tanki online can you make alterations for tank but the alteration are the overdrives for example i like to use my viking but i like hornets overdrive so that you when u buy viking u get the viking overdrive but that you can buy the hornet over drive on your viking for so a 100 k. because i love to use my viking its look nice but i really love hornets overdrive. maybe u can liek put rank on it that u need to be a brigadier before u can change the alteration and maybe i know a skin u can make for the mk7 tanks just same as the old m3. now only now the tanks are grey cant you guys make mk6 m3 with grey and mk7 like m3 but then with blac iron and not grey.

Overdrives are each hull's unique ability that's meant to create more diversity between the hulls. Making it possible to switch them around between hulls would defeat the main purpose of the feature.

It also makes gameplay more random and unpredictable, reducing the dependence on skill. Right now if I see a Hunter I know it's best to keep enough distance in case he has OD, and I know I need to target Mammoths during gold drops to prevent them using their OD, but with replaceable overdrives I'd never know which enemy tank can disable me or kill me by contact, so it would be extremely frustrating.

Well said. The only problem with this is that some overdrives are just better than others. Hornet, which was already one of the most popular hulls, received the best overdrive and some like mammoth/wasp that were less common, received worse overdrives. Hunter and Dictator are probably the places where they took a unused hull and gave it a new use

Maybe a different view on this idea - giving OD's alterations, same thing with turrets. These hull alterations would alter the way Overdrives work and how they react to other OD's. 

For example, a Viking OD alteration that takes away the damage boost but lengthens the time the OD is active for (or vice versa). Or a Titan OD alteration that shortens the OD activity time but brings back its healing aspect. Not sure how this would work out in practice but it could have potential.

I don't agree with you. Hornet has a poweful overdrive, but it isn't the strongest, and for example, now, dictator OD is as strong as hornet od.

I said hunter's OD and Dictator's Od are good ones. Idk tho, a hornet with its OD constantly active is incredibly oppressive, altho it is a direct counter to titan domes, so maybe it needs to stay
