Because there is no topic for skins, I have placed my idea in the garage topic 

I think many of us have a skin that we don't really like. That is why i suggest we can trade skins while I have a skin that I don't like, someone else might and the same the other way around. However you must be brigadier rank or higher to do so.

Obviously won't be a free feature. If implemented, I'm guessing at least one of the players would have to pay 20-50% of the skin's price in order to trade it for another.

@Maf i think having to pay 20-50% of the skin's price is ridiculous. Isnt XTs of equal value as it stands? This should be an even trade in it self. Or instead of having to pay you should just add a restriction.Turret skins can only be traded for Turret skins and same for hulls. Why should one have to pay 20-50%? Elaborate

In case one doesn't have the skin they wish to have, they need to purchase them from the Shop, which gives Tanki revenue. On the other hand, if people just trade skins for free instead of buying them, it's a great loss for the game. Hence the 20-50% payment requirement. 

Although I doubt whether trading of skins is ever going to be made possible, given that people won't purchase bundles or buy the skins at full price if they're available for much less. Already it has been made impossible to get a skin for free from Challenges; and if one does buy the battle pass, they get an XT container that won't necessarily give them what they want.

This really needs to be in game. Skins give no stat boosts, only ego boosts. If players already have a skin, it was already hard earned or paid. Maybe an medium difficulty trade token system would be a good addition. Trading skins would be really simple as it pleases both sides of the traders.

sir if they do what tanki X was like , we got to be able to wear 2 different skins at once. in away it was cool on some tanks .. but then at times it look weird. so give it time and they will change this . to be able to cash in on skins in garage not many want to cause ..sure there not that great but over time some of them wont be around ever again.

At least make it crystals to pay with and not tankoins. 100.000 crystals for example would be a great deal, im tired of having a skin for a turret/hull that i barely use.

Also: add an option similar to this to avoid the abuse of the feature: you can only trade skin, for example, once every month. if not month, then for a specific amount of time, you won't be able to trade again. Even when the time comes when you can trade again, you will not be able to trade the skin you acquired from previous trade. Sounds like a good thing to implement in the game but i dont see it happening.

Hello Tanki Online! I'd like to talk to you about a new Trade System, it can be like a new update that you can trade SKINS, TANKOINS, CRYSTALS, PAINTS, DRONES (CRISIS DRONE ONLY), AND ANY TYPES OF CONTAINERS. I think that that can be good, for example, in a trade with a animated legendary paint, in the Trade System in HTML5 version of tanki online, you can buy legendary paints for tankoins, for example you buy spectrum for 16000 tankoins and they can't be tradable, because you buy it from garage, or also if you buy it from the shop they can't be tradable, but if you get containers for free in the missions or special missions they can be tradable, the tradable paints can be for only if you get it from the containers, also with skins (XT, Legacy, Prime Skin, Ultra Skin) and the tradable items can be also if you get it from Promo Codes (thats an example). So my point about this is that you can get tradable items only things that you get it for FREE ONLY! 

And what you can do to invite to trade is:

• Invite a friend to group, wait till the friend acepts, the friend joins, and one of the both can press the name, and press "invite to trade".
• Another way is that you can directly invite a friend to trade in the friends section.

TRADABLE SKINS:

• When you get it from Promo Code
• When you get it from any type of Containers.
• When you get it from Missions or Special Missions.

UNTRADABLE SKINS:

• When you buy it from Shop (Tankoins or real money (HTML5 version only)).

TRADABLE TANKOINS:

• When you get it from Container (Coinboxes, and weekly containers).
• When you get it from Missions or Special Missions.
• When you get it from Promo Codes.
• When you buy it from Shop (real money).
• When you get it from Rewards (free).

TRADABLE CRYSTALS:

• When you get it from Missions or Special Missions.
• When you get it from Containers (exept XT Container).
• When you get it from Promo Codes.
• When you buy it from Shop (real money or tankoins).
• When you get it from Rewards (free).

TRADABLE PAINTS:

• When you get it from Containers (exept XT Container).
• When you get it from Promo Code.
• When you get it from Missions or Special Missions.

UNTRADABLE PAINTS:

• When you buy it from Shop (Real money or Tankoins).
• When you buy it from Garage (Tankoins or Crystals).

TRADABLE DRONE (CRISIS):

• When you get it from Container (Ultra Container).

TRADABLE CONTAINERS:

All the containers that are bought from the shop with tankoins or real money canot be tradable, also if you open a container that are bought with tankoins canot be tradable, because they are BOUGHT FROM THE SHOP! All of this items, needs price, so user (players) in Tanki Online, can buy more, because i think that Tanki Online, needs also a page of prices, for example a guy wants Flow paint (price: 14000 Tankoins in HTML5 version) BUT THEY AREN'T TRADABLE IF THEY BUY IT FROM GARAGE, so people who got Flow paint for free i think that they want more than 14000 Tankoins, because not much players have Flow paint as any animated paints, so the player that wants Flow paint for trade later, the guy who wants Flow paint, buys 14500 Tankoins so he buys it from the guy who has the Flow paint, and then that 500 Tankoins that you get, is in real money to Tanki Online. And i would like that this can be in Flash version and in HTML5 version.

Hope that you agree with me, because i want to make a better game to Tanki Online, help to make Tanki get more money, and to help people that want that items that some one has dreamed, best wishes for Tanki Online and to the whole people who plays and read this. I apreciate your atention, thanks!

what about people who created alt accounts this will just make them get all the skins in the game. i have 8 atls in another game where trading is the main feature and im super rich in it and have every trade able item. this will just break the game and take the focus of playing away. 

 

although i do like this feature as myself i have only 1 XT Skin and its for shaft, my shaft is mk3 id rather it be for smoky as that is my primary weapon 

i hope this  feature get implemented in a way that wont break the game or turn the focus away from playing the game.

Skins are cosmetic and don't offer any gameplay advantage, so why does it matter if someone will be able to get them all of them on an alternate account?

For the price of 500 tankoins. Both players have to pay 500 tankoins to make the trade of skins. Perhaps you have to be friends with someone in order to make such a trade.

I think that paying this with crystals wont work. It will have to be a premium currency for this to happen or tanki wont allow it. Maybe 200 tankoins each and since more trading features will probably be released ( probably for shot effects and paints ) a number will be made for that. Players also need to understand that tanki cant help them if they get * scammed * . A gifting system for more tankoins i would also like

We could make like only a trade for XT's and/or paints only, i will later posts some photos of how will trade system will be (i will edit all with photoshop), it's like we all have an inventory of items, it's like rocket league trade, the credits in rocket league are the tankoins in tanki online, you could make like FOR EXAMPLE:

i give: Hornet XT skin

his offer: Flow paint + 300 tankoins
 

and then they both acept, i don't know if anyone will agree with this, but this could be a great idea for this game

I'm afraid this idea should not be considered because it could cause very bad legal problems with the upcoming stricter ideas on lootboxes and so in EU countries and the US. Tanki is already banned in NL/Belgium and one of the main criteria governments are looking at is games which allow randomly obtained items that can be traded (and thus people could pay each other real money to obtain them, even if that is prohibited by the games terms/conditions this is irrelevant as it can be done privately). Therefore this could lead to Tanki having an increased risk of being banned in more countries - these laws are being reviewed currently in the EU.

So for this reason, trading of items in game, especially those obtained from random chance purchasable items (containers) is a no-go.
