Magnum Viewing

currently if i wanna look forwards with magnum i have to waste my overdrive. 
If u tilt camera up for other turrets you do so to see whats behind a wall etc, but for magnum you do so to see where are you even shooting, so my idea is simple. Make the camera rotate slightly when zooming out on magnum.

video to show what i mean.
(Yes, ik its too long, but just watch it in 2x speed or sumthin? XD)

If you want to improve your viewing with Magnum, please attempt to use Mouse Controls. With Magnum specifically, there is no real learning curve to it (as spinning your mouse will just simply spin the camera around your tank, not alter the angle the turret is pointing). This will allow you to look to your sides and backwards too, which is an extra added bonus. Besides, specifically regarding your idea, I don't believe many players would want this update to occur, as it would vastly change viewing in the game, and just looking at the negative feedback that has been received regarding the only slightly different camera movement in the HTML5 version, I doubt players would enjoy this.

I would like to applaud you, though. I have never seen someone use the "vars.set cam" commands to use Magnum in a Matchmaking battle, so I congratulate you on your innovative idea. ?

Console commands aren't an official feature of the game, so nothing will be done to improve their functionality for players. It's just a thing that you happen to be able to do. If such advanced camera controls are added in HTML5, then we could consider further improvements.

Omg so this is how those pesky Magnums can hit me with perfect accuracy from across the map.

Mouse controls dont rly offer me the ability to see forwards. And ive never used mouse controls other than shaft, to aim at my target while the gun is pointing somewhere else.
the negative feedback is why im suggesting this as an option in settings or maybe even alteration.
If im using console commands to look at my target i have to be stationary, otherwise ill just never hit the target XD, but thx, kinda.

im not suggesting to do something with console commands, but to add options.

it was Chernobly and it was a lil project im working on.

if the magnum doesnt rly change positions, this is likely what theyre doing. If theyre moving, its highly unpractical.

I wonder if you can still do that on HTML 5 version of the game. Hmmm.

This would increase potency of the turret, if developers does it they would be a nerfing somewhere.

To me using this now in MM game is actually cheating, on top of being more accurate you also have a unique and advantageous view point. I think this is for that this reason that spectator account are not allowed in MM.

What I would like is to have a better view at the sky.

Well, like Dage said, it's rather impractical or should I say inconvenient to do this as someone that moves around a lot.

so i DMed MR.Nibbles, the idea is declined because devs are working on Ares, it would take too long and hard to implement, nobody with magnum uses console commands, console commands arent supported by the game and everyone who has ever used magnum is too little demographic to implement the update for...

Devs have released other updates while making Ares. I dont have team of developers, but for me it took maybe an hour to add that feature to my project. I use console with magnum, so does Viking4s. If console commands arent supported, it doesnt mean new features to the game cant be added. People who use magnum are probably like 80% of the users, imo (doesnt mean regulary, but at all)

imo all of Nibbles points are invalid.

Ares has even lower demographic user base than magnum, and yet they work on it.

how adding new paints affect all of us? i havent got a new paint since the first tanki war event. How do moving railguns Round stabilization alteration affect everyone? how releasing 8 alterations for hunter affect everyone? i could go on and on on the updates wiki section.

You say that your statements are true (big mistake imo) Tell me how you know for a fact its hard to implement and takes too long? Has it ever been done before? i would like some proof please.
Can u provide me with your accurate statistics on the demographic of users who have ever used magnum?
Can you provide the statistics which shows noone uses console commands?
Why cant developers release this feature before/after the release of ares, if theyre working on the hull? imo at most a single developer should take half a day on this feature, at absolute maximum.
Whats the % of player demographic needed to make an update? I would like to know excat numbers please. 

If your statements are true, as you say they are, it should be pretty easy to respond.

Hunter alterations doesnt affect everyone who doesnt use hunter. If they do affect everyone, then so does magnum.
I mostly use wasp/magnum/railgun. I dont see how 8 hunters alrerations affect me.
Do you mind backing up the undisputable truths from previous post?

Someone who i will not name, told me he doesnt think u even watched my video, and i have to agree with him. I dont think you did.

You said your statements are true. I would like to see the statistics etc so i dont have to trust ur word on it, but could see and check the statistics for myself As simple as that, so... Are you going to provide any proof for your thruths to be true or theyre true cause u said theyre true without any proof?
