Well, that's not quite the case. The programming has worked out well (at least Hazel said so) and Ares could have been added long since in HTML5, but since that would require wasting resources in the form of coding in Flash too, it has been decided to wait until Flash is completely discontinued. Much more convenient; and the time and resources can be diverted to improve the HTML5 version for a more quick transition.

Like I said, I figured that my explanation was the case, so I didn't know about this side of the story.

Thanks for the A2A though.

So from what I've gathered, the new tank relies on some kind of programming mumbo-jumbo that makes it near impossible to code in Flash. However, it seems to be possible to do in HTML5, which is why I'm expecting it to go out just a bit after or maybe even with the HTML5 client.

Just keep waiting and let the devs do their job. I know they don't have the best reputation, but that really shouldn't be a reason for us to pelt them relentlessly about new updates.

Oh, okay. I thought you meant that Ares hadn't been added yet because it hadn't been coded or couldn't be coded, but actually it can't possibly be used in the game if it doesn't even exist for those playing on Flash. Lol, imagine an HTML5 player taking his Ares out for a spin and crashing all those Flash players outta the battle. ?
