Hi folks;

Forum moderators seem to have a penchant to close topics at whim. Sometimes they are really justified to do so based on rules or spamming in that topic. Part of my frustration is solely in their eagerness to close a topic if it slightly breaks a rule, and the quickness in how this is done so efficiently. You can close that topic after its open for two days also. Also, sometimes the rules for closing topics are too strict. Therefore, I created this topic too complain about how quickly topics are closed, and to share your opinion on when topics should close.

Being that there are plenty of examples of topics closing, we don't need this topic to become another one. Therefore, please don't spam or do anything in this topic that might get an eager mod to close the topic. Please enjoy responsibly.

As @Total_SkiIl has already kindly pointed out above, public discussion of our work is prohibited as per the game rules, so kindly make sure to fully read them first before attempting to prove the very point in regards to topic closing.

If you'd like to make a complaint regarding a moderator's work or wish to discuss this matter further, you're free to contact one of our Forum Administrators — @Maf or @Ninja via Forum PM.

As said above, you can contact myself or Ninja if you disagree with the decision to close a topic. It's entirely possible that we made a mistake, so if you explain it to us, we can reopen the topic and find a compromise. But in 99% of cases topics are locked for a valid reason.
