What would make the HTML5 version awesome FOR YOU?

HTML5 sürümünü sevmiyorum çünkü arayüzü iyi değil. Flash sürümünün arayüzü diğer oyunlardan farklı ve kullanışlıydı. HTML5 sürümü standart bir arayüze sahiptir. Tanki Online oyununu ne kadar farklı ve benzersiz yaparsanız o kadar iyidir. Hep aynı tür oyunları oynamaktan sıkıldım. Ayrıca, kamera davranışı Flash sürümüyle aynı olmalıdır.

I like the html5 version only a few points of criticism

With some weapons I notice that the camera does not work well, such as firebird and freeze, and I do the gold box in the middle that it is clearer, I think the html5 version top

The camera is really weird in HTML5. Personally I'm a Railgun player and accuracy is really important to me. I've developed my accuracy for years in the Flash version, and every time I play HTML5 my accuracy goes down by 50%. I don't know what's causing this, but I might actually want to play HTML5 if it had the same camera mechanics as Flash.

Also, clan tags should be visible in battles, and in the General chat I don't like how the entire name of the clan is shown instead of just the tag.

 

However, HTML5 has some good points too, like how enemies get outlined in red if you're going to hit them.

These are the biggest issues i've encountered or been told by others. if you could fix these that would be INCREDIBLE ?

- Garage is rather unorganized… not organized by mk as old client was

- Cant see game from quick garage

- Quick garage does not pause game, the user keeps spawning and dying while changing equipment

- Displays kills and deaths differently. e.g. 10 kills and 2 deaths would show 10/2 for kd, not 5/1 or 5.00

- Can't see what battle friends are in from friends list

- funky camera movement

- seeing outline of tanks behind walls and bushes is OP, and makes the hornets OD less useful in that regard

- Team colors are inversed in HTML and Flash versions. So 2 teammates on different versions(1 flash, 1 html) are different colors(1 red, 1 blue) despite being on the same team. Mostly a problem for video making with multiple POVs

  • Playing Freeze/Firebird on HTML5 is annoying, on Flash you are able to hit as many tanks with those turrets at once but with html5 you can only hit one tank, otherwise you won't deal any damage whatsoever. It gets really frustrating when you're trying to kill a bunch of tanks with your viking overdrive + firebird/freeze but you're not even harming them at all. This needs to be fixed and as a HTML5 player, I'd appreciate it a lot, because I want to use those turrets more often again.

A few in no particular order:

 

- Can't access mission status during battle...am I supposed to get DA or DD?  Very inconvenient.

- Difficult to see CP points fill up, especially blue...more contrast is needed

- If you are on red it is harder to determine the blue enemy because the the red/black health bar...an almost dead teammate looks like a blue...contrasting colors like in Flash would be better

- Hard to tell your own health in red  since the dark gray fades into the paint color...contrasting red would be better

- Font too small on kill board...can't see icons or read stats

- Font in garage is much too small....lots of unused space, why such micro-fonts?  Icons also too small. (hull/turret icons, paint pics, etc)  Almost impossible to read upgrade prices...it's like a 6 point Ariel.  Upgrade stats difficult to read also.   Garage is unpleasant and cumbersome to navigate.

- From "Missions" screen I'd like to be able to see my name, rank, if I have Premium or not, and how many stars I have accumulated...just like in Flash

- Can't copy names to clipboard from real-time action menu/tab menu/who-did-what-menu

- In game chat is distracting. it should not disappear so quickly.  Best would be an on/off option in settings.

- Get rid of the "red team captured point B" and make the point icons in the center (point A, B, C, etc) larger so they can be seen more easily

- Rank indicators are too small on tab menu...actually all the fonts are too small

- HTML doesn't show crystal total when in battle...minor but still a nice feature of flash

- Mk display in garage for individual turrets/hulls only works for Mk1  why not display MU level for Mk2-Mk7? (maybe this was just a glitch?)

- Battle List needs to have the ability to make it default instead of going to lobby after exiting a battle...too much time to load battle list

- Get rid of the auto-resort for daily missions.  After you complete a mission just let that space be where it is instead of snap shifting the remaining missions to the left...makes it easy to make mistakes like accidentally clicking "change mission"

- Battles still end to abruptly and jarringly...it would be nice to linger in the battle scene or a welcome substitute would be to allow chat after the battle while still looking at the kill or score board

- Movement has improved but still causes slight nausea or dizziness...kind of like slight seasickness or car sickness.  Seems to cause much quicker eye fatigue.

- The movement after being killed is bad.  The camera follows your back end being raised quickly and dropped...seasick move

- The lobby is inconvenient with too many fiddly clicks.  The flash lobby is highly superior.   If you are looking at hulls/turrets/etc you are six clicks and all their loading times away from a battle queue if you check your daily missions...way too fiddly.

- Why does the lobby now seethe like you are on are on a rolling sea...stupid, pointless, unrealistic...seasick move

- Personally I think the radar is pointless at best and distracting at worst (make it an off/on option in settings)

- The OD display is much too large

- The who-did-what-to-who display is now too large (make it an off/on option in settings)

- The in-battle chat font is now too large...unless it becomes and option to turn on and off in settings.

- If the outlines of enemies behind walls are still part of HTML, I would prefer to see them gone.  The minimal ability to hide behind a wall is one of the few strategic features left in Tanki

- Firebird and Freeze seem to only damage one tank at a time, not neighboring tanks.  I get about half the score in HTML as Flash...every time.

- Names above tanks went from microscopic to gigantic.  Names have greater visibility now than the tank itself.  You have defined the spectrum now adjust the font to something in the middle.

There are many more problems that make HTML less than Flash.  Overall movement and visibility are the biggest problems.  Visibility should be an easy fix...more color contrast, larger fonts.  The third big problem is the lobby/garage interface...why not emulate what you developed over the last 10 years in flash...why re-invent the wheel?

I have been waiting for a post like this, since I have some ideas as to how to make the HTML version better. 

One if the things is the camera movement. When you turn your turret, the camera doesn't move completely in tact with the turret, which can be annoying in some scenarios, since that's what we are used to in the flash version, because it can cause the player to turn their turret for a longer time, thinking it hasn't moved enough, but then realizing it has moved too much, it's just the camera that doesn't follow immediately.

Next, you could perhaps change the way you invite friends to a battle. In the flash version, you click on the friends tab, and then there is a list of your friends there, and you can invite anyone with just two clicks. In the html version, it's a bit more complicated. You have to press esc, select the friends tab, which would be fine, but then you have to manually search for your friends that you want to invite, and you have to type in at least two letters for the green "invite" tab to appar. This i a process that can take a longer time, especially if you want to invite multiple friends. I think it would be better if you had the same system, where you could just click on a "friends" tab, the same way as in flash, and you could select the friends by clicking on them, and invite them.

My numeric keypad (number keys to the right of the keyboard) do not work in HTML5

My Right Shift key does not work in HTML5 (left shift key works)

The graphics are more crude than in flash (I use the downloaded flash application) and the tanks feels almost cartoon like

I don't like the way enemy tanks are outlined when targeting them. Personally I find this distracting.

I don't like the radar, personally I find it distracting and not useful (I am always watching for tanks and never focus on the radar).

This needs to go.  It makes long-range turrets even more potent, and camouflage paints useless.

1- In-battle notifications take too much of the screen space.

2- The camera moves in a weird way.

3- The turrets alterations do not show up when pressing V or R.

4- Overall, the interface is not user friendly. This is why the Flash version is way better.

  • The interface is rather ugly.
  • Wasted interface space. Especially when opening Containers.
  • Some parts of the interface are too intrusive (supplies, overdrive charge, radar, battle chat).
  • Some parts are not intrusive enough (X person/team has taken the flag/ball/point, Which team has which Control Point)
  • Too many clicks/button pushes for various places.
  • Text in Main Chat is too small.
  • Rank icons are somewhat obscure when you press Tab. Rank icons in Flash are cut-and-dry, using one or two shades per color, while HTML5 tries to make the rank icons look shiny, which doesn't translate well to a tiny icon.
  • Can't see Alterations when you press Tab.
  • Can't check mission progress during the battle.
  • Camera movement is too slippery.
  • The beam of light when you rank up looks less grand and exciting.
  • The beam of light when you open a Container looks more dull and boring.
  • Everything's way too bright. There should be an option for muted colors. What I mean by this is, Flash has an option called Dynamic Shadows. Enabling it makes it as bright as HTML5. Disabling it gives everything a lower tone, which is easier on the eyes.

Can we even use that to "ignore" players anymore?  Have tried, and nothing happens when I click/right-click the username from Tab...

HTML5 needs more smaller self-distraction button on the screen, also supplies on the bottom are huge, make them smaller,  menu is trash, everything is hard to find. Split mobile and PC players, cus it is hard to play with mobile, improve mobile interface, i can't turn around turrets, so change buttons on the mobile screen. Bring back  crystal boxes in the game, make something new gold version, every year events are same mostly, there is no balance in game, if you are donator, u are able to have m7k tanks on warrant officer it's disgusting. Make x2 fund and x2 gold boxes together as 5 years ago.  I've more ideas, but its enough to change at this moment.

- more laggy
- special mission are not special..!!!??? Kinda pointless to have, if they are not special.
- Rader - why??? Remove it from game, so we can play real TANKI...!!!
- Shop/garage is bad compare to flash - flash is simpel and good
- Gold box notice is not in the middle of screen
- In flash "cap flag", the flag colour flash/blinks when its taken - its missing in HTML5

1.Too many things on screen, like radar and loading bar for flags.

2. Camera doesn't feel the same. Extra movement is annoying.

3. Idk if just me but picking maps in html5 is harder than on flash.

4. If your aim is on tank and it gets red outline, make it more bold or just remove it. 

5. Html5 client is complicated in design imo. Flash is very simplistic. 

6. Cant see whats going on in battle when using html client.

Suggestions and improvements

  • Be able to chat after a battle ends during the results screen.
  • Be able to press R and V to see others modules and GS.
  • Add chat mod icons for chat mods in the chat.
  • Add the gifts.
  • Don't cover crystals and Tankoins during a MM search.
  • Make spaces between every third digit of the number crystals or Tankoins.
  • Add the possibility to turn on or off the battle interface for screenshots.
  • When creating a custom battle, the custom options should all be in the same screen.
  • Add the ability to view all Mk unlock ranks, and prices for upgrades like in flash.
  • In rugby mode don't show the color notification of passing the ball in Orange, reserve it for the gold box only.
  • Make the gold box notification more noticeable.
