I think the tanki chatbox is not used enough for team effort in team DM

People never use the tanki chatbox for team efforts, such as for example a player in point A telling another player at point B about the other tanks there, etc. 

Its quite a pity, people could increase their performace vastly by using the tanki chatbox in the arena for team effort.

Chat isn't really that effective in Tanki, especially in TDM. Not much strategy here. Just spawn, find enemy, shoot enemy, kill/die, repeat.

I'd love to see voice communication implemented, since that would actually be very useful in modes like CTF. Or at least a quick chat wheel with a pre-made selection of phrases that you can quickly send. This is one of the reasons why I was disappointed that the Juggernaut update was an april fools joke, since communication is one of the new additions they promised to add.

Even if players used the chat, it's probably used for Russians raging at players with English looking names for lagging or being noob.

Along with a language barrier, there's the fact that most people are tryharding for stars, meaning they are aiming for the most score possible. So TDM is usually "Solo Match: The More Kills The Better", so teamwork is non-existent. Since the team aspect is gone, using team chat for effective teamwork and communication likely isn't happening.

To my understanding xaxaxaxax is the same thing as "hahahaha" or lol. Russians laugh making the x sound or something like that.

Lol. I'm glad it was an AFJ. That mode wouldn't suit this era of the game since many just care about stars rather than teamwork. Also it would've been a waste of space became it would've been both pointless because we already have a jug mode and it would've hogged the already thin player base making wait times even longer and battles even more unbalanced.

There were people actually chatting in English back when a battle was 10v10 and lasted for 15 minutes.  The chance of meeting another English speaking person in game was lowered and you don't even have time to type anything when they decided to change the battle to a 7-minute (less with longer loading time) 8v8 fast paced mess.

Yep, but even if they add in-game voice communication between members of the group it would be a useful feature. However now that I think about it, most group members are in a Discord/other call anyway, so perhaps it defeats the purpose of making a channel solely available between groupmates.

i have a friend born in russia and i send him screenshots. He gets really annoyed bc he says the players arent spelling correctly and are basically using horrible grammar, but like english speakers

You're lucky. I was on the red team in an Assault battle where everyone on my team was camping instead of capturing flags, including me of course. We lost with a perfect 0 score.
