What would make the HTML5 version awesome FOR YOU?

It is a projection from devs ... They believe that they're experienced, even tho never played it alas.

 

When your devs have the nerve to criticize the messenger (forum/comments) the game better be successful. Everything devs do is projection, like saying 'We make threads and proceed complaining about our job, great success in answering criticism eh?'.

I love everything about HTML5 except that it refuses to put me in a battle.

This is the general order of events that happens:

- I open HTML 5 client of tanki

- I click quick battle and the timer starts counting up

- It finds a battle and changes screens to the battle loading screen

- I stay on that loading screen for 3-4 minutes 

- It loads the battle with less than 2 minutes left

- I go back to flash version because I can't win in just 2 minutes

Please do not add the new alteration for gauss or try coming up with something new. This Gauss new alteration needs a heavy/medium penality damage since they make the Dictator alteration useless, the over drive for Hunter already disables supplies with a cooldown but the Gauss alteration being able to disable supplies without a cooldown is too overpowered and will disrupt the balance of the game because Gauss is already powerful as it is.

A.  The point indicators are too small and are difficult to follow when they bounce from side to side and middle.  They are much better in flash where they are stationary, larger, higher contrast, and fill with the color of the team as they are captured, they mimic the points themselves.  When you make the interface at 75% (much better) the point indicators become almost microscopic and just about useless.

 

B. The Points themselves are too washed out and too hard to see.  They need a lot more contrast or saturation like they have in flash.  HTML points can easily disappear against the background.

 

C. The health bar is much better in Flash with two similar colors, one darker and one lighter.  It is not as easy to gauge your health in HTML because of poor contrast.  If you are on red it is harder to determine the blue enemy because of the red/black health bar...an almost dead teammate looks like a blue.  It's harder to tell your own health in red since the dark gray fades into the paint color....contrasting colors like in Flash would be much better

 

D.  At 100% these are difficult to read because of poor contrast.  At 75% they are almost impossible to read.  So in HTML they only clutter the screen.  If they are necessary at all, they need a back screen (as on E), or higher contrast.  A terrific option would be the ability to turn them off completely in settings.

 

E. The Grammar Police are reading you your rights as I type this.  

            Allies have lost point C                     (not has)
            Enemies have captured point C        (not has)

This would be another great thing to be able to turn off/on in settings.

 

F.  I want to  be able to access my daily/weekly missions while in battle.  I know you devs think omitting this very convenient feature will motivate players to complete battles since you tried this previously.  But it is one of the many things that make the HTML version inferior and much less enjoyable than the Flash version.  Access to missions is a very important part of completing missions.  I want to know how many more boxes or even what kind of box I'm concentrating on or how my score is coming along..   When I do play in the HTML version, I quit a much higher percentage of battles to check my mission progress.

 

G.  I'd like to see a graphic representation of my XP just like in Flash...an XP bar.  Numbers alone are not very helpful.  I would also like to see my crystal balance and number of stars just like in Flash.

What I just can not understand why HTML was changed so drastically.  Ten years of developing Flash and the features of Flash tossed out the window, then the devs want to know what is wrong with HTML and why few players like it.  We want HTML to look. feel, and have at least the same features as Flash.  I can't find even one single thing that is better in HTML...absolutely none of the things added in HTML have helped the game in terms of players or the overall gaming experience in Tanki.  I can fine dozens of things that have been made inferior to the Flash version.  Why?????

The font is too small which makes it more difficult to read, especially at a glance during a battle.  Rank icons and defense icons are also too small making them mostly pointless...especially at a glance during a battle.

Overall this entire Pause screen is much less convenient and much more fiddly than the Flash version where all these functions were done by hotkey or a single icon click from the battle screen.  If it stays in the HTML version it could use an overhaul.

A.  The font is much too small which makes it more difficult to read.  There is plenty of space...at least make the time itself larger.

B. This would be better accessible from the battle interface just like in the Flash version, or make a hotkey for it like has been done with Garaqe (G) and Back to Battle (P).  The hotkey would also need to have an off/on option in settings just like G and P.

C.  I assume this is a work in progress.  It will also need a hotkey along with an off/on option in settings...or a one click icon...just like in the Flash version.

D.  If you must have an "enter" default, it needs to be "Back to the Game" not "Leave the Battle".  I have already dumped several games by accident because of this poorly thought out default.  The "press any key to re-enter" in Flash is much better than this fiddly menu...press forward to select "back to game" then click enter to re-enter the game...Flash is more convenient and better designed...any key gets you back into the battle.  With this menu, even if you press the hotkey (P) when you re-enter, you are still on pause and need to move your tank to get out of pause.  Flash is more convenient, faster, and better designed

E. The menu itself would be much better if it were not opaque and instead, a partially transparent screen...just like in the Flash version.

Hy admins

There are few things i would like to see in HTML5.:

  • When im in loby and waiting for next game i can't see my criatals becose of that thing that pops out when you click on play button
  • When im in garage and i click on the upgrade button for some gun or hull, i can't see how many cristals it will cost, becose i can't upgrade it becose of my level (for example im level oficer 3 and i click on the ubgrade button for hamer to upgrade it to mk4 and i can't see how much it will cost becose i can upgrade it only from level oficer 4 and hygher) and the level form i can upgrade is only written there. I would like to see the picture of that level. In flash version you colud see every level that you need to reach to ubrade it and you couuld see a cristals that it will cost. It HTML5 you can't see it
  • The biggest eshue in HTML5, i thing, is that when you are in the battle, you can't click on your mision to see it or colect your reward, and you can't see your cristals too
  • And the last little detail is that when the gold box is dropping, that text "Goldbox will be dropped soon" is on the left side. Can you please gring it back to the centre like it was in flash wersion? 

Many thing that was in flash version were bettler. It is only details but these details were important. Please look in to flash and bring back some things in it to HTML5, the misions, upgrades and things like i sad hygher

I like some like the garage setting that looks reallly nice, but the experience is disgusting. I don't like this stuff bottom of the screen and I don't like the effect of tanks having colourful line around them if you want to shoot them. It's really messy.

I think I may have stumbled into HTML5 through pressing the special button but not sure???  If I have then I have found it completely unplayable.  It is slow, the controls don't respond there is lag so bad I just can't play.  I have tried to download it in other ways to give it a go but every time I have tried I just get a screen that says loading and that it is it.  I want to move with the way the game is going but just can't seem to get HTML5, or if I have, then can't play it.  I also run world of warships on my PC with no problems so don't get the idea I am trying to play on some ancient relic PC.

I'm working to becoming a tanki youtuber and love to have good graphics for my videos. Graphics in HTML5 version of tanki are fine, but it makes it EXTREMELY laggy. This doesn't happen with the downloadable version of tanki. Why is this? Please could you change this if possible.

I don't want to sound like I don't like the game. I've been with it for 6 years now and never left it's side. Love the game! Just trying to make it even better! ?

Being able to go to the garage in the middle of battles when weapon changes are disabled like in the flash version so you can change things like paint and skins.

Okay html5 client one basically ruined tanki for me.

The kit section is the main problem. Always tankoins and kits for tankoins. I only get few kits for crystals.

Second is the camera. Slower movement hate it.

Third is that it cannot be played in potato pc. The battle runs perfectly and when going to the main screen after battle,whole pc freezes. I prefer flash in case of this mostly.

Fourth cannot switch fullscreen.

Fifth bring that r and v buttons to see protection and gs

2. I can agree with that.

3. Can also relate, my 2011 Mac just goes jet engine in order to even load. It's quite hard to get into battle, but pretty smooth once you do get into it.

4. In battle, yes, that's an issue.

5. You already have that in tab - the only thing missing is seeing alterations.
