I mean, even if you are critical, there has to be logic. Maf is logical. Yet the review suggested otherwise...

I think you underrate the hunter alteration... Constantly locking on means you're shooting faster than using the spacebar (Due to aim+recovery time being faster than shot reload) and, in a pinch, after a lock-on shot you can almost immediately tap another shot, as you just have to wait for the recovery time instead of the full reload, it makes for a good surprise as the enemy won't expect another missile so soon.

 

And I use it with dictator and titan, I'm midfielder/aggressive though.

If you read carefully, you'll notice that it only sounds terrible at first, but is actually the opposite.

- "The only thing that may beat it in utter uselessness is the Vulcan Hornet combo"
Vulcan Hornet is the most OP combo at the moment

It's my 3rd most used turret with 180 hours played

I think the lock-on should be faster but not to fast or it will be over powered,the lock on i think makes the striker balanced because something that does that much damage is kinda scary and it would get annoying if you see 2,4,8 missiles  flying at you every few seconds i saw this one guy hacking and as soon as his laser touch some one he shot 8 missiles at them and then it was over fore them he was in first place in battle and a lot of people left so there was no one to kill and if there was he would get them first.So ya i kinda think its good to have the lock-on and i don't think striker is useless but it isn't the best turret in the game but it is fun to play with.

This article is great except for the mammoth - striker part .To say the least an experienced mammoth striker (with uranium) is a huge pain. And if anyone gets too close mammoth OD .And btw im not even counting drones in this

@sharifsahaf Maybe, because I usually see striker with hornet and the annoying OD. If I ever see mammoth, I just avoid the guy altogether.

My thoughts on striker.

Stock: could use a buff. But can do well in certain situations.

MLH: kinda boring but it does make the turret a bit more viable.

MLU: butt dragging slow, wasp can dodge it from 15m away. Probably only good in beginner and low ranks.

MLC: salvo is a death machine it seems.

RRE: gains an ability even if it requires a lot of skill, so it's a plus.

Adrenaline: could be useful.
