Changing equipment in the battle

When you change equipment in the battles, self-destruct activates. Thats ok, but for example, when you equip/unequip a drone, why do you have to self destruck?

My idea is that when you are in a battle and

- change a hull/turret ->self destruck

-equip (/unequip) a drone-> it just equips, like when the charging time is over

-change a paint-> yoir paint will be changed when you will next rime respawn (no self destruck because it is only a cosmetic feature)

-change a protection module -> there can be a setting where you can choose that you self destruct or it changes when you next time respawn.

its quite un-logical to be changing Drones without having to self destruct. Similarly with protection modules and paint, since they alter the characteristics of the tank. It would be really unrealistic to not to self destruct since your changing features of your tank and it isn't quite supposed to pop up from thin air, tanki follows proper physics, even when your tank is destroyed in a battle and you switch to the garage and change equipment, you spawn with the new one. i dont intend to mean that tanki is a war simulator, but like all games, they should have realisticity. The idea you suggest takes away that realistic element from the game.

What about just not self destructing and having it equipped on next death

Yes, thats what i want for paints....

Really don't see a point in complicating a simple system, other than that, why would you wait till you are destroyed if you want to equip something right away? you could be destroyed then pause and head over to the garage and change. its a really simple system.

Well, before HTML we could go to the garage as we died and make changes without taking a second death.

And why is it "logical" to need to die anyway?  We don't know in advance what map we will be on - so - it's possible we have the wrong gear for the map RANDOMLY assigned.  It seems perfectly logical to me to get a free garage visit to adjust equipment to the map without taking an un-needed death.

Aight, an update just to save a death? how more convenient do you want the game to be? ?

could be valid if the ideas was as you suggested '' equipment change without destructing(only once) before 2 minutes or smth'' But this idea is more of having to change equipment at any time and always with out destructing.

It's both.

It's a 7-minute battle.  Anyone visiting garage multiple times is just hurting themselves and their team.  That in itself is a handicap.

It would be nice to still be able to actively engage in battle while waiting for the garage to load.

You just trying to find any possible reason to demean the self destructing to change system ?

Well, in a 7-minute battle, you can either change your paint, module, turret, hull or alterations. One would visit the garage for one or three of these, now the cool down of changing to another equipment is 3 minutes, so practically you get to visit the garage 2 times in a normal MM battle, if a player decides to stay in garage then load back in the game and again go to garage for no reason whatsoever, its as good as sabotage ( inactivity) and battle moderators are out there for those sort of players.

tell me about it? lets see, considering our normal Pc's have 1 keyboard and 1 mouse, and we humans have two hand, how exactly would you go about changing your equipment while still playing?

That's not what he meant. If the pre-load garage feature is implemented, you can keep on playing while the garage loads, and when it has loaded you can quickly change your equipment. This way you don't waste your time sitting in front of the garage loading screen.

I don't see why tanks need to self-destruct when changing equipment. It is our tank, we should be able to switch equipment easily, especially that now we don't simply know which battle we are going to be placed if playing challenge. MY suggestion is at least if you change color, than have it change in the game, don't have us self sedrtuct because of that. I am a shaft, I hid, camp, try not to be visible. One game I am in the winter mode, so I wear white. the next game turns out to be in the summer - I am visible as a sour thumb. I then lose time over changing equipment. By the way, it often take time to go back to the garage and return to the game.

You realize that emoti loses it's impact when repeated, right?

Yes you can visit garage 2x during a 7-min battle.  And that can take up 1-3 minutes of time during this short 7-minute battle. That in itself is a penalty - missing up to 3 min of battle.  So you missed my point.

On top of that it'll give you a notification that tells you that it's done loading and you can go into the garage without any problem.
