up national hatred, have offensive national or ethnic or political component.

- Use of unapproved third party software that affects normal functioning of the game and gives unfair advantage to the player (hacks, trainers, cheats). We promote fair play!

- Abuse and distribution of the unintended game flaws (bugs). If a bug is encountered the player must report it to developers. It is a good way to help to improve the game.

- Provision of account information to any third person for so called "power-leveling" services. Power leveling is for wimps! Any action which goal is to earn experience with the help or inactivity of players from opposing team or opponent in "Deathmatch" is considered to be levelling. All participants of that process will be punished!

- Any transfer, copy, replication or distribution of the software that is directly or indirectly related to the Game.

- Any transfer, copy, replication, or distribution of any part the Game content that is copyrighted and protected by other laws, without written permission of the owner. It is possible to receive such permissions if the reasons are good.

- Sharing your account information including login and password with other players and any other third person for free, real money or in-game currency.

- Harassment of novice players (newbies): explicit offense, provision of false information, intimidation, mockery.

- Intentionally make difficulties to the team you belong to.

- Post messages where religious symbols are used to insult or abase feelings of faithful people.

As far as it is not always possible to exactly determine one or another terms of use violation the final decision always belongs to Administration.

Following actions are prohibited and will lead to temporary or permanent ban in the chat channel and forum:

- Use of offensive language (public offense of other players or developers). Remember, even seemingly harmless speech may offend sometimes.

- Use of swearing language in chat channel.

- Flood (Spam of the meaningless messages, messages that contain repeated symbols or entirely repeated messages, the flood is also considered as sending absolutely identical messages during 5 seconds since the last message was sent, or messages consisting only of meaningless punctuation symbols, letters and other gibberish and unintelligible text, messages with 5 identical symbols in succession).

- CAPS - posting messages composed of capital symbols.

- Discrimination of inexperienced players (newbies): disinformation, intimidation, ridicule.

- Discussing of moderators' and Administration' actions.

- Advertisements of trademarks, goods or services without permission of the Administration.

- Illegal actions or inciting other players to such actions (actions that are prohibited by the Russian Federation legislation, including drugs, terrorism, revolution; racial, sexual, ethnical and any forms of discrimination).

- Political propaganda or advertising in any form.

- Incite other players to the actions with negative consequences for them.

- So-called "Necrobumping" (also known as "Gravedigging") - littering of the first forum pages with outdated topics by posting new uninformative messages to them.

- Create forum nicknames similar to nicknames of Administration members or their assistants.

- Distribution of any sexual content which is not allowed for the public access. Remember children play this game too!

Violation of these and other terms of use the Player (User) can be immediately without any prior notice partially or entirely restricted from using the services provided by the Administration.
Tanki Online is not only an entertaining game but also a community of people connected with common interests. We welcome mutual respect and politeness but we do not welcome the behavior violating rights or insulting other users. The Administration of Tanki Online have rights to restrict user's communication abilities, lower his statistics and block his account if user violates these Terms of Use.

It is strictly prohibited to distribute photo and video materials with the elements of pornography in the game. It is also prohibited to post messages claiming for violence and racial, religious and any other discrimination. Demonstration and propaganda of Nazi symbols and attributes is unacceptable (Asset 20.3 «About propaganda and public demonstration of Nazi attributes and symbols» in Federal law from 07.25.2002N 112-FL edition). We warn about all these restrictions but we hope players are able to feel the limits themselves.

Moderator Policy

- Single breaches can be omitted, attention is paid to systematic ones
- At first – warning, then – gradual ban
- In special cases send private message to developers for eternal ban
- You cannot use ban for personal aims

Actions of moderators are not disputed

Administration chooses moderators among the players.
Moderator is the official who maintains the order and controls the game.

Moderator is authorized to make a warning to the player and to restrict player's communication abilities for the period corresponding to the violation and taking into account player's previous violations.

Moderator has to be honest and dispassionate in his decisions. Excessive use of moderator abilities is strictly forbidden. Every action of the moderator is being logged. If somebody of moderators will not justify the confidence he (she) will be retired from responsibility without warnings and discussions by Administration's inner decision.

Public discussions about moderators' actions are prohibited. If you think that you've got your ban without any cause you should send the pretension to help@tankionline.com. In the message you should clearly and in details describe your claim. Also it is necessary to attach chat screenshot to the letter. Attention! This letter will not be discussed too and your ban won't be canceled but we will run an administrative review of moderator' actions.

To become a moderator you should file an application in the written form through the private message to the Administration. It is necessary to specify your age, nickname in the game, your registration date in the project, the amount of time you daily spend in the game and experience of moderating other projects (please name these projects). Also you should explain why you want to moderate our game and point out any other important details which in your opinion will help you get the position of moderator.

1. General Information.

- All information located on this forum is user-generated. Messages are not checked before posting and therefore users are fully responsible for all content. All statements and opinions expressed in the forum posts belong solely to the post author.
- Posting multiple images in a row, large images ( > 500 px horizontally) as well as using excessive amount of smileys is not permitted.
- Forum users are fully responsible for any information they post on the forum.
- Moderators and Administrators have rights of regular forum users and can participate in the discussion. However, there are exceptions to this rule, for example moderation-related messages such as warnings and remarks.
- Main purpose of the moderators is to oversee the discussion and to ensure that users follow the forum rules. Moderators do this at their own discretion. This means that any decision on whether a certain post or topic breaks the forum rules is taken by moderators only. If you think that moderator’s decision is unfair, you can contact the forum administrator using PM to appeal. All decisions made by administrators and moderators are final and are not up for discussion.
- Not knowing the forum rules is not an excuse you from punishment for violating them rules. Instead, it aggravates your fault.

2. Prohibitions.

- It is prohibited to use foul language, insults (especially ones based on political orientation or race)
- It is prohibited to use URLs as part of your forum nickname.
- It is prohibited to use forum nicknames that are similar to names of moderators and administrators.
- It is prohibited to write on behalf of administration unless you are granted specific explicit permission to do that from one of the administrators.
- Forum administrators have a right to delete any message at their own discretion and without any explanations.

It is prohibited to create new topics and messages which:
- Contain rude, obscene expressions and insults in any form, as well as messages that are rude in tone and content.
- Have recently been discussed and/or have answers that can be found in information threads (Rules, FAQ, Plans, etc.). Don't forget to use the Search function to find answers to your questions – in fact, most of the questions you may have in mind have already been discussed. Be attentive and read already existing topics before creating a new one. Remember, your reluctance to use experience of others works against you. Frequent forum users are not interested in reading the repetitive topics with same questions over and over again. So don't be surprised when such topic is deleted or closed, and you're “awarded” a warning.
- Do not match the subject of the forum section. Administration has a right to move the topic, created in unsuitable section, to another one without any explanations.
- Contain ONLY CAPITAL LETTERS or MANy OF THEm in topic name or its contents. Respect other forum users, they might get an impression that you're shouting at them.
- Have decorations in the subject or description of the topic (like ==- My topic -==) .
- Contain more than three smileys in a row.
- Have uninformative topic name or description (such as “Help!” or “Please read!”)
- Please try to express the essence of your problem in the topic name and provide as much detail as possible in the message body. The better job you do at describing problem, the more likely you are to get a response.
- It is absolutely forbidden to publish any calls to break the existing law code of the Russian Federation. Publication of any information about unlicensed software (including links) is prohibited; any materials of political, religious or racial nature can be published only after obtaining an appropriate permission from the forum administrators.
- It is forbidden to publish any information that is deceptive, known to be false, vulgar or insulting in nature.
- It is forbidden to use ‘dishonest’ conversation methods, such as pretending to be another user, editing/deleting your own messages to distort their initial sense; to provoke forum users to violate the rules.
- Any form of advertising is forbidden unless you have an explicit permission form the administration.
- Rude, vulgar expressions and insults are prohibited. Swear words/expressions are permissible only if they are stylistically needed, e.g. in quotes, and if they are not directed at other Forum users. But in this case you should replace no less than two symbols in the word root by other ones that are not similar looking. Don't forget that the notion of ‘stylistic need’ is judged by moderators and their evaluation can differ from yours. If you do not agree with Moderator's judgment, you can appeal to an administrator.
- Unnecessary quotations of large texts, previous messages and/or images are prohibited.
- It is forbidden to continue discussion of subjects that were contained in topics that were previously closed by administration. To contact the administration, use email, ICQ, private messages and etc.
- Pointless information carrying no meaning, as well as information irrelevant to the topic of discussion is prohibited. For flooding, please use the designated forum section.
- If you need to publish a large image, please use the attachment function.

3. Punishments

- All punishments are at the discretion of forum moderators and administrators..
- The user can receive one or more warnings for each violation of the forum rules, or the user can be temporarily blocked.
- In case of repeated or gross violations the user's account can be blocked for a long period of time or deleted.

Hello!

I am not new to this game, since I have been playing since 8/23/2012

But....replying to this topic is a great choice.

So..Here is how to become a moderator and the details (below)

You must fill in an application to become any type of moderator for a security check. After reading the instructions, you must be honest about filling in your form. If you would like to become a chat moderator, you must confirm that you are at least over 21 years of age. You also have to be the rank of Captain, and if you don't know what it looks like, it is the 4 yellow diamonds.
