If you're confused about what someone said, you can just ask what they mean and they'll likely tell you. Just like if you dislike what someone said, why not tell them what you don't like? Is that not why the dislike button was removed in the first place?

And of course the only ones who disliked this are helpers.

if your confused about what some one said, you can just put on a Confused reaction, really dont see a reason for it not to be there. I might be wrong, but perhaps you are the only one that takes offense to the confused reaction. Its a reaction after all, and everyone can use it, just so your feel offended by it doesn't  mean it will be removed for everyone.

The main problem is, you can't really quote that reaction or tag the person just because they gave a reaction to your post. If someone intends to clarify a doubt, they quote the statement and ask the question. But if they want to annoy the person by marking their statement as vulgar or making no sense, they use the confused button.

For example, here no one asked Diesel to clarify a doubt but used the confused button to humour (or humiliate?) him.

I think what was meant by this post is that the Confused reaction is being used as a sort of dislike button, which is making it ambiguous when the emote is used. "Is this person genuinely confused or just trying to dislike that post?"

At the end of the day, the confuse emoji is as it suggests itself. Players are free to use any reaction on any sort of post, whether be it for a genuine reason or simply as a joke,

if the idea were to change the icon of the confused reaction it might have been valid since i too feel it doesn't quite accurately represent being confused.

This is why we need to be able to react to reactions.  When someone reacts with confusion, we can confuse their confusion so everyone is confused.  Confuseception.

1) then why was the dislike button removed all those years ago? Explain that if you can.

2) so talking facts and having proof to backup my claim is now considered "being offended"? Nice made up vocabulary you have there.

I think as long as you post in that topic you should be able to give a negative reaction. You just need to have more dialouge.

I agree you should be able to quote a reaction, but they need to remain so players see what the majority of forumers really think of your topic.

The confused reaction literally provides no feedback. All it does is show that people are using it. We don't know if they're actually confused or using it as a dislike button.
