also the moderators suck. they are rude and ban players for no reason

i was banned for a month for "exchange of accounts" even though i was just talking to my friend about playing on our other accounts so we could xp bp. i said nothing about taking accounts. it is stupid tanki is stupid.

If you believe you've been mistakingly or unrightfully banned, kindly send a Forum PM to one of our Chat Administrators (@Hate [PM] or @Defender [PM]) and they'll look into it. This is not the place for it.

My biggest gripe with the HTML5 version of the game is the interface. Compared to what we used to have, it's remarkably inefficient and poorly laid out. In the old UI, you could have the chat window visible side by side with your battle list or full garage and still be able to quickly access your missions or friend list. It was simple and to the point, and it lead to much faster, easier navigation as a result. In the new interface, everything gets its own page for some reason. This makes navigation far more cumbersome; it's inconvenient to constantly have to go back and forth through several screens to access different menus. In addition, the new interface has a lot of wasted space in its layout. There are plenty of places where more information could be displayed to the user, and taking advantage of this wasted space could reduce the needless complexity of the UI. For instance, the new Battle List is just a bunch of crap packed together in the center of the screen. It's somewhat hard to read and it doesn't even have the courtesy to show you what map each battle takes place on from one screen. In the old battle list, you could highlight a battle from the list, and you'd see more information about the battle in a much more visible manner in an adjacent window. Why isn't there a window like this in the new Battle List? Why can't the devs just move the list itself over and give us an old-style information window next to it? This would be a much better, simpler implementation than giving every battle on the list yet another separate page.

How do I get rid of this spoiler? I wanted to put an image here but I guess I can't paste it for whatever reason...

Just click on the top brighter-grey part of the spoiler panel (where it says 'Spoiler') and press the Delete key. I've removed it for you.
Here's how to post images on the Forum.

Okay, I get that the devs are trying to fix as much as they can as fast as they can.   How about fixing this...

https://prnt.sc/seyxik

I think it is a targeted shot at forumers complaining with screenshots, so now it is impossible to complete a full screenshot. If this is not deliberate, it must be fixed.

It is also important that they provide a normal button for leaving a group. Who would think of pressing on your username to leave a group?

They got to make a way to use the forum without leaving the game.

I suppose it's a matter of opinion, but I think that the model Alternativa uses is actually rather advantageous. One of the nice things about the current setup is that the client is very light to download. A new player can download the client and start playing very quickly. It also suits Alternativa's frequent update schedule. I'm not sure that less frequent updates are the way to go. And while loading times may be a bit long after you've just installed the game, once more resources are downloaded they stop being an issue.

I feel that for more graphically complex games, like WoT as you mentioned, downloading all of the relevant resources is done out of necessity, because of how much more space they take up. Consider how large, file-size-wise, the assets in modern games are. Streaming these assets when they're necessary would result in unacceptably long loading times. But Tanki's assets are much smaller by comparison.

Yea, but using a client like I suggested will enable all players to play lag-free & with constant FPS. Actually, the updates are not much frequent in Tanki. They're about once per month. Updating the client once every month won't be a problem for players, given the fact the they need to download resources once at least every month because they need to delete that cache file in appdata folder, thanks to the errors Tanki client gives.

About new players, they actually won't mind downloading a bit larger software & installing, given that it needs very lower system requirements.

-Use the Camera from the Flash version
-Give the Option to switch to Fullscreen by pressing "F11"
-Make the Game look like the Flash version

I agree with all of these points here and I'm pretty confident I mentioned these in my previous post although there are some things I would like to add. After playing on HTML5 a bit more recently, there is something else that I would like to be implemented. In flash, you can see the duration of supplies clearly, as well as when there is a cool down, by the colours. In HTML5 it is all number based. I feel that the flash version of illustrating supply usage is much better than with numbers as players have to look down at their supplies to see how long they have left and this is an extra process that the brain has to do. With colour, you can simply glance over the screen and get a good idea of when the supplies will run out.

Please implement a way for us to be able to read the battle chat after the battle finishes. Too many times I've missed the chance to read whatever someone wrote in the chat, especially when the battle ends abruptly. Also, make the battle chat history longer when pressing Enter, not just a few messages but a lot longer like in the Flash version.

Hello,

I got two another points that could be considered to be implemented in the HTML5 version:

1. Being able to see finished micro-upgrades uopn entering the game. In Flash, you get the "Congratulations!" window, showing your completed micro-upgrades. The same should be in HTML5;

2. Showing stats of Alterations / Augments in the Garage. In the Flash Version, one could see the statistic changes that the Alteration has (e.g. Assault Ammunition: +30% Impact Force (at that time), no critical shot). The same was there in the first versions of HTML5, but then it all disappeared somehow ?

Delete it. That would make it awesome for me.

Sadly, that isn't a viable option. Flash is dying, what else can take it's place?? The only current possible answer is HTML5. Once it's perfected, it'll bug less[hopefully].

This idea has always been at the back of my mind - a Tanki Online newsletter. (Boooring!!! no, no, read on, because I can promise you that you will get excited with this idea.)

Now I know, there is already a reporters group which does a fantastic job on writting essays and engaging with the community.

But sadly, it does not cover all aspects of the game.

However, I propose something a tiny bit different yet entirely new - a weekly/fortnightly newsletter that appears not only in the notification bar in the game, but also as a seperate pop-up that you get everytime you log into the game. If it is successful, it can even be 'delivered' to forum PMs, and Emails.

It would be formatted like a real newsletter of course, but instead of it being full of still pictures, I'm thinking of a mixture of gifs, videos and pictures which makes it very entertaining.

Here's what I propose:

Like any newspaper, there would be a politics section, but instead of real world politics, the Tanki Online news paper talks about what the developers are going to do in the future, and if allowed, gossip between players.

There would also be a news and announcements section, where all the latest updates, as well as general news gets announced.

Furthermore, there would be an events section, where the events calendar would be listed so more people can see it. Also, pictures and videos of events can be put on there to give players (especially newer ones) an idea of what it's like to participate in an event.

Then there comes the eSports section, which replaces the real-life 'sports' section. Select articles from the tankisport website can be posted onto there, where viewer can read about latest matches as well as watch videos and see pictures from the matches.

There can also be a challenge section, which is like the Sudoku section for a real-life news letter. However, in the Tanki Online version, there can be tank-related word puzzels, mini-challenges and many more ways of getting the community involved. We can even bring back Marc's thinking challenge game, which was great fun if only there were more players involved.

Of course, what news paper is there without the ads? Instead of real ads, I'm think of clan recruitments, helper recruitments and other things, which normally isn't realy advocated in Tanki. This allows people from all parts of the Tanki Online community, whether it be an eSports player, or a developer, to come together and enjoy each other's progress.

Perhaps we can even allow a feedback section for both the newsletter as well as any categories (eg. Updates, events etc.). Maybe this new interaction between the players and developers will allow developers to get closer with the players, and update the game to give everyone satisfaction and a great experience in-game.

(Sorry if there are any errors with grammar, I typed this in a hurry)

Let me know what you think!

*edit    the newsletter can also be in russian. a translator translates the newsletter, and just like how you can change the language of the tanki forum, a button can be implemented to change the language. Therefore, both russian and english players can participate in the same events, allowing people to make new friends.

*also there can be a lottery section, where at the end of every week or every fortnight a winner is selected. the prize can be things like paints, containers or crystals. there should also be a requirement for the lottery to go ahead, where there has to be 1000+ players registered in the lottery for it to operate.

If I get approval and permission to do this and cooperation from other parties of the game (eg. different helper groups, developers etc), I can make a draft of what it should look like, which can show you just how cool it can be.

I also believe that ranking up is too time consuming. I have spent hundreds of hours grinding, and it just makes the game boring, as I now only look forward to leveling up. Is there any way that you could make the ranks Easier to get please? It is anyoying seeing all my friends literally 6 ranks above me because I don’t play all day. look all I’m asking is making ranking up easier. Come on, please? Or at the very least add buying ranks to the game again. ( but cheaper, because I can’t spend all my money on tanki)

HTML is vastly inferior to flash at this point.  One big and easy improvement to the battle interface would be to put access to missions on the Pause/Exit/Garage menu.

For HTML to be as good as Flash, it needs to have, at the very least, the same features as Flash...this is just common sense.

If ranking is easier, then your friend will rank faster too. It will still takes time to catch up with him. Is you spend a bit then buy the premium pass, you will progress 50% faster. Do it when double funds events as you will get more crystals therefore afford stronger equipment, and consequently increase xp and crystals.

The thing is, I don’t want to buy a TEMPORARY pass. I want to get to legend. Then I could enjoy playing and not have to be worrried about others being a higher rank. I just want to get to legend, but it is just too long and tough to do. Please help the prosses go faster, and please take this into thought tanki devs. I really hate the long  rank up prosses. If I could level up faster ( without pro pass) the game would be much more enjoyable. Please consider this, please.

If you reach legend to quickly you will face very strong opponent: 50% on all there protection, fully upgraded hulls and turrets, and of course fully operational drones, and lot os drugs.
In fact, the devs have implemented many updates to slow down progress in xp and increase crystals: addition of ranks above marshal, then the legend with infinite increase, and of course less experience per key actions. They made it so people eager to fast track to the top would have to buy premium. If you remove this Tanki loss money, and they won;t be happy about that. I reach legend and it is the same as before, it is just a rank. But for me I don't play it anymore, I play a lower rank, in a way I restarted the game ? and try to do even better than the first time and try new combo.

I have another thing to suggest for a new mode. It is a really good  idea too. Add a mode where tanks are random, and there are no supply’s. So basically you enter the mode and have random tank setups. Also there should be 10 of each supply’s for each match, but it is not our equipment. I think this is a great idea, and I think would make the game more interesting. Also it would let us make OUR ACTUAL equipment more powerful by upgrades, while we Can use ballenced random hulls and guns. What ever you do you need to add this idea, if u want me to explain more just ask!

I think old html5 version is much better since it was so similar to flash version, the new html5 is so complicated, it's just not tankionline i wish that you bring the old html5 back, we don't need radar or the new features, i barely can see notifications in the battle like no it won't take time i don't think that players will like that version they're playing because they loved the old game but not it doesn't seem like tanki at all

I know that you can leave the group, but you have to click on your nickname to get the leave group button, it took me so long to figure out where the leave group button was because I was in a group with a friend who was offline and I couldn’t p’ay games if I didn’t leave. So why not make a leave group button just because its quicker and easier? I know this might seem too far but for a person like me who took forever to figure where the leave group button was..
