Can I get my rank lowered?

I admit that I'm not a buyer and my tank is weak for my rank. So not really complaining as I get way more than I pay for.

And as I am an Isida, it now seems my role is to give others points, whether that be the opposition (by death) or my own team (by healing).

But it is a bit discouraging with all the ways I can be one shot even when I have full health. Not only do I have to avoid the traditional one-shots from shaft, hammer, rail, magnum, etc. but I am sometimes now also able to be one-shot by:

- vulcan: yes, the weapon that cranks out a hundred rounds per second. There have been occasions when if I am hit by just one of those bullets I am dead

- smokey: yes, the weapon that used to be a pop-gun now can kill me with one shot

- freeze: I have occasionally seen a few freezes so strong, that if one crystal of that liquid nitrogen hits me, I am dead

- and here is the ultimate humiliation: I was one-shot killed by the EMP from a gauss turret WHILE HE WAS SHOOTING THE OTHER WAY. Not sure whether to laugh or cry on that.

So, is there any way I can get my rank lowered so I can play with tanks that are my own strength?

Or how can I compete with tanks that are 5 times stronger than I am? I mean, to get the kill I have to have my Isida plasma laser on them for 10 seconds before they get one shot off. And all they have to do to survive is go in reverse.

I feel you,  and I'm sorry to hear that, but actually there are noway to lower your rank and it's impossible to do, and we all know that the developers will not do that,  your words not logical to lower your rank, I agree totally with you there is nothing funny or interesting to chase every player in your team every time and don't do anything else, and I know you can't compete with players in your rank when you seems like having Mk7 and they have Mk7+ and clearly obvious that you didn't use druggers and they have drones no comparison, but I see the solution to stop playing tanki because you will get no benefit when you playing it just make you angry

You could use a stronger hull if you are non buyer. If you're a non buyer light hulls aren't the best choice because of weak health. Buyers can make up the health by using protections/drones. Also maybe isida isn't the best turret for you. You could also combat the problem by playing less so you'll rank slower. And play for only missions or special events with double Crystal's so you don't fall behind.

The game is a lot easier now than it was years ago in terms of how easy it is to obtain crystals, but the gameplay became faster. You should have a decent amount of crystals for any rank, but you need to begin using specific turrets and hulls. Isida and light hulls are not viable at all and you need to purchase a different combo.

I would say that if you play the game a lot, then just stick to NS pro battles, use MM only for missions and head straight to pro. Since you're already a legend rank, it wouldn't harm you to rank up even more, plus you'd get 40k every time you rank up.

There is no way to down grade your rank. Looking at your profile, you only have isida and hornet at Mk7 with GS around 7100 at the legend level. This will be extremely hard to compete in MM battles. You probably ranked up a bit too quickly without the crystals backing you up. Currently, I see some top players using a dictator with isida and the mechanics drone playing only assault defending position. If you are not hung up on DL ratio, activating OD with lots of teammates around you will earn good xp and crystals. Realistically, you should aim for a GS of around 9000 to have any chance of not being an easy target.  Good luck.

I don't know what the answer is because I see a lot of hornets dominating battles.

I have a fully upgraded titan and that can be destroyed in 1 second like your hornet.

So, the developers did promise that after the current update, players which had a stronger tank for their level would just progress very quickly and the issue would be resolved in the coming days. As for now, there is NO way to roll back your rank.

I can understand where you are coming from. I, myself, had to go through the same thing. I had been playing with Railgun M1 and Hornet M2 till Major and was very much done with the game. However, continuously playing, I some how finally made it to the last rank. My advise, try to spend crystals wisely. Save them efficiently and buy one of the most OP combos for your rank. It wont be easy, but on the long run, worth it!

Lastly, I have a feeling that such topics (or questions in general) should be posted/ asked in this section.

No you can't. As you are at Legend rank and as you do have equipment at Mk7 (Isida and Hornet), this will be difficult.

What you are missing dearly is Protection modules, they are at MK4 maximum! This is no good at all. How things get to this? What have you done with all your crystals? 

Light hull have low HP, to compensate you need to either avoid combat that you are gonna lose and/or have strong protection against splash damage. You need protection module against the strong, long range turrets and that have splash damage too. And you need to have them at Mk7. From now on all your crystals expenses should go into protection modules. You need the big 4: Gauss, Thunder, Magnum, Stiker. Next would be Railgun, Vulcan, Smoky. Until you get these you will have to suffer for a while more. Avoid all other turret at all cost, don't play brave, just lead them to strong team mate that would take care of them for you.

You are not using enough supplies too, if you do not have any try to get more from the drops. Change your daily mission to get more repair kits and double armor.

So for me you need, to carry on playing smartly to get more crystals per battles and invest in Mk7 protection modules. Play safe and increase your crystals until you get your Mk 7 protection modules when 50% discount. I would update them immediately to the first MU. When you get the 4 of them, MU them only when 30% or better 50% discount to max 40%. then you can extend to more Protection module.

How to get more crystals? Well there is specific action in the game that in bring higher battle score than just killing other players, and Healing a player with isida is actually good. Therefore focus on healing the light hulls because they need less healing than the big one (especially the Juggernaut). If you are always in the base, you can help returnign flag too.

The current meta is a little tricky for isida. If you are going to use it to primarily attack, you better go in with some dictators/titans beside you & choose a wise hull for the purpose. Learn to shield yourself & pick & choose the players you heal - I don't mean heal just certain people, heal the ones with the best chance to make it out of a situation or those activating an overdrive...

Ditch hornet. You should have bought hunter on 50% sale. And get some modules.

Do not waste your ammo on healing sub-par players. 

Find one or two strong players in your team, and stick with them for the duration of the battle.

Buy supplies at 50% off whenever you get a chance if you want to play matchmaking battles. Especially stock up on Repairs, and starting using them. Supplies give the biggest bang-for-the-buck in this game, as alteration / drones / microupgrades are too pricey.

 

Isidas are targetted a lot in battles, hence need more repairs. In long run, you can switch to combo like hornet rail / hornet magnum . Then you need more of double damage than repairs.

 

cost of DD = 25crystals in 50% sale.

very affordable.

Always save enough crystals to buy 1 MU for all (or most of) your equipment on every 50% sale.

Play pro battles if you want to earn crystals without using supplies. Get more experience points, as ranking up will give you rank up reward of 40k crystals.

 

Leave unbalanced MM games within 2 minutes if your teammates are very bad.

You should be able to be stronger with Mk4. There is MK4 product kit available at your rank.
You bought all the turrets and made them M2! That is too many turrets! As a free player you need to focus on 2 max, otherwise you won't have enought crystals to max one at all.

Same for hulls, you ahve them all at mk2, maximum one per class.

This is partially true, but my secondary account is I.murica and this is my xp/bp acc and well with my secondary acc I have all almost mk4 with some upgraded to mk5 with micro

You are truly a pro player. Way to go!

So you have only one Mk5 and it is the Wasp, funny enough but with the Mk_conversion update a Wasp M1-7 became a Mk5-1.

Funny enough before the update I was staff seargant i believe and I had all mk0s but i came back at the april fools event which was a savior bc before i was getting rekt as a mk0 against mk 3-6s. If you was sc I think I have one on my old computer, but I had all mk0s before the update and all mk0s after  Nice try with that and ik that, but not true haha. Also if that were true my m2-5 hornet would be mk5 but it's only mk4 with full micro upgrades...
