I've already been using html5 for months - you'll get used to it and now i even like it better... When i went back to flash for a day, the camera in battle was so weird... Let's just hurry and get everyone to html5 so they can get Ares out! ? Flash is being discontinued so they are eventually going to have to get rid of it... why not early so they can focus more on fixing bugs/glitches in html5 than have to wait untill flash dies completely. I know most of you have been using flash for years and its hard to switch but, eventually you'll have to... on ANY game u play...

My PC costed around 500 bucks so... maybe its your PC but this is what makes me get fast loading and 60FPS on full graphics so....
My connection is also 50MB/s and above so xD

 

And we have an answer what is a slow and older machine on which HTML 5 version everything will go smooth. BUAHAHAHAHAHA

Just a few reasons HTML is less than Flash in no particular order:

- I want to be able to access my missions from within a battle.  I want to be able to see my number of crystals and stars from within a battle.  I want to see my XP displayed as a number and a percentage graphic compared to the next rank.  All just like in Flash.

- Why do the team colors change in ASL?  It's confusing Flash red caps flags, bue defends easy

- Can't access mission status during battle...am I supposed to get DA or DD?  Very inconvenient.

- Difficult to see CP points fill up, especially blue...more contrast is needed

- If you are on red it is harder to determine the blue enemy because the the red/black health bar...an almost dead teammate looks like a blue...contrasting colors like in Flash would be better

- Hard to tell your own health in red  since the dark gray fades into the paint color...contrasting red would be better

- Font too small on kill board...can't see icons or read stats

- Font in garage is much too small....lots of unused space, why such micro-fonts?  Icons also too small. (hull/turret icons, paint pics, etc)  Almost impossible to read upgrade prices...it's like a 6 point Ariel.  Upgrade stats difficult to read also.   Garage is unpleasant and cumbersome to navigate.

- From "Missions" screen I'd like to be able to see my name, rank, if I have Premium or not, and how many stars I have accumulated...just like in Flash

- Can't copy names to clipboard from real-time action menu/tab menu/who-did-what-menu

- In game chat is distracting. it should not disappear so quickly.  Best would be an on/off option in settings.

- Get rid of the "red team captured point B" and make the point icons in the center (point A, B, C, etc) larger so they can be seen more easily

- Rank indicators are too small on tab menu...actually all the fonts are too small

- HTML doesn't show crystal total when in battle...minor but still a nice feature of flash

- Mk display in garage for individual turrets/hulls only works for Mk1  why not display MU level for Mk2-Mk7? (maybe this was just a glitch?)

- Battle List needs to have the ability to make it default instead of going to lobby after exiting a battle...too much time to load battle list

- Get rid of the auto-resort for daily missions.  After you complete a mission just let that space be where it is instead of snap shifting the remaining missions to the left...makes it easy to make mistakes like accidentally clicking "change mission"

- After a battle ends,.it would be nice to linger in the battle scene or a welcome substitute would be to allow chat after the battle while still looking at the kill or score board

- Movement has improved but still causes slight nausea or dizziness...kind of like slight seasickness or car sickness.  Seems to cause much quicker eye fatigue.

- The movement after being killed is bad.  The camera follows your back end being raised quickly and dropped...seasick move

- The lobby is inconvenient with too many fiddly clicks.  The flash lobby is highly superior.   If you are looking at hulls/turrets/etc you are six clicks and all their loading times away from a battle queue if you check your daily missions...way too fiddly.

- Why does the lobby now heave like you are on are on a rolling sea...stupid, pointless, unrealistic...seasick move

- Personally I think the radar is pointless at best and distracting at worst (make it an off/on option in settings)

- The OD display is much too large

- The who-did-what-to-who display is now too large (make it an off/on option in settings)

- The in-battle chat font is now too large...unless it becomes and option to turn on and off in settings.

- If the outlines of enemies behind walls are still part of HTML, I would prefer to see them gone.  The minimal ability to hide behind a wall is one of the few strategic features left in Tanki

- Firebird and Freeze seem to only damage one tank at a time, not neighboring tanks.  I get about half the score in HTML as Flash...every time.

- Names above tanks went from microscopic to gigantic.  Names have greater visibility now than the tank itself.  You have defined the spectrum now adjust the font to something in the middle.

There are many more problems that make HTML less than Flash.  Overall movement and visibility are the biggest problems.  Visibility should be an easy fix...more color contrast, larger fonts.  The third big problem is the lobby/garage interface...why not emulate what you developed over the last 10 years in flash...why re-invent the wheel?

You are 1000% correct! However, the word "reasonable" is unknown to Tanki decision makers! Like when they tried to force on us the MM system when it was not ready and then they had to backtrack until they fixed some major issues! even now MM is crappy because this is the only game I know that places such a wide range of ranks in to battle and 95% of the time is not evenly matched.(I guess someone in Tanki thought that we would enjoy getting killed with one shot from someone 5 ranks higher than us and fully maxed upgrades!  It is the only MM game, as far as I know, that dumps you in to a battle that ends within mere seconds after you join! Did I mention also the lag and the some of the not so though out changes in OD especially the Titan one where if you do not have full health, you get killed despite the protection! 

Let's face it, Tanki not only has incompetent decision makers, but it also has incompetent programmers who cannot get anything right! The new HTML5 is really unplayable by gaming standards: from the washed out color selection, to the way the tank controls behave.  Anyone with the basic knowledge of computers would know that support from Adobe has nothing to do with the loss of the data from the Flash version.  Data do not just vanish to the data heaven because you do not have support by Adobe unless of course someone forgot to program correctly the capture of the data and perhaps forgot to turn the logs on. Also, there is a reason why backups were invented and especially real time and snapshot backups! But then again, we should not expect such features on a system that looks like it is run out of someone's garage.

I mean like I would happily change to HTML5 but it just is very slow. It takes time to load everything. Not cause of so many people these days but overall. In flash it just takes a few seconds. My FPS and ping all go very high when I play on HTML5 and I have 5G, I  mean like you can't have 110 ping with 5G and I am pretty close to Europe. In flash I have about 30-45 ping and I never lag but I HTML5 I don't know how the ping jumps and it just is so laggy to play properly. Then the camera, flash camera is just so perfect. HTML5 camera takes a lot of time to rotate. I am not saying that Tanki is a bad game but come on, sometimes listen to players. Not saying that you should keep the flash up but atleast make HTML5 look a little like flash. I would happily play the game then  I mean like you have some nice ideas like the Special mission, that was such a good idea. Pls change the camera and the lag and I would change happily and I am sure that that is the maon problem with most players.

Tanki; How to move players from flash to HTML5?

Dev; give them errors, don't give their daily premium rewards, don't give them special missions, don't let them get their rankup rewards, make server lags,

Maybe just maybe the reason why they can not do a identical or so fast game like it is is because he was not programmed the flash version the everything

is under the hull and it was the Flash player do. They do only the colors, the names, chats and some simple thing everything else was under the hull and

I just said it was a Flash player.

Now for a HTML 5 version they must do everything absolutely from a very start and it is obviously that they are not a best programmers.

Problems that exist from flash is:

1. SAP (Stand alone program) and browser too blocks very often, but I don't think that very much user noticed that, but problems with block is when it is the

almost the time to blocks the game and you are on a finishing the game, last game until blocks You are going to the garage, do some changes and then

return to the game. OK that game finish. You push continue and then wait till next game starts. The game is still running and You can notice that if you can go

into the garage the background of a tank hull is white or blank. But it is not the point the point is the next thing The next seconds of a new game is important

and the game finish with freeze screen. What to do except to restart the browser or a SAP and You are in the game and you think everything is OK but it isn't.

Then You decide to go to the garage to do some changes to be able to defeat enemy and then you notice that something is weird You can not do a change

because the counted tic-tac clock from the last game change equipment. And it is because the our good programmers can not accept the clue that on start of

a new game every counter must be reset to the zero.

 

Problems with HTML 5 version:

1. I got  server lost connection go to Solution or restart.

   OK I want solution then he goes me to the next page this one

but after started the command line and do a command

ping -t c5.tankionline.com

I got a bunch of a 

Request timed out. etc 

and when I do a restart of a server connection lost I got a enter to the game and what is the conclude that they have not much knowledge for some problems
to solve. 

Because of so many problems I will end with this two.

I am pretty sure that isnt excuse for making GUI so confusing and different from flash. Sure you cant make the game exactly like before but at least they should try to make it better than this.

Okay, the rush to move to HTML5.  Is there any way of knowing which of the Clients we have?

I downloaded the client but no way of telling if it's the HTML5 one or not.

I kind of knew it but still don't care. If/when flash is gone, so am I.

HTML5 is super heavy, slow, jerky, odd camera, and is designed like a riddle or something. What interesting is that client is worst than web version.

Lol no problem guys, I know that u guys do a lot of work to keep us happy in the game. If there is a problem in flash version, you don't need to apologize, it wasn't ur fault it was that stupid flash version's fault. You tried your best and I am happy with what u guys did for us. I hope you get success in every update you bring next.

HTML 5 stupidity and maybe a reason of a slow everything.

In a battle list, why the every damn byte or a letter must be in different color. Are we are daltonist (ill of recognition of colors) I can not even read what is written when see so many different colors I must read like I don't know to read every letter 3 seconds.

Like a gypsy squirt.

Do you not understand that flash is going away? All games are trying to moving off of flash before they stop upgrading and distributing it. Tanki devs have no choice but to move to another language, flash is old technology. I would hate to see HTML5 version identical as the flash version. The flash version has been almost the same since 2009 Its past due for a new layout.

I don't think  anyone really cares about the new layout of HTML.  What they care about is the impeded functionality of HTML.  The lobby and garage are slow, clunky, inefficient, and poorly laid out.  The only thing that has efficient link access is the shop (what a surprise).   I want the same features in the lobby and garage that flash has.   I want easy one click access to most functions....just like Flash has.  I want the same information displayed in each screen and battle that flash has...not less than flash...at a minimum the same as flash....it shouldn't be hard, the model is right there in the flash version, Tanki just hasn't taken the time or bothered to copy the functionality they had in flash.

Ask to 20k tankers , they can say of course flash looks better . Because flash verssion pratic and easy . and html5 version like a mobile game . ( i feeling like i playing tanki mobile , drive feels , shoot feels so different than flash 

So if tanki designers can do ssome changes to html5 versions it's can be better for Tanki . 

these are just my opinion but i'm sure %90 players agree to me

Maybe now you can focus on more quality improvements to HTML5.

·The random self destruction bug should be fixed because that's annoying.

·Ability to see mission progress while in battle, pretty inconvenient without it.

·Loading speed could definitely improve, it's really painful when you get sent back to the main menu.

 

There's obviously a lot more, but we'll start with those three.

actually I am kinda feeling insecure to make further investments in Tanki online.. 
well it's like I am being pushed to be an tanki x player where I really like old tanki for sure ,, 
yes obviously I  do like new updates and new introduced equipment's,, and new stuffs ,, but somehow I don't feel that I wanna stick with the game in the future because of some updates and tanki online has become more costly....
for instance those are things that I don't like in HTML5: 
1. I cant go full screen when I log in for a battle search or if am already in battle
2. tanki online is more expensive nowadays
3. I cant play m2 xp/bp battles
4. no product kits are available for purchase with crystals   as there is only product kits available for purchase with tanki coins in the shop full list , and 6 product kits @ discounts with tanki coins ,, 
so my question is where will I get so much tanki coins ? and it is really costly tobe purchased 
5. daily missions is kinda fair at the moments but all events are over , those daily missions is more harder to complete.
6. please fix the MM systems as sometimes I needs to fight m7 + legend players and mk-8 protection module with my turret ,, say how am I supposed to have fun ,, where I am being send to be slaughtered .
7. I really miss the time where a player trys to develop an strategic plans to attack an enemy team ,, well before we could did that but now for that 6 mins time frame we cant do it anymore.. 
8. MM battles consumes loads of drugs ,, especially repairs kits and drones ,,, so why don't we get enough interms of rewards, for e.g collect 15 double damage toi get 25 double damage,, so do you know that I had spend 50 double damage in 3 battles to collect those,, and that's mm systems works 

I just wanna end it up here as I don't wanna be the bad guy ,, 
can you fix those issue Tanki Online.
