Downloadable HTML5 client

How come the client is more heavy than the web version. It is way slower and unresponsive at times. I am seriously disappointed. And the camera movement is very strange. I feel my head spinning after some time. This feels like totally some other game, not the TankiOnline I knew.... and I am not liking it. Thumbs down for me.

And whats with the options and links. They are all over the places. It is like "guess what is where".

I installed the new Html 5 version on my PC and the game just doesn't open.

I click on the tanki online icon, the window opens but it is a complete black screen.

HTML5 Works fine for me but do something about RAM accumulation, RAM keeps on increasing without limit with every match until performance is affected and I have to restart the client.

Try reinstalling. make sure its internet is not blocked by your pc's firewall and check if tankionline.com is accessible in web browser.

I did all this, still the problem is there.

Your RAM issue is because your PC does not have enough RAM. If you can upgrade your PC with more RAM, then do so. Make sure to add the maximum amount of RAM your PC supports.

My PC's ram is more than enough for this game.

I usually play in chrome but I played in standalone client to check and I caught 3 gold boxes but this did not complete the special mission evol. of conf. or F2P one.

We’ve already said many times, that Flash is a thing of the past. All the main browsers are gradually giving up on it, and already in October 2020, it will not be supported anymore.

We really want you to still be able to play “Tanki Online” for many years, that why we’ve created the HTML-5 version of the game.

 

Previously, the HTML5 version was available only in browsers but in parallel with the development of the browser version we were working on the downloadable client. We have already dropped a link to it under one of V-LOG episodes and on the forum a few months ago but haven’t replaced the link on the main page.

 

Due to the worldwide lockdown situation, we had to wait much more time to receive a special certificate to sign the application. That was the reason why we haven’t replaced the link on the main page, but finally, all steps of certification have been left behind and the new HTML5 client is available right on the main page.

 

Many of you have moved to the HTML5 version but others still doubt it. We would like to remind you about two main reasons to move to the new version.

First — there is not much time left before the Flash version will be discontinued and you will have to move to the HTML5 version in order to keep playing your favorite game.

Second — the HTML5 version has a lot of advantages!

Obvious advantages of the HTML5-version:
 

• Smoother FPS on powerful PCs and absence of FPS limit for monitors with high screen frequency.

• A drastic decrease in the number of critical error and “crashes”

• Modern, practical interface.

• Awesome visual effects, that were not possible earlier.

• Unlimited potential for developing new content (including new turrets and hulls).

Download the HTML5 download version; unusable. Download version simply locks up consistantly.

Its not about fps.

I don't like battle interface.

Can't active supplies from both num pads.

Joining a battle is crappy.

Going to garage from lobby n battle is ugliest thing.

Gold box n other notification are messed up.

Its a new game in which every new stuff will be for real money, so lame.

I didn't played since couple of days, at least have to quit in end....

Players don't care about bugs, fps and interfaces all they want is only shop to work properly and more game breaking stuff like drones, augments and new paints for a price like 500 - 1000 USD each

Dev's please stop fixing bugs and spend more time developing new drones, augments  and paints and set a highest possible price tag. Players are waiting to buy all those stuff even if they can't play the game

i faced the same problem and I have the solution now:

1. right click on the tanki online icon

2. go to properties

3. go to compatibility tab 

4. tick the checkbox which says: run this program for compatibility mode.

5. Start playing.

Forrr a smarty guy 30 minutes is more than enough to got a clue what is what. Maybe for you is needed a mounth and a new teacher for a English language because I didn't understand very well in a last message what did you wanted to say! LOL!

It is not that HTML5 may look and feel weird to me, I always welcome new loo, but game performance is the problem here, slow and heavy, and a lot of lost connections.

The performance is supposed to be before the look, that a standard thing I learned. Players will pitch first about the performance then the look.

I agree with the performance We don't have here a picture on the wall that we want to watch we want to play and if you want to make a game with a fancy look and a bugs inside of the machine you will do something like do a bad cookies with a cake with a whipped cream on the top and sh.t inside.

And we all ask you who wants that to eat?

And which is that more than enough? I want to say for an example for others.

I have 8 GB but maybe it isn't the problem in a RAM.

I know only one thing when You want to make a house you don't want to make it on a sand ground or water flowed ground.

And don't make the substruction and wall of a sludge.

Maybe because the smart guy from tankionline wanted to first click on a button COMPLETE and then after that you can catch the first gold and the rest can leave for other players to them to they can complete they missions..
