valid Tagging Changes

Hi folks;

Now that the topic creator has a tag, You should be able to tag them with the @ Command like @Topic Creator. This should work for all tags on the @Forum. You should be able to tag @Helper or @Moderator or @Admin or @Newspaper Reporter, and all other tags. People should be able to decide if they want to get a ping when such a tag is used. Since it is already easy to play ping pong and keep on tagging players, this does not add any risk, and if used excessively the offender can be warned and banned like with any rule.

I can see why @Maf won't like this idea if he steals all of the topic creator tags, but I am sure that the rest of us would enjoy this useful tool. I don't know if this engine can do such a thing or not.

It's a nice idea although I am slightly concerned that people will abuse this tag. Even though it can be made clear that it is against the rule to spam ping groups, people will still do it. You said "People should be able to decide if they want to get a ping when such a tag is used." I for myself would allow pings, but at the same time I know there will be a lot of cases where people will ping incorrect groups for certain matters. For example, if someone has a question about Contest matters they might end up pinging Head Admins and Helpers of other groups.

It's a nice idea but it would need some careful consideration before implementing.

I think that each section should say who can be pinged there for help. As far as abusers go, I can ping you 20 times right now if I want, so why is it so bad if I can ping another contest organizer without typing their name too? If the groups are not too big, then I don't see why not.
