Battle Funds

Played Tanki since 2014-2015 something, but i don't know why i've never brought this stuff up. The battle funds/rewards or crystals at the end of a match is very insufficient. I often placed top 3 in every match but all i was ever getting is only around 150-200 crystals. Compared to the price of things at the garage, it's absolutely pathetic. It's like when you work for McDonalds but wanted to buy expensive stuff with an average salary of around $9 per hour.

I have multiple of screenshots on me getting first place with the amount of crystals i get, you can pm me if you want it. Sure, premium account gets all the fancy stuff. But this is why you lose players Tanki.

I believe that most of your players are from Miniclip, which can be classified as casual gamers. You see, casual gamers tend to play for fun, not for competitiveness. That's why they don't find the need to spent real currency on games. You see where i'm heading here? With insufficient battle funds, they'll tend to stick around for a couple of rank worth of gameplay, then they'll be gone because it's too time consuming to save up for crystals. Just imagine what'll happen if all of those "casual gamers" actually stick around playing the game because they find it plausible for the amount of crystals they are getting to buy the stuff they want. They'll spent more real money in no time believe me. And that's where you can actually make money Tanki.

You guys can test my theory for a few months and crunch the numbers. If it doesn't work out, feel free to revert back to the "normal" state of Tanki.

I'm not asking much, just an increase of 15-20% of the battle funds is enough to do the trick.

Battle funds are meaningless now...even when they are doubled; win, lose, top player, bottom player, inconsequential.  Now game income is generated by daily missions  and stars...maybe a few golds now and then during holidays.

I never look at the crystals, only at my D/L ratio. ?

It it true that missions (daily and weekly) are main incomes nowadays but only if you play less than 45 minutes per day.

Many players do not spend money at all. If they never did they will never will. IMO Tanki is interested in the one that buy occasionally, and they set up shop and promo in a way to have them pay a little bit more than usual. They have no interest in non-buyer, still non-buyer can play and enjoy it, you have to be careful about your equipment strategy, which is difficult to do if you only play once in a while.

Default battle funds are not enough to get you through the game successfully. This is a 100% true fact, and no one will deny it. What you didn't account for, however, is the massive amount of additional bonuses players can get from various other sources. This includes:
- Daily missions (crystals and supplies)
- Weekly missions (weekly and normal containers)
- Double fund events, which seem to happen every weekend lately
- Special gold box events
- Special missions
- Challenges
- War events
- Contests and giveaways

Last weekend alone, people managed to get tens of thousands of crystals from golds, and many days of free Premium time. So to calculate player income based on only default battle rewards is quite inaccurate to say the least. I'd say these rewards account for no more than 30% of all income.

This is not true.

I am a casual player - and have ranked up to Legend without spending a penny.  Have more supplies (except for batteries) than I will ever need.

The missions/containers give you enough supplies and crystals to remain competitive within the battles.

I have to make more choices than buyers do - limited number of combos and fewer / less upgraded drones.  And don't bother with Challenges.

But I've been playing since 2015.

Wonder why they come up with that mechanics. It's like forcing people to go premium because they kept increasing the gap between premium and non-premium players by further decreasing the income of casual player.
