A very positive step forward for HTML.  It is much better.  There are still quite a few issues with HTML, but hopefully they can be sorted out as time goes on.   Hopefully this is the start of a trend where the devs actually pay attention to the community that plays their game...thank you for the improvements.

I do hope that Flash will still continue for some time though.  I played in flash today and it was almost impossible to get into my garage.  I certainly would have timed out had I been within a battle.  I finally got in about 5 minutes after the third login.  Yesterday I had lots of trouble with crashes, freezes, and long waits to just get login screens or to get into the lobby.  Daily missions would only show a blank gray screen with no missions.  It smacks of not keeping up with Flash and possibly just letting the Flash version glitch into oblivion.  I understand it is more work to keep both platforms up and running, but as long as Flash is available, it would be good to keep it operating smoothly even with the added labor.  I for one would prefer a clean break with Flash as opposed to the frustration of trying to play on it as it is let to go to seed and decay.  The HTML improvements have made HTML a much more viable option to Flash, but I still prefer Flash and will continue to play it as long as I can.  At least now when the change-over happens it won't be my last days with Tanki.

Glad you're enjoying it. Make sure you continue to share detailed feedback in the dedicated thread. It will help us nail down EXACTLY what's bothering you and fix it.

Here's the link to the official HTML5 Feedback thread.

Thank you. I really appreciate this comment. I think one of the main reasons is that Aleksandra Nozhenko, our Head of Community Management, is a really empathetic person. She genuinely cares about the community and about the whole team. And that kind of attitude tends to "infect" (in a positive way) anyone it comes in contact with.

I hope we can continue to improve the game in the ways that really matter to the community.

Of course, I can't promise we'll implement EVERYTHING. Some things might be impossible, be it due to technical or financial or practicality reasons. But we'll do our best.

With nothing better to do, I decided to give this new HTML5 Tanki a go.

Performance seems better on my end.  On lowest settings, the game hovers between 45-60 FPS for me, which is a step up from 30-40 FPS last time I played.  Still, I think performance can do better, as my FPS tanks down to 15-30 FPS if there's too much action around me before stabilizing back to 45-60 FPS.  While by no means close to the consistent performance I get on the non-HTML5 TO Client, the improved performance of HTML5 TO is definitely enough to keep me interested.

That said, the looks of the UI, in my opinion, can be improved.  The dark bluish gray color schemes are alright, but I think some camouflage patterns on the UI would make tankers feel more immersed in tank warfare.  At the very least, making the looks of the UI customizeable for players would be a touch.

One last, minor thing: I'd like it if the Killscreen showed all players without needing a scrollbar, at least on browsers.  My personal solution to this would be to shrink the size of the Killscreen (down to maybe 67% of the current size) so that you can fit all players' entries on one page.  I appreciate the readable-ness of the UI, but I am open for shrinking the Killscreen enough to show all entries.

In short, this update to HTML5 Tanki is pretty good for now.

need "R" and "V" system to view player's modules/GS, also, got error twice in a row on 2 maps, not different from flash, and then went back on flash. HTML5 still not ready.

We already have modules and GS in tab so...

Can you provide more details about the error please? I'd like to forward to our programmers

Not gonna try to find every player im facing off with a tab and then analyse everything, V and R is a lot faster and more clear when you are inspecting nearby enemies/teammates

True, but seeing now u can see alts in tab, i think Alternativa wants to remote R / V button usage.

Will the changing screens thing be a bit optimized... since it takes more time to change to Garage from battle in HTML5 comparing to Flash

For now, you can fix this issue temporarily by increase the chat frame. This can be done by dragging the left boarder of the chat frame.

Good idea, how about decreasing the chat frame? this way lets me join pro-battles easier once the battles link posted.

to me still worst sadly. laggy and flickering image ( flash is steady) , color too flashy look as  an older game of 90's cabinet arcade . And sorroundings difficult to spot .
Again , battles with html5 went last, and with flash on first 3 .1080 ti gtx card 11gb ( so pretty much Higher range one )
Juggy mode:i cannot see when one juggy is destroyed , there is NOT  the "big notification" which helps ( if your team juggy get destroyed  you go to def first as they will all hunt for the new spawned one) .i lose the enemy juggy icon in  enclosed part of the  maps  when with flash does not happen.
why just you dont fix the errors there in flash and let people live with that even with less options? is so different  , like a different game
