Helpers are just usefull fools

Helpers are just the usefull fools of devs but no help to players.  Helpers say they pass our messages to devs and it might be so.
But it only creates an illusion of dialogue between players and devs, which  really is not the case.  I wish we had no helpers, then devs
would really need to discuss with players.

Helpers pass the feedback to administration who if necessary convey it to the CM. If there is no possible solution to the problem that we already know, then the feedback is conveyed to the developers by the CMs. Not everything can be informed back to the players. Some updates that were a result of player feedback might take weeks to be implemented. This does not mean that your feedback has not been accepted. 

Additionally, helpers are the assistants of administration. We can only reveal information according to the guidelines given by the administrator. We have certain boundaries that we can not cross. But trust me, every helper out their tries to help the players to the best of their capabilities. It is always a pleasure to be of help to anyone. 

It is a very raw fact that whenever a player is unimpressed or devastated by the update, then helpers (i.e moderators) are the first to get the blame. When in fact we DO NOT have a say on what gets implemented and what not. Neither do we have a say in what sort of questions (could be confidential) get answered and what don't. But I assure you, there is a majority out there who have gained lots of information and help from the helpers/moderators. 

If you think we helpers are mere tools, then you are some what wrong. Yes, we follow orders. Yes, we have guidelines. But at the end of the day, We help many players to the best of our capabilities. 

There is a reason why developers themselves do not interact. Some of the feedback is something like this:

"I Hate this update, blah!"

Such type of feedback is useless for the developers and they would have to waste their time reading it. Helpers/Admins/CM create a funnel in which informative and effective feedback is able to reach developers. It is efficient and useful as then they are able to consider feedback which devise a possible solution instead of just aggressive words which only show pure hate and appear to be biased.

Let us imagine a world without helpers. 

If there were no chat mods:

Players would leave the game is desperation out of the unlimited spam, inappropriate and personal information that will fill the chats and allow no proper communicatiom between players except without indulging in a fight with anyone. 

If there were no forum mods:

Forum would have topics misplaced and totally spammed. If you are trying to find the News and announcements topic, you might not be able to because somebody has spammed that section. 

If there were no wiki editors:

Experiencing lag? Need information about prices of a turret? Well it is all outdated and of no use. 

If no help site consultants:

Experiencing any tech related or just any problem? Nobodys there to answer them. 

It is definitely not a world Id love to be in. The list continues on btw. 

If you have complaints regarding the work of a helper, you should contact their respective administrator.

To begin with there are many different helper positions and they all do different things. Community events and contests as an example are created by helpers and wont exist without helper teams to coordinate them. Many players enjoy these activities which is why we do them and I think you could agree that they do have great value. There are lots of other things too; Wiki, Help Site, Chat, Newspaper, the list is long. We definitely shouldn't get rid of helpers. ?

Jumping over to the passing of feedback, I do agree that it would be great to have a direct feedback loop/discussion but this isnt the case for a number of reasons, namely; time and language barriers.

Firstly (as @Sacrifice mentioned) developers dont have time to sift through pages of replies to extract useful, constructive and quality feedback from everything else. Thats where a helper team would come in. For example; the infamous matchmaking topic from when the update was first released was painstakingly gone through page by page by the forum team who then compiled a report which was sent to developers. What developers do with the report is then up to them, I would NOT say this game has been the most responsive to player feedback in the past, though there have been some nice exceptions.

On the second point, there is a language barrier and developers will mostly partake in discussions on the Russian forum rather than here, thats why you dont see them respond directly and discuss as often as you would on the Russian forum.

Please use the complaint book for such complaints and in case you wish to complain about a particular helper's work please do so via PM to their respective administrator.
