nope,  my standards are different than yours. i have topped in many battles with each of my turrets and hulls and alterations.  Even if an enemy with GS of 9000 comes and wreaks havoc to my team i can just choose a better combo and get some points and a star. ( and hopefully destroy that enemy when he is about to use his O.D; that is a real pleasure).

i said with skill and luck i can get 1-2 stars each game, 9 games out of 10 you will top score on your team, even when getting steamrolled.

Fair enough, you can play casually.  I am a more competitive person when it comes to games, so I do find it important to top every battle.  

I cannot change into another combo because I cannot afford it, or I don't want to play with a disadvantage of 3k GS every single match.

I dont care at my current level. At some point I will get picky, but right now I am regularly the only one with GS 0 in battles. Any mk2 kit will give me a fighting chance. I do have like 7k crystals...it blows me away how big the rewards are now compared to when I started two years ago...as far as crystal rewards, so far tanki is insanely generous...just gotta slow down while I wait for a kit.

Had you started on the mobile version, with the supply boxes, extra rewards per battle (if you watch the video), beginner's parade and guaranteed all 3 crystal-reward missions, along with the general rewards from Challenges and Weekly Missions, it would be highly unlikely to not have 100k by the time you reach WO1. [Even if you do buy 2 or 3 combos like I do and upgrade them to the next level.] And no, you don't need to be top 3 always to do this (better not ruin the experience of new players).

I have to agree to the P2W theory of this game, even though it hurts me to do so. When I started playing this game, I couldn't stop. But as said before, it has it's ups and downs, even then. But it just got worse after that. Every new update added something new that required money, or something was added that was purely exotic and doesn't really improve your skills, and that still cost money. I mean, for example, $99.99 dollars for a XT skin and 100,000 crystals sounds like one of the biggest rip offs I've ever heard of. It I had $99 I wouldn't go waste it on a game like this, at least not anymore. To get any benefit from this game you have to buy, no question about it. With every new update there is something else that need money to get. Look at Tankoins, for example. You need them to buy kits, but they are expensive. Now, there's nothing wrong with this, except for the fact that I used to be able to get a lot for $26 (approximately) but now I have to spend double that price on Tankoins to get that kit. It's just really, really horrible greed on behalf of the Developers. That is the real reason, @Maf, that players leave this game - because they don't want to waste their money on a lost cause, and because they would be a lost cause without buying. When Tanki 2.0 comes out I hope they don't make the same mistakes. Tanki would have to go back so far to fix all the harm they've done. The way their going, Tanki is just going to end up right where Tanki X did, so the Devs are just trying to get as much money as they can from people before they disappear. And when they do, good riddance. I don't even know why I even bother playing this game.

And guess what - I just checked the new missions topic in News and Announcements, and one if these "special missions" was "Get Premium" - I mean, what the heck? It's so sad, and makes me angry at the same time. I try not to get angry, but it's really hard when I see something like the "Get Premium" mission. They are literally encouraging you to buy. They say "You'll get rewards from these missions" but you're rewarding them more then them rewarding you. Just so angry...

To get any benefit from this game you have to buy, no question about it. 

This is how every game should monetize....you dont need skins, so make skins expensive so players who have money can buy them without getting an advantage over others. $99 for a vulcan skin is an amazing thing to do. I wont buy it, but someone might and good for them.

Can't you just get premium from containers? And since it's a one-time mission, you can only get the reward once so it doesn't matter if you complete it tomorrow or a year from now.

I get it multiple times a year from free-earned containers. So the likelihood doesn't matter - as long as you get it once at some point, you've done the mission. Even if you don't get it, I doubt the rewards are particularly impressive. Maybe 3000 crystals or something, so not exactly something you'd hate to miss out on.

It was P2W years ago.  The only difference between then and now is what you get when you pay.

I have yet to pay and I have 1 account at L5 and the other at Lt. Gen.  Win some and lose some.

P2W might give you better chance at top-3 spots and more variation in equipment, but it's not a guarantee for overwhelming success.

Actually I take it back. The "Get Premium" mission is literally just the daily reward you get while Premium Account is enabled, so you can claim it every day if you have Premium. Nothing has changed at all in that regard, except for reducing the amount of pop-ups you get when logging in.

Previously, we used to get the extra daily rewards from Premium if we had it before the server restart. Which meant that after claiming a day of Premium, you could only get the rewards on the next day.

Is it possible now to claim Premium and get rewards right then (be it of whatever duration) along with the next day?
