Why are Animated paints more expensive than skins ?

I can't even imagine, a normal skin costs around 10K Tankoins, but today I got surprised that some paints cost 18K tankoins.

Who would spend 18 000  Tankoins to just buy a paint? 

And remember , skins are exotic, paints are legendary! This is illogic....... Why would someone spend more than 100$ for just a paint? Depsite paints are less rare than skins!!

And some paints are epic, and they are SUPER cheap!! Prices are not balanced at all!

My question is:

Why are these paints more expensive than skins?

Oh did they add the paint-buying feature? Ya, who knows what goes on in tanki HQ...I'm guessing Tanki will figure out no one is buying them, and eventually lower the prices.

Both skins and paints are merely cosmetic items without providing any actual playing advantage (other than the visual looks upgrade), so any price difference/fluctuations between the two shouldn't really matter all that much at all, as their values are but subjective depending on the player.

If anyone is willing to purchase either of the two for whichever price, they will.

 

Additionally, both of the two can still be obtained completely free of cost or either very cheaply (e.g. from a container, completing a challenge etc.), and a selection of Shop paints is also going to be moved to the garage very soon with an upcoming paints' update.

Lol, in my country, valour is worth as much as a ps4 and tankoin tank cost as much as a macbook.

Anyway , it's ok... But it would be better if animated paints costed around 6000 or 5000 or even 7000 Tankoins

Ironically, Valour is available for free in the Beginner's Parade on the Android version. Just do the Missions on whichever platform you want, and then claim their rewards on mobile.
