A paint for hull and turret separated

Recommended Posts

Having an animated paint or normal cool paint is cool to know the tank look to others and how strong might the player be by having a certain paint.

What am suggesting is that a separated paints for the hull and turrets... Example: having a FLOW paint and a PRESTIGIO paint the idea is we be able to put the FLOW paint on the turret and the PRESTIGIO paint on the hull or the opposite and whatever paint we can  and am suggesting to NOT putting normal paints with Animated ones....

hope it could be cool

Valid

It was done in Tanki X, and with TX now closed and a lot of its features planned to be implemented in HTML5 TO, I can definitely see this being added in the future. Though I personally disagree with the idea and I think it looks ridiculous.

TO should separate itself from TX as much as possible. Unfortunately, TO is doing just that right now with these futuristic gimmicks like drones and ODs.

Quite frankly, the concept in TX was quite ridiculous, the tank would look really bad. Like, imagine if I decided to use the inferno paint for my hull and then my frost paint for my turret. Moreover, what really sucked was when you only got the paint for the turret, but you didn't have the paint for the entire tank. But I don't know, maybe my taste is just bad. I personally hate flashy paints and like it when the paint is just mainly a single color.

I agree, this called, "coats" in Tanki X, and when I'd get these from containers instead of the full paint, it made me really mad lol. Like my mindset, was what is worse than a paint from a container? HALF A PAINT ?

I really want to see TO use the modules system from TX, the supplies in particular. So we don't have to buy them anymore and just use them whenever we want, I really don't understand why we cant just do this, it would make the game feel more balanced. Like some guy with no supplies vs a full blown drugger just aint fun. Like I remember some dude in the General Discussion Forum found a Warrant Officer 5 guy with 9999 GS. How do players compete against these players?

I think this would only work if you get a paint in a container/shop which has similar paints for the hull and turret, but you are unable to use any paints and make a terrible look. Even if my take is not accepting, the paint-randomizer idea can't go together with this one, then everyone would have horrible looks.

Didn't that system also involve a ridiculous amount of "blueprints", which you had to get from extremely rare/expensive containers? I remember using the promo code to get 50 000 Rubies in the last few months of TX life, and even that wasn't enough to upgrade tier 3 modules to max. So while it seemed like a fair free-to-play feature, I have a suspicion that it was massively P2W in reality. If anyone here actually played TX and experienced that system, feel free to correct me.

TOs graphics are different from TXs. TXs graphics were 'realistic' in a sense that they had a lot of detail while TOs graphics are sort of animated but a clear depiction of it being just a game.

This update in TX wouldn't have shown a very clear difference but in TO it would look odd and funny.

Just imagine having a turret wearing a vrius paint and the hull wearing a sanitizer paint. [ik virus paint is not accessible].

Additionally, it would take time to equip and un equip a certain paint. First, unequip it from turret and hull then equip another paint on turret and the hull. If a player tries to change paint during battle then it will be very inconvenient. Imagine lagg acting like cherry on top of the cake.

I played TX during that time period and I can't disagree. Those modules gave you so much extra health and damage that it was ridiculous. Even after a whole year of playing, I could barely get level 6 modules (there were 10 levels!)

That being said, it was an amazing game and managed to help me become a LOT better skill-wise. If it wasn't for TX, I likely would have remained a Captain with Mk4 Hornet-Railgun.

You are correct.

I played it for a year and could not stand the random nature of those blueprints - you can't pick your own progression path.  Well, buyers could by - spending $ on extra blue-prints.

Why not make special paints for this purpose instead of overhauling the current system?

Price them at a Million Tankoins.

One million Tankoins is an overly ridiculous price, that no person would be willing to pay for. I think if they were to come out with this update, it would be similar to the way Tanki X's system for this exact same process was - One section in the garage for paints, one section for "coatings" (the paint is only on the turret). This system in Tanki X was very effective, and could be equally effective in Tanki Online.

Let's kill the idea emerging here that the devs will sell coatings in TO just like they did in TX. When I played TX for a short period of time, I raged so hard every time I got a coating of a cool paint but it would look so ugly because I don't have the entire paint on my hull to match it. Plus, coatings are utterly useless since they are so ugly... more possibility of getting trash from a container and a cosmetic that simply won't sell.

honestly i just want the supplies to become modules, the other abilities could just be overdrives in the future, like Hornet's radar. Near TX's closure, i felt that TX cleaned up their acts with automatic repairs, enhanced armor, increased damage, nitro and mines. There were common blueprints you'd find in containers, which could randomly be dropped from battles. Also with seasons, just the better you played that season, gave you a massive amount of rewards. Other modules like the cloaking system, rage, etc, of course i don't expect to be added to TO, but like i said before, radars, emergency protections, those can be done with Drones or ODs. Also, with the so called work of HTML5 for TO, would it be too hard for the TO devs to add the TX supply, spider mine? I would  LOVE to see that!
