Oh hello no !

i don't like HTML 5 interface, and since you won't make it 100% like the flash interface i'm still keeping my previous promise, when flash dies, my account dies with it.

Or You will eat your account! ?

i have tried it a few times it just doesnt stack up compared to flash. unless the devs act on player feedback it never will.

He wanted to say "Play one week or two and You will be familiar with the errors. You will never noticed it like it is a strange thing but a good friend!"

Sooooooooooooooooo much negativity!! ?

Alright, maybe it's not the best and all that, but html5 was 'quickly' lunched to prepare for the exit of flash. Perhaps they'll make some changes for the better once flash will be forgotten, or in the near future.

Don't know what you mean by "a drastic decrease in the number of critical error and “crashes” if html5 gives errors pretty much every time i try to join a battle or it crashes every 2 seconds , that's something that doesn't happen in flash or it does but alot less

Never the less The flash didn't crashed at all since the introduced overdrives, so many explosions, current from hunter, magnum, wasp overdrive nuke, rockets etc.

That have a memory leakage and because of it, before or after, the game must block.

And I am very afraid that programmers of tankionline didn't do any good new in a tankionline  HTML 5 except the new look and the new ground.

Under the hull it is the same buggy, errors Flash code with more wanted strength (Anisotroping filtering etc) from the PC and the errors look strange and everything is so slow.

It is something like when you on a mule put more bags he will walk slower.

Give it time. One day, perhaps soon, the developers will be able to fix all these problems, and everyone will be happy. A good game is not developed in one day, but is refined thousands of times. As long as you are patient, everything will work out fine. People are always able to adapt to new changes, clearly evident in my half-decade long journey playing Tanki Online.

One day the HTML version will be just as good, if not better, than the flash version, and you can trust me on that.

No I will not trust you on that because I play from the very start and they didn't removed many errors.

They do remove some of all but many is alive and they (tankionline) do nothing or didn't do and because

of changing the platform they wan't to do anything on a flash at all.

It will be the destine with a HTML 5 too.

When we reporte 10 errors they will remove 3 and give us a bonus weekend, double funds and

bigger rate of falling golds and everybody will be happy and everybody will forget on a so many bugs!!!!!!

Do you really believe them that they will remove all of reported bugs????!!

If you do then you a really a naive or young guy and man with no life experience!

They are not removing all the bugs on the Flash client, only the big one (and the one that occurs cross-platform). I restart the client every 3 battles to avot the error message, that pop up every 4 games. I also being randomly mistreated by the anti-cheat system when on top of other tanks. Apart from this two I don't see other bugs. Please could you specify what issue you have currently with the flash client?

Noone likes html5, gmake the graphics like in flash or noone will play

They are completely different platforms, both of them have different coding formats. You cannot expect their graphics to be the same because they run differently. Developers can certainly make the graphics better, but they can't make it exactly like flash.

Your internet connection/speed will have similar impact whether or not you use Flash or HTML.

People complained about not being able to afford a very expensive computer to play.  You don't need that - you just need a decent one.

But that goes for ALL gaming.  If you have crappy computer and crappy internet, how the heck can you expect to play an online computer game.  Or ANY computer game - online or not.  You go to buy a game to play offline you still need to match game-specs with your machine-specs.  That issue is not isolated to Tanki Online.

I think you are missing the point. We have played the regular flash and html versions of this game. The new one doesn't work and we are getting blamed for it not working. Don't you think we have already thought of the internet connection and a decent computer? This new client only seems to work on **new** machines. We already have played the game and like it enough to continue to do so. This new method disallows that desire.

Majority of complaints about HTML were before this new client was introduced.  I'm addressing the general complaints about Flash & HTML - not the HTML-client.

I use HTML (non-client) and have very few technical issues.  Does it look as good as Flash did?  No.  Is the UI/garage as good as Flash was?  No.  Hopefully they can improve that because using garage now is so slow.

But Flash is going.  Players need to upgrade their rigs if they want to keep playing.

At the moment you can only use one Shift key on your keyboard — either Shift Left or Shift Right. As to which of the two Shift keys is being used, you can change that in the game's Control Settings. The default Shift key being used is ShiftL, though ShiftR is placed far more conveniently on the keyboard, especially if you're using the arrow key tank controls, so I would definitely recommend you use the latter option — ShiftR.

All of the opponents' protection modules are already being displayed in the battle's tab, under the 'Defence %' section of the table, which is super convenient, due to being able to view all of the enemy team's protection modules in one place, and in a quick press of a button. That's something that the Flash version doesn't have.
Also, all of the enemies' protection modules and their respective percentages against your active equipped turret are already being displayed next to their tank's usernames, which is all you really need to know. To make a quick assessment of which modules the opponents' team is using, just press the Tab key and evaluate the turret change.

To give my personal opinion on the HTML5 vs. Flash client debate, I've only played on the HTML5 client a little, and can already tell you that it's far more developed and superior compared to the obsolete Flash one. We can expect even more changes and improvements in the near future.

Ive been playing in html client from yesterday, so far isnt that bad but to me it’s quite complicated than the flash version. And it takes bit extra time to join in a battle than flash version which is annoying. Still playing on html to get used to with it ?

But isn't that still wrong? That's like curing the cancer by killing the patient. If they cared about their playerbase why would they require us to upgrade the computers (which aren't necessarily that old) that have already played the content adequately? Spend more money so you can play a free game. That's not good business. That's not innovative or disruptive, it's just poor judgement on their part. It's been this way for more than 5 years.

Well, it's not TO that is discontinuing support of Flash. TO is not investing more $ to improve a game based on a platform that no longer has support. THAT is bad business.

What is your definition of "not that old"?

i faced the same problem and I have the solution now:

1. right click on the tanki online icon

2. go to properties

3. go to compatibility tab

4. tick the checkbox which says: run this program for compatibility mode.

5. Start playing.

GOOD LUCK

Thanks for the solution, it worked. Now i can play but with only 5 fps ? what a joke.

Since moving to HTML5 is inevitable, can the devs work on improving the GUI for the HTML5 client? The flash interface is alot friendlier and easier to see and use. Why not keep the layout as it was?

Mine is an Asus that's 4 years old, but all I am saying is that I am tired of being forced to change to things that don't work. That's all.
