One more huge update is coming this week. With tomorrow’s servers restart, on April 30th, we’ll be changing Containers, updating Augments (up until now known as “Alterations”) for Turrets, and changing the Crystal fund mechanism of PRO battles.

Updated containers
 

The regular container has been replaced with a new one. In addition to all previous rewards, this one contains all Augments for turrets and hulls.

Augments for turrets as well as for hulls can no longer be bought from the Garage. The only way to get them is from containers.

Updated containers will be obtainable as rewards for weekly missions and challenges, and as drops during battles. They will also be purchasable from the Shop, just like they are now.

To see the list of all possible rewards, check the «Containers» section in the HTML5 version of the game.
 

Changes in characteristics of turret augments

This update also brings changes to the characteristics of turret augments.

More details in the patch notes.

 

Gear Score: Drones and Augments

The release of hull augments and the changes made to turret augments in this update, require some adjustments to Gear Score counting. Therefore, Drones will give from 59 to 599 Gear Score points, while augments for hull and turrets will give 100 points.

Changes in crystal fund mechanism of PRO battles

 

Quite a while ago, we disabled battle funds in private battles. The time has come to finally solve the problem of unfair battle fund boosting through the use of alternative accounts. We have decided to disable battle funds in clan and format battles. These modes are not for earning crystals but for improving your skills, so we hope that you will support us in this decision.

Funds in regular PRO battles and matchmaking battles will remain unchanged.

If you gotta earn crystals go earn them in MM battles.See Tanki is so generous,they're making you earn more crystals by forcibly sending you to MM against your will and 

pitting you against Mega-Druggers and buyers with mk10 combos and 95% protections instead of letting you fight in a formatted battle without protections and alts and drugs...

well, that's not fair for like EVERYBODY ELSE that don't like XP combo, i'm a twins guy and i would love to play twins/hornet only in pro battles with no drugs and get crystals for it as well, but you don't see me complain about that don't you ?

Tanki Online (or any other person or company) isn't obligated to be up to your own expectations, especially for being a free player that does nothing but waste it's resources, you are not actually that naive to think that servers & internet bandwidth are free aren't you ?

Once in a day or in a week when they want to play MM, I don't think they want to get rekt by drugging beasts because of their poor garage which will happen because they don't have crystals to buy..

By the way not everyone can participate in eSports it's complicated like everyone won't get a reward and everyone can't follow the eSports schedule they have a life you can't expect a busy human to leave his work and play at a given time because that is the given schedule for him. Totally sounds unfair.

plus, you guys just don't realize that by playing only XP mode you kinda "forced" Tanki to do this move, you never participate on anything, you just play XP mode & waste Tanki resources (servers & bandwidth), unlike the free player (like me) thay plays mainly on MM, sure i can't effort to buy, but i do my part in facing the buyers, if the buyers play only with other buyers, then most of them won't buy anymore, thus no more Tanki.

Do you think Tanki care less about losing XP/BP players that they don't buy anything ? i think they are truly happy about it since all you guys do is waste tanki resources without ever giving it a return, Tanki is a BUSINESS, and as a business it does need a percentage of players to convert into buyers, an XP player is actually the last possible player to ever be a buyer, thus it make sense to actually cut the numbers of those useless players to it's maximum.

well, there you said it, XP isn't about skill is about you getting easy crystals without ever spending a single supply, that's a type of  crystals farming and it's cheating to everyone else that don't like the rail (like me).

why you think it's fair for you to be able to play XP combo while i can't play with a short range combo, do you actually think that rail is skill & Hammer is not ? well try getting a flag with Hammer Viking then you gonna see how hard it it !

Honestly anyone deserves to get a reward for their play. I don't know what kinda strategy these Russians have in their mind.

Maybe they want to make this game same like Tanki X and one day they will say "sorry guys..... Tanki will be closed with this year..."

again, a reward is granted when the player does a behavior that the game desire, not what the player himself think it's a good behavior.
