Let's discuss the current meta !

I'm sure you have heard or encountered the word "meta" used mostly in gaming, some of you know what it means and some may not.

So what is the meaning of "Meta" anyways?

The word "Meta" stands for "Most Effect Tactic Available". It is mostly used to describe a combo or items (or anything game-affecting)

that outperforms the rest of the combos, items etc... The meta always changes and that has to do with many factors (one of them

is the balance changes the changes you see in patch notes. Another factor is the community's creativity "if the community is quite

creative and curious, more combos will be discovered even weird ones sometimes and still make them work" etc...)

 

Now that everyone understands the word, let us discuss the current meta!

Personally, the meta now is Vulcan Hornet with the Reinforced aiming transmission alteration and possibly Booster/Defender drone

followed by Firebird Hornet with the Incendiary mix alteration with the same drones.

A vast majority of casual players out there have no clue what you are talking about. Primarily because the inherent simplistic play style was this game's main attraction - in the beginning.

With your panache for challenges and complexities you have muddled your game mechanics so far that it has probably become too hard for your own analysts to keep up with changes and player reactions. So, let's first hear more about TO's agenda creating this topic. And before the public starts actually investing their overenthusiastic brains, let's wonder what good and bad can possibly come out of this. I for one will not hand over anything on a silver platter that can be used against me.

I am sorry to discus about this here as i could not find any other forum.

Wanted to talk about the crystal rewards that we used to get on ranking up.

Have you discontinued those as i just ranked up and got nothing

Hornet+Magnum or Hornet+Rail   or Hornet+Vulcan ... same doses of each.

followed by

Viking+Magnum   or Viking+Rail  or Viking+Vulcan

 

So... when does Hornet OD   FINALLY GET A NERF???

You have to claim them in the special rewards section in the html5 version.

So far all I have is LCR and Turn-Faster-But-Aim-Lower. LCR works if you mainly stick back and take potshots, but I'm a very frontline-friendly Titan so it doesn't work as well for me. TFBAL works good if you can get it early-game, but eventually Titan itself will move fast enough and the turret will rotate enough you can easily compensate for the lack of speed, which negates the auto-aim nerf that alt provides and frees up the spot for a different augment. I think I'll try Scout next.

Disagree. MURDER HORNET combined with THE ULTIMATE RAT MAGNUM, is by far the worst and overpowered combo out there.

IMO, Vulcan combos from its beginning 2015 many times he came OP.

In first it was OP combined with Mammoth all M3 kits, now it's OP with Hornet or Titan

especially now they buff it more with fire immunity (I think nerf will come soon)

IMO Vulcan was only OP twice - when it was first released, and now, with Fire Immunity + Incendiary Band. Other than that, for the past four years Vulcan has been either fine or underpowered.

from a short period, Vulcan were extreme OP in unbelieveable strong
honestly no words I can describe with it how it was OP
in seconds it destroy me from even from far distance, even Repair kit didn't benefit me, it ignite me immediately
it was ridiculously OP, IMO.

I don't know what was Tanki thinking about this state

what ever he has disadvantages what ever he has downsides or hard to control it shouldn't be at this power ever 

maybe even Railgun can't do this damage from far distance, actually it was stronger than Firebird

I haven't words anymore to describe this absurd thing, but it was worse than what I say above

I tried this once on test server, 7.5K damage with ONE HIT!

It's obvious the Devs don't care about balance.

Kind of a protest on how OP Hornet is and the moderators said the Devs are aware of this while no actions or announcements has been taken or made for over a year.
