Tanki keeps saying "Control Channel Disconnect Exception"

Firstly, what is that error?

Secondly, I was wondering whether there is a permanent way of fixing this error because it has become more common! 

Thirdly, this happens when only I play in the new HTML 5 client, not the old flash one. Why is it like that?

Getting same error from past 1 day... both on html 5 and even desktop client/flash.

I've had this error for the past 2 weeks. However, only for the past week has it been named "ControlChannelDisconnectException." It's like a 50% chance, my load times have been significantly lengthened, and I self-destruct numerous times when spawning into battle. Why don't the devs fix this major issue (especially considering that they are pleading us to go play HTML5) instead of proceeding plans for a disastrous alteration update?

It happens to me too and I thought I was the only one affected!

Just click the restart button.

 

I wouldn't worry about it unless it happens again shortly after the first time.

The issue is that for everybody there's a 50% chance your get kicked out from a battle while you are loading into it because of the issue. So every time you enter a battle, it's really the same thing as flipping a coin to see if an error occurs.

Maybe. But I see it on my screen once, I just click restart. If it happens again shortly after, then something's up.

 

But normally I just need to click restart once and it's fine again.

 

I'm not saying this because my laptop can manage it, in fact my laptop sometimes does things that I really hate. But the point here is that this is just one of those things that shouldn't have us particularly concerned about.

I think it is WIFI related, like sometimes my WIFI shows 4 bars but I really do not think it shows the correct thing so when my WIFI suddenly drops or on increases, that error occurs.

Again, I am not too sure, just an hypothesis.

One thing that helped me was restarting my computer. For some reason, it seems to work for me if I do that.

The error occurs less frequently when your computer just restarts, but after 20 minutes of playing, the game begins to crash over and over again.
