Forum rank/status

Hi, 

I have been on the forum for a while now and I regularly comment under certain topics or join a discussion now and then, but since I entered the forum for the first time I've only been having the forum-status of 'general'. Someone who knows when you get the 'advanced' status or knows how the rank-system in the forum works? I have heard that your forum-status is based on your in-game rank, yet I am still classified as 'general'. 

I am not quite familiar with the forum system/statistics so I could be asking a rather dumb question, but since it's a q&a-section I figured out why not...

In the old Forum, player Forum groups (Beginner (no longer existent), General and Advanced) were based on the player's in-game rank, correct. Now, in the new Forum, newly-registered Forum accounts are automatically given the General group (regardless of the player's rank), and are only upgraded to the Advanced group once they reach at least 100 total posts (meaning that you're 23 posts away from fulfilling that criteria of receiving the Advanced group) and are at least 30 days old following the date of registration on the site.
