declined add an ACTUAL battle pass

recently ive been surfing the tanki wiki and looked at old battle passes, and i noticed that EVERY time, they just keep getting worse and worse. will we ever get an ACTUALLY DECENT battle pass, with some animated paints, some shot effects, etc.??? or the greedy developers continue making it worse and worse every time? 

watch the free battle pass in 2021 be 100% mines, the paid one 100% crystals and containers

We do not accept ideas for increasing bonuses or rewards. Challenges must fit into the game's balance, which is why their rewards are constantly adjusted to make sure that players do not get too much stuff too easily. Not sure how challenges actually changed over time, but a quick look at the challenges archive shows that the second challenge (February 2019) was actually worse than the ones we get today, at least in terms of containers. In that challenge you got 40 containers for 2000 stars, while in this one you get 46 for the same amount. Not to mention that we now get augments in challenges, which is pretty cool.

wow, wasting my time grinding for a container at tier 69 is "pretty cool". this is why the game is dead. look at fortnite, f2p game with no p2w yet earns 100000% more than tanki

Tanki is FAR from dead. Those Players that argue that the game was alive back in the older days, back when crystal boxes were originally in the game, but think the game is dead now, are absurd for thinking this. Look at how many updates that were making it to the game back in those times, and look at how many updates are being rolled out regularly in years like this. So far, just in the portion of 2020 we have seen (even with the current global issues that make it hard for games to develop being present for two-three months now), more updates have been rolled out than over a span of 1+ years back in those days. From this aspect, the game is surely not dead.

Tanki has a vastly smaller player-base, you aren't factoring that into your calculations. Tanki Online probably has around 100,000 unique players per month, whereas Fortnite probably has 100,000,000, or possibly even more. Factoring this in, Tanki is proportionally making a great sum of money, and if Tanki had a player-base just as large as Fortnite, they would probably be making significantly more money than that game.

And they would also be able to afford to maintain the game with sales of cosmetic items only, without the need for P2W elements. Just like Fortnite.

Tanki has a vastly smaller player-base, you aren't factoring that into your calculations. Tanki Online probably has around 100,000 unique players per month, whereas Fortnite probably has 100,000,000, or possibly even more. Factoring this in, Tanki is proportionally making a great sum of money, and if Tanki had a player-base just as large as Fortnite, they would probably be making significantly more money than that game.

The main problem is that they also do some terrible updates now, so even more players leave the game, and they have to do more p2w too earn this money -> bad updates, and this starting again.
